ADLER Spa Resort BALANCE

Couldn’t have dreamt of a better holiday. This place is a great mix of relaxing, sports activities, wonderful food and great staff. The style is a nice mix of mountains and modern. Little snacks throughout the day and gourmet level food every night. The activities schedule offers everything you could need. The spa is super nice and the different seating areas are very varied. Would go back anytime!!

Everything about our stay here was amazing! The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have a beautiful balcony view over the town and mountains. The location is great, with an easy walk to the town and lifts. We loved the food and meal service. The spa and grounds are beautiful. Highly recommend!

We weren’t guests here, but we did book the day spa. First off, the spa is amazing - the pools, saunas and relax spaces are nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. We got 55 minutes massages, but wished they were 75’s. Very skilled therapists! Only problem is the welcome service, we found it to be clunky with a lot of misunderstandings and a general lack of where to go and what was available to us.

Absolutely gorgeous place. The location is amazing. The hotel, room, layout, spa facilities and staff are all top class! Truely luxurious. The soft floral fragrance that flows thru the entire place is very relaxing. The vegetarian dinner menu that changes daily is such a fantastic option. The friendly staff took care of all our needs. They went above and beyond our expectations.

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming the moment we arrived! Helped us park the car and gave us a tour of the grounds immediately! The price you pay for what is included is INCREDIBLE. Unlimited use of the spa areas, gym, pools, etc. the hotel has access to so many activities and resources! breakfast was included and AMAZING every morning. We will be staying here again and trying out other Adler hotels!

Amazing hotel within walking distance to all of the restaurants, shops and cable cars to Seceda. The spa was absolutely incredible - one of the best I’ve ever visited. Barbara was a wonderful masseuse and McKayla was great for my facial. The Mountain View balcony rooms have a beautiful view and are incredibly spacious (much larger than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Europe). They truly thought of everything to make the guest experience perfect. We plan to stay at another Adler Resort next time we are in Italy.

Disappointing. We were so excited about this hotel and left completely disappointed. Considering how many flaws we experienced during our 4 night stay, I cannot comprehend how this hotel can be considered a 5 star hotel. 1 - Dinner. We have 4 dinners in total, out of which 2 were at the "balance" side and 2 at the "dolomiti" side. The "dolomiti" side - Dinner is a complete disgrace (and I'm being gentle with my wording). All of the dishes look and taste like there were prepared by a kid. I cannot understand how the manager of this hotel thinks that the dinner is acceptable for a 5 star establishment - it doesn't even qualify for a 4 start hotel. All the dishes are extremely simple and lacking of taste and we were even server undercooked pasta TWICE (how a chef in Italy can mess up cooking pasta is beyond me). The only bright side to this dinner were the desserts, which were good. If all of that is not enough, some section of this restaurant are some 50 (!!!) meters away from the buffet (appetizers and deserts)... How can someone think this kind of distance is acceptable is beyond me. The "balance" side - dinner was OK, but nothing to be excited about. Deserts were of low quality. On both sides there's very little selection and if for example you don't like a certain type of food (for example sea food), you're left with absolutely no choice. 2 - Spa. This is without a doubt the highlight of this hotel, however there's a very annoying aspect to the spa - a client cannot activate the jets in the pool on demand! There's simply no button to activate it - the jets are turning on and off randomly which is extremely frustrating. I've never encountered such a design flaw in any spa I've been to. 3 - Room. The room is OK, but agian nothing to be excited about. The room also have a severe design flaw - for some reason the light in the bathroom is motion activated only (there's no physical button to control it), which means if you go pee on the middle of the night, you're blinded by the light. For me personally, as a light sleeper, was horrible as I couldn't fall asleep afterwards. 4 - Service. The vast majority of the staff are young and do not possess the necessary experience to work at such a high class hotel. The service was not bad by itself, but was absolutely lacking the class and refinment one might expect from a hotel at this class. Overall, considering that a night in this hotel costs well over 500€, I cannot advise anyone to visit there. There are other higher quality hotel around at a similar or lower price.

The Adler Balance Spa in Ortisei is a perfect winter destination for both skiers and non-skiers. Rooms are light and airy with beautiful views over the town of Ortisei and the Dolomites. The restaurant offers a nice range of food for both breakfast and dinner, with excellent buffet offerings of breads, fruits, juices, cheese, smoked salmon, etc at breakfast and a range of salads, cheese and bread at dinner (be sure to try mostarda di pera with your cheese!). The service is top notch and friendly. The restaurant ambiance at the Balance is perfect for adults - with warm light and the soft buzz of conversation and people enjoying themselves. For a change of venue, you can request to dine at the Adler Dolomiti - different menu, but also excellent food and a dessert buffet. Depending on where you are seated, it could be a bit noisier as this is where families will be dining (including small children). |The spa facilities are top notch - with a range of saunas and steam baths, treatments and indoor and outdoor pools. The adult only building is wonderful - the saunas have a wall of large windows to let in light and views. Every day there is a sauna infusion which is amazing. The spa treatments were the best we ever had.|The hotel is perfectly located to walk to lifts for Seceda and Alpe di Siusi slopes as well as the frequent ski bus to Santa Christina and Selva. There are many daily outdoor activities for non-skiers as well as guided skiing for both intermediate and advanced skiers.|This is just an amazing hotel!
