This resort is excellent. From the moment you get here you’ll be catered for. We arrived to a welcome snack and drink whilst they took our bags to our room. The room was lovely and clean, overlooking the jungle which was exquisite. The pools are nestled in the treetops creating a unique poolside experience and the staff at the bar are very attentive. The spa is outstanding, truly, we have visited hundreds of spas and this one is honestly fantastic, it’s more expensive than the ones locally, but the service and experience is worth it in my opinion. It wouldn’t be a well rounded review without some constructive criticism, so here are the minor points I feel could do with work. First, the restaurant is painfully slow, in fairness they say this on the sign outside but at times it’s obscene, just don’t go if you’re in a rush or have to be somewhere. Second, we received a 10% discount on food and 15% discount at the spa with our room, but we had to constantly remind and enforce this, it’s almost not worth having, and there are some items at the spa which aren’t covered by this. I think there needs to be more of an effort to check whether guests have these discounts, if I have to constantly tell you that it exists it feels inauthentic and I’d rather not have it. As I say, these are minor points and pale in comparison to what was a phenomenal time at Adiwana. I highly recommend the resort to any travellers heading to Ubud.
