Stayed at Adiwana Jembawan in Ubud and had a mixed experience.
Positives:
• The staff are truly wonderful – warm, welcoming, and always eager to help.
• Shower pressure is excellent, and the bed was very comfortable.
• The hotel is peaceful and quiet, making it a good spot to unwind.
• In-house yoga was great!
Areas for improvement:
• The kettle in the room doesn’t automatically switch off – a potential safety concern.
• The hairdryer only works if you keep the ‘on’ button held down the entire time, which is quite inconvenient.
• In-room coffee is poor quality, and tea selection is very limited (only two types, no English breakfast).
• Water allocation feels unnecessarily restricted – only two bottles are provided, though you can request more. Why not just provide four to start with?
• Noticed small insects crawling on the wooden surfaces and walls.
• No iron or ironing board in the room, which was inconvenient for longer stays.
• The on-site restaurant was average – not bad, but not particularly memorable either.
Overall, the stay was pleasant thanks to the lovely team and peaceful environment, but a few small upgrades could really improve the guest experience.
