Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti (Ortisei, Alps / Dolomites) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Built around a classic Tyrolean guesthouse from the early 19th century, today’s Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti is an expansive and very contemporary Alpine resort. Set in the heart of the village of Ortisei, in Val Gardena, it’s got easy access to the mountains via cable car and ski lift. And while the outdoors is the main attraction — various guided outings are available if you haven’t arrived with a plan — it’s the kind of hotel you could lose yourself in for a day or two, thanks to the impressive spa and wellness offerings, as well as the charmingly stylish rooms and suites and the hearty, flavorful cuisine on offer in the restaurant." - Tablet Hotels

True luxury stay. The spa is incredible, especially if you like saunas. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially impressed by the maitre’d at the restaurant Davide who remembered me and wife’s room by sight. Room was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the mountains and the cable car. The comforters were wierd and we did have to request an extra blanket, but that was provided no problem. Great for couples and also seemed to be quite kid-friendly

What can we add to our review that hasn’t already been said? This hotel is an experience that one will not forget. Everyone from the front desk staff, restaurant staff and spa staff were very accommodating. We got the half board (breakfast and dinner). We were so glad we went with this option. It was so nice just to go downstairs to the restaurant for our meals rather than look for something in town. Our room was good size with a balcony. The pool/spa area is over the top. It was truly amazing. So much to do! The hotel offers so much in the way of massages, fitness classes, biking and hiking. They also offer snacks in their bar area at 3:30pm each day. The Adler is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We would to return someday. It was truly an amazing experience.

I would like to share our experience at this hotel. It was highly recommended by friends as a fantastic place with exceptional service — the kind of place one can return to again and again. At the same time, they mentioned that the service had declined in recent years. Now that we finally visited, I can say the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast excellent, and the property itself truly lovely. However, the reception staff were not as attentive as expected — a few important details were forgotten. What truly disappointed us, though, was a very unpleasant experience in the spa — perhaps the worst we’ve ever had. We asked to speak with the hotel manager, hoping at least for an apology, but no one responded. We left the hotel without a single word of acknowledgment. We usually stay at five-star properties of this level, yet we have never encountered such poor communication or indifference. If attention to detail and outstanding service matter to you, unfortunately, this is not the right place. I sincerely hope the hotel management reads this review, as we truly wished to speak in person but felt completely ignored. This message is simply a reminder to be more attentive to your guests.

Our stay at the Adler in Ortisei was absolutely amazing. The property is gorgeous, location cannot be beat. The room was quite spacious with a great view from the balcony. The bathroom was large, huge closet, separate water closet with a bidet. Our five night stay was very comfortable. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been a fan in the room since there is no A/C. There is a parking garage if you have a car. The garage has spaces if you need to charge your electric or hybrid vehicle. Breakfast was included with our package and it was more than plentiful with great service. We went to the cake buffet one day and that was lovely with a large selection of sweet treats. The indoor/outdoor heated pool was one of the best things about the Adler. It was really great to get into the heated pool after a day of hiking. 10/10 highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Ortisei!!

We loved our stay at ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI! The hotel is beautiful and relaxing, with spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and an amazing spa. We joined the e-bike tour (medium level) — a fun and scenic adventure, great for anyone in decent shape. Dinner was outstanding — generous portions, lots of variety, and everything was delicious. We’d definitely love to come back!

Google
Amazing hotel, with the most comfortable rooms and bedding. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home—whether in the restaurant, at the spa, or at the reception. The spa is stunning, and the facilities are outstanding. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, with plenty of options, including carefully selected and well-prepared vegetarian dishes. All dinners include a buffet of delicious salads, cheese selection and (unlimited and beautiful) desserts. I couldn’t even choose a single highlight because everything is so comfortable, delicious, and beautiful. If I had to, the highlight would be the staff. The location is also amazing, just steps from the lifts. The pools are very nice as well.

I cannot rate this hotel more highly - it was the highlight of my three week stay in Europe. The room was pleasant and super comfortable, but it’s the location and spa/thermal facilitates plus food that really sets this hotel apart. ||||The pools, spas, adults only sauna complex and the sun loungers dotted around the gardens with views to the glorious mountains were heaven after a day of hiking and cable cars. My massage at the day spa was excellent, if expensive. ||||The food served for half board was spectacular - the salad bar to start was a joy for travellers craving healthy and delicious food after weeks away from home, and the a la carte choices were inventive, generous and of the highest quality. Try and stay for the South Tyrol buffet night if you can (Wednesday night I think); it was superb and lovely to have a local producer of the smallgoods served present to talk about his products. This is nothing like your average hotel buffet!! The only area I felt there was room for improvement was that dinner was not served until 730pm (and a couple of nights it was late starting, more like 745) which was a bit late for someone like me who prefers an early night, or families with younger children who want to dine together. ||||The hotel’s location in the heart of Ortisei Village - with the Alpe di Siusi cable car a couple of minutes by foot and the Seceda cable car less than 10 minutes by foot - was outstanding. I borrowed the free ebikes twice just for the experience and it was a lovely, easy way to enjoy the area. ||||Honestly, the Adler is very expensive but you will leave feeling that it was worth every cent. I cannot wait to return…one day.

The Adler Hotel is simply unbeatable. The location is perfect for hiking – three cable cars are within a 5-minute walk. The spa is fantastic, the food absolutely outstanding, and the service top-notch. We loved the complimentary e-bikes, which made exploring even more fun. There’s even a kids club from age 4 (unfortunately our youngest is just 3 – haha!). We’ll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Yelp
Spa: 5/5 Massages and pricing: 4/5 Food (breakfast): 5/5 Food (dinner): 3/5 Gym:4/5 Rooms: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 A true luxury resort with lots of ammenities. We spend a week there in Feb 2023 and had a great time skiing and enjoy the amenities in the resort. There are many spas on the premise. The heated outdoor pool was my favorite. Very easy to get an appointment at the spa and the services are reasonable prices. If I remember correctly massages are $60-70 or so for 50min. They have many classes such and yoga and some that runs in the spa. There is an adult only spa section which was nice and there is a beautiful natural cold plunge. As for the food. The breakfast was great. Dinner was a bit disappointing. We ended up only eating in twice and went out the rest of the nights even though dinner was included in our package. The rooms and the beds are comfy and the gym is well equipped.

Yelp
Stayed for two nights to use as our base to hike through the Dolomites. Truly a 5 star hotel that caters to winter and summer activities. Couple that with attentive service, excellent spa facilities and excellent Tyrolean food, you will remember your stay at this resort. There is a large percentage of guests who travel from Munich which is a 3 hour drive. The resort is located in Oritsei which is a quaint mountain town that looks like it served as the original model for many North American ski towns. Nearby is Selva do Val Gardena, another popular spot for skiing and experiencing this World Heritage site.
