Wonderful trip to the Aditya in October. |The hotel was beautifully appointed throughout with a sense of calm and relaxation. Perfect for our holiday. The staff were attentive (without being over bearing) from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was delicious, and always attractively presented. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating whether it be delivering meals at any time of day to cleaning the room as it suited us. There was always a tuk tuk available within minutes to take us on a trip or excursion - even to the local hospital for a fractured toe….We loved our time at the Aditya and hope to return. Thank you to all the staff for making it so memorable.

Our stay at Aditya Resort has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been absolutely exceptional — genuinely caring, incredibly attentive, and consistently helpful. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, and the whole team works together so seamlessly that you can truly feel it. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you really belong here. The hotel itself is gorgeous, set right on the seafront with stunning views and a wonderful, tranquil pool area. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what you hope for in a getaway. The food has been extraordinary. We are vegan, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The bar staff have also been brilliant — friendly, skilled, and always creating a great vibe. Our room was spotless every day, kept perfectly clean and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, the resort delivers on every level. Exceptional staff, incredible food, a beautiful setting, and a truly memorable sense of hospitality. We couldn’t recommend Adita Resort more highly.

As a team,we truly appreciate the warm welcome, excellent coordination, and valuable learning opportunities provided to us during the visit. Traveling with children, we were deeply disappointed and honestly shocked by what we found here. Reaching the property is extremely difficult — there are no signs, the road is dirty, winding, and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, it was immediately obvious that this is not a luxury 4-star hotel, despite how it is presented online. The entire property is surrounded by scaffolding, and there is an unpleasant smell throughout the area. The barbecue space and restaurant were in very poor condition and clearly neglected. This is not an environment where you feel comfortable staying with children. When we were shown the room, the situation became unacceptable. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The third bed looked like an improvised solution placed next to a filthy window, completely unsuitable for a child. The bathroom was difficult to locate and poorly arranged. The so-called private pool was nothing more than a dirty puddle with a strong sewage odor. The beach was equally neglected, unclean, and not suitable for families. After nearly five hours of travel, we asked for a refund and left immediately. This property is absolutely nothing like the photos shown online. The images are highly misleading and create expectations that are completely false. I have stayed in many small family-run accommodations that were cleaner, safer, and far more welcoming than this place. Families should be especially cautious and not rely on the online presentation.

Researched for a small quiet spot before our tour of Sri Lanka. This hotel gave this and more. Service impeccable, friendly but professional and nothing too hard. Cleaning rooms very good and done so quickly you were never inconvenienced. Food was 5 star, and very reasonable prices for a good hotel. We would stay here again and definitely recommend to friends if looking for some serenity.

I truly don’t know where to begin—this is, hands down, the BEST place we have ever stayed. From the location to the rooms and, most importantly, the service, everything was beyond exceptional—an absolute 110% experience. I stayed here with my now fiancé for a weekend, and he chose the beach on this property to propose. Needless to say, it was the perfect setting for such a special milestone, and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or meaningful place for it. The property itself is stunning. The room was incredibly spacious, thoughtfully designed, and felt luxurious yet comfortable. The open bathroom leading to the jacuzzi was a definite highlight and added such a unique and relaxing touch to our stay. The food deserves special mention. We opted for the Sri Lankan breakfast, and it was genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. From the presentation to the generous portions and variety, everything was both filling and incredibly satisfying—we ended up skipping lunch because we were still so full! Dinner was just as enjoyable, and overall, the food easily earns a 10/10. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as if we were the only guests on the property. The attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care shown by the staff were remarkable. We stayed for two nights and left the room only a handful of times, yet every time we returned, it felt like walking into the room for the very first time—immaculately cleaned, refreshed, and perfectly arranged. We even joked that they must have an alarm that goes off the moment we step out! A special thank you to Susil, the manager, who was an absolute delight to work with and made our stay even more memorable. The entire team was kind, courteous, attentive, and incredibly efficient. This level of personalized care and hospitality is something you rarely experience—even at high-end hotels. Every penny spent was more than worth it. Thank you for making our stay so unforgettable. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know and cannot wait to return.

Picked this hotel for our honeymoon & it was perfect choice. 1. Privacy: boutique hotel with limited villas, we felt like everything was absolutely private. 2. Rooms are large, we were in sky lounge(vayu) & extra large room with balcony overlooking the ocean, big bathroom and a jacuzzi on the terrace. 3. Service is top-notch. The staff, both restaurant and hotel staff take extra care & listen intently. We had a flight cancellation and reached a day late but the staff still adjusted our stay for the end of our stay. 4. There is a spa which has some modern therapies as well, they offered me a complementary therapy apart from the ones that we had booked. 5. There is a pool and a private beach, probably saw the best sunset view ever. Food is very very tasty, though on a tad bit higher side in terms of pricing.

Aditya Resort is the most wonderful small hotel where the staff outnumber the guests and nothing is too much trouble for the happy smiling crew! |You are treated like royalty and the rooms are stunning! Comfortable bed, amazing shower and outdoor bathroom and super extras like fruit, sweet treats , robes and beautifully scented bathroom products complete the gorgeous experience! |The food is also amazing - huge thanks to the excellent chef and his team! |You will not be disappointed!
