Aditya Resort

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time. This is a small boutique luxury hotel. From the moment you step in to the time you leave, you are pampered every step of the way. We had an ocean facing Sagarika suite. It is a huge room with king size bed and a large sitting area. The bathroom is the size of a motel room! The suite has a large balcony with a plunge pool and great view of the ocean. The service here is impeccable. The rooms are cleaned while you are away. All amenities are filled regularity and no request is too much for them. The restaurant serves delicious breakfast and meals. The breakfast is huge and made to order (no bland buffet here). The dinners are prepared fresh and excellent. The prices are very reasonable for such an upscale property The pool is big and clean with plenty of loungers around. The bar is always staffed and they have great selection of drinks. The beach is peaceful, clean and very secluded. The sand is golden soft and great for walking. This is not a swimming beach. While we were there the waves very very strong and we were advised not to go into the ocean. But there are good swimmable beaches in Hikkaduwa about 10 Mins away (the best is Narigama beach) We also used the spa services for 3 days and were very happy with massages and other therapies. Overall, this was one of the best resorts we have stayed. Worth every penny.

The hotel is amazing especially the pool villa where we stayed for 3 nights. It was out of this world. Cleanliness was to it's perfection and staff were amazing.|A special thanks to Indika and Noyel for making our dinners extra special. But most of all a special thanks to Susil whose always prompt to execute any service to the least detail and perfection. New years eve was full of surprises, food was out of this world and going back to our rooms we found a cake, a present and our family photo in a frame. I was lost for words. Definitely the best hotel.

Wonderful trip to the Aditya in October. |The hotel was beautifully appointed throughout with a sense of calm and relaxation. Perfect for our holiday. The staff were attentive (without being over bearing) from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was delicious, and always attractively presented. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating whether it be delivering meals at any time of day to cleaning the room as it suited us. There was always a tuk tuk available within minutes to take us on a trip or excursion - even to the local hospital for a fractured toe….We loved our time at the Aditya and hope to return. Thank you to all the staff for making it so memorable.

Picked this hotel for our honeymoon & it was perfect choice. 1. Privacy: boutique hotel with limited villas, we felt like everything was absolutely private. 2. Rooms are large, we were in sky lounge(vayu) & extra large room with balcony overlooking the ocean, big bathroom and a jacuzzi on the terrace. 3. Service is top-notch. The staff, both restaurant and hotel staff take extra care & listen intently. We had a flight cancellation and reached a day late but the staff still adjusted our stay for the end of our stay. 4. There is a spa which has some modern therapies as well, they offered me a complementary therapy apart from the ones that we had booked. 5. There is a pool and a private beach, probably saw the best sunset view ever. Food is very very tasty, though on a tad bit higher side in terms of pricing.

Best hotel I stayed at in Sri Lanka.Room was huge, clean and stylish. Plunge pool = perfect to relax. Room dining food was way above average. Super friendly staff. Would 100% book again.

The food has been extraordinary. We are vegan, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The bar staff have also been brilliant — friendly, skilled, and always creating a great vibe. Our room was spotless every day, kept perfectly clean and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, the resort delivers on every level. Exceptional staff, incredible food, a beautiful setting, and a truly memorable sense of hospitality. We couldn’t recommend Adita Resort more highly.

As a team,we truly appreciate the warm welcome, excellent coordination, and valuable learning opportunities provided to us during the visit. The exposure to restaurant operations, kitchen activities, and food preparation processes was very informative and beneficial for our academic and practical knowledge. Researched for a small quiet spot before our tour of Sri Lanka. This hotel gave this and more. Service impeccable, friendly but professional and nothing too hard. Cleaning rooms very good and done so quickly you were never inconvenienced. Food was 5 star, and very reasonable prices for a good hotel. We would stay here again and definitely recommend to friends if looking for some serenity.
