As a lifetime Marriott platinum Bonvoy member with well over 1000 nights stayed at beautiful properties around the world. At first I was hopeful that I would find a premium Marriott resort in the Dolomiti like I found with W Verbier in the Swiss Alps, which was a fantastic experience, but from the moment I arrived at Adler Balance I began to feel I was in for a pleasant retreat. Leave it to say that by the time I had to check out, I was conniving ways in my mind how I could possibly extend my stay and if nothing else where I could find a winner of opportunity to return sooner than later.||The Adler Balance Spa Resort was top shelf in every respect! The Spa was absolutely one of the best spas I have ever enjoyed around the world. The amenities, the treatments, and the staff were fantastic! Try the Cryobox!||While we had little to no interaction with the housekeeping staff, everything was always perfect and super clean. In fact, we never used the showers in the room except on our night of arrival as we used the Spa showers on a day-to-day basis.||The welcome crew at Adler Balance for always very friendly and incredibly accommodating.||Last but not least, was the food and beverage service included in our half board package. Five breakfasts. Five dinners. Double five stars! Gastronomically everything was gourmet. Never once felt the desire to go off property for a meal as we knew we would not be let down in any respect. The entire F&B team was fantastic, but a special call out to Danielle. If Adler Resorts was opening a new property or needed to replace a team leader to observe his attentiveness to tables and at the same time interact and assist both his superiors, but also his fellow team members, including those much less experienced than himself make this young man an excellent candidate.||Bottom line top shelf! Book with confidence. I look forward to my return much sooner than later.

Definitely a spa to treat yourself to; however as a day spa you really need to plan (and I was not prepared). I planned a facial and spa day for the morning. The facilities appear to be fantastic, but they do not open until 1500, so no spa day for me. :( The facial I received was quite good for a sensitive skin facial, however that is not what I had booked. I came in quite red from the hike from our house and when the treatment specialist asked about my flushed skin, I didn't realize what she was asking and I ended up getting a sensitive skin facial. So in the end I received a nice facial massage with some very delicate products and came home and gave myself a facial using skin care products more conducive for my aging skin. I think this spa is best experienced as a guest in the hotel and this is where you would get the most of the Adler experience. Their reception and spa reception people are top notch.

We decided to come back after a long hiatus. It was a dream. We were thoughtfully given the same room we had last time. The hotel is still the same beautiful property as we remembered: some changes were made in the restaurant, which gave the space a more intimate feel. Food even better than we remembered, with more vegetarian options. The rooms were also spruced up, getting a more contemporary look without sacrificing the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The pools are still the unique space we remembered and my morning swim with the main pool by myself was a bliss. We spent four relaxing nights and were truly sorry to leave (I almost forgot to pack half the clothes I brought …) . Not cheap but definitely worth every penny.

I highly recommend you take advantage of the spa offerings at this hotel while you are here! We stayed for our honeymoon and had the most relaxing experience. The hotel is within walking distance of two of the main lifts in the area. After a long hike it was nice to unwind with a massage, time in the sauna, and a cup of tea. The people at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a rotating menu that changed every evening! I wish there were more Hotel Adler locations!

Beautiful hotel, impressive SPA, and as a plus, you also find adults only sittings and outdoor pool. There are plenty of SPA treatments to choose from at a reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the massages. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was at the next level.I highly recommend this hotel if you are in need of some relaxation. We will definitely come back . Congratulations to all the Adler team !!! Keep up the good job!

We've stayed with Adler at their Sicily resort a few times and thought we'd try the hotel in Ortesei for some Alpine scenery and walking. I think their first hotel opened in the 1820's - the one we stayed in (I think) - and the family ownership continues to present day with all that experience and commitment producing a guest experience that's hard to better. The staff are exactly what I would expect ; alert, attentive and friendly but never intrusive. The quality of everything from toiletries to floor finishes is second to none and the meals are prepared by an absolutely top class kitchen. We've found this now in two of their establishments and have booked to visit another in a couple of months. They're not the cheapest for sure but I don't think even the pickiest guest will be disappointed.

This was the best Hotel we stayed at on our Italy trip, and possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The level of service and detail is unmatched. The atmosphere is incredible - upscale but not pretentious, and the spa portion of the hotel is world class. I had to pinch myself when soaking in the brine pool and looking at the larger than life misty alpine meadows in the background and the beautiful manicured landscape immediately surrounding the spa - the setting was something out of a storybook. The rooms were very large, modern, relaxing, and had all the special touches you could ask for in a 5 star hotel. We had 1 dinner at the Adler restaurant which was decent, but not amazing. However the breakfasts were incredible. Out of all our breakfast-included accommodations on our trip, this one took the cake. They had everything under the sun to eat including fresh sweet brioche, delicious cured meats, artisanal yoghurts, all kinds of pastries, fruits, fresh waffles, fresh crepes, omletes , and even a block of raw honeycomb - just to name a few items. My wife and I would definitely stay at an Adler spa again.

When you book a five star resort, you expect a high level of service. Upon arrival, it felt very unwelcoming. We booked this for a special celebration, which we noted in the notes. Other guests upon arrival received glasses of champagne, we did not. It’s a very large resort, we were given no explanation of the layout or amenities. Our room was on the 2nd floor with no patio or view which was extremely loud late into the evenings and in the early morning from street traffic or drunk patrons on the streets. No AC ,so we had to keep windows open which was bright and loud. No ear plugs or eye masks in room. Amenities in the room weren’t available or were broken, so we had to go down to the desk multiple times for requests which felt like a hassle to the staff and us. The benefits are the adult only spa area, free parking, free e-bike rentals & conveniently located in the center of town. A room without a view isn’t worth it at the high cost they charge, even In the off season. This resort seems more suited for families, lots of children, messes, noise, and chaos in the dining areas. Overall this was a lower quality 5 star hotel of our travels in Italy. Our recommendation would be to stay somewhere else for a quiet romantic peaceful scenic getaway in the Dolomites.

Yelp
Spa: 5/5 Massages and pricing: 4/5 Food (breakfast): 5/5 Food (dinner): 3/5 Gym:4/5 Rooms: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 A true luxury resort with lots of ammenities. We spend a week there in Feb 2023 and had a great time skiing and enjoy the amenities in the resort. There are many spas on the premise. The heated outdoor pool was my favorite. Very easy to get an appointment at the spa and the services are reasonable prices. If I remember correctly massages are $60-70 or so for 50min. They have many classes such and yoga and some that runs in the spa. There is an adult only spa section which was nice and there is a beautiful natural cold plunge. As for the food. The breakfast was great. Dinner was a bit disappointing. We ended up only eating in twice and went out the rest of the nights even though dinner was included in our package. The rooms and the beds are comfy and the gym is well equipped.

Yelp
Stayed for two nights to use as our base to hike through the Dolomites. Truly a 5 star hotel that caters to winter and summer activities. Couple that with attentive service, excellent spa facilities and excellent Tyrolean food, you will remember your stay at this resort. There is a large percentage of guests who travel from Munich which is a 3 hour drive. The resort is located in Oritsei which is a quaint mountain town that looks like it served as the original model for many North American ski towns. Nearby is Selva do Val Gardena, another popular spot for skiing and experiencing this World Heritage site.
