Admiral Hotel Manila - MGallery (Manila, Metro Manila) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In Manila the boutique-hotel wave is yet to crest; the finest hotels in town have long been classic-style grand hotels like the Admiral, a tribute to the city’s Golden Age and its Filipino-Spanish design heritage. It’s a member of Accor’s MGallery collection, which means it’s got a bit of local personality to go with its Art Deco influence, as well as up-to-date in-room comforts like Bose sound systems and Nespresso coffee machines. The Admiral Club restaurant overlooks Manila Bay from the hotel’s rooftop while Ruby Wong’s Godown is the glamorous subterranean bar and lounge." - Tablet Hotels

We recently completed a 5-day ASEAN training program with a 7-day stay at Admiral, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for our delegates. A huge commendation to John and Griffin from the concierge, as well as the entire concierge team—always warm, attentive, and ready to assist. Kesha from Front Office deserves special mention for her efficiency and consistent helpfulness. We would also like to highlight Joshua Binuya, who assisted us almost every day, and Joshua Padilla, who was equally supportive. Thank you as well to Mark, Jude, and the chefs and kitchen team for the excellent meals and service throughout the event. Our technical needs were handled flawlessly by JV and Jordan, while Rosbelle from Events ensured smooth coordination the whole time. And of course, appreciation to John Ver from Sales for his continuous support. Overall, the staff made our entire experience seamless and memorable. We highly recommend Admiral for events, training programs, and long stays. Their team’s professionalism and hospitality truly stand out. Thank you, Admiral Team! We look forward to staying with you again.

Great location, close to everything and only a short ride to MOA. We were upgraded to the Executive room with bay views. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Very grateful for the welcome fruit basket given to us maybe because I'm Accor Platinum. We also had the sumptuous buffet free for Platinum members. We enjoyed the rooftop bar where we watched the sunset over Manila Bay and busy Roxas Blvd. We were able to order drinks that were not on the menu thanks to the talented bartender. Our favourite place to hang out was the Club Lounge in the lobby. The girls were very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Velerie, Mary and Eya who were just so lovely and are great ambassadors for the Admiral Hotel. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. Thank you Admiral! We already booked our return stay here so see you again soon.

Executive Room with Manila Bay View I absolutely loooooove my stay here! The Executive Room facing Manila Bay is simply breathtaking the view alone is worth every moment. Watching the sunset paint the sky right from my window was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The ambience of the room is warm, elegant, and relaxing. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed from the cozy lighting to the comfortable bed and stylish décor. You can really feel the care that went into making guests feel at home. The customer service deserves special mention too! Everyone I encountered was so polite, attentive, and genuinely kind, making my stay even more delightful. Food is so amazing in Admiral Club!!!!! I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, class, and stunning views this is definitely the place to be! - Happy Accor Platinum & Gold members

Beautiful place, great food, fantastic cocktails! Lovely service. Beware, there is a dress code: no sandals, shorts, shoulders. We had to sit outside the main room, but we still enjoyed our visit. Will dress up more next time to have more special experience. Jane, Princess, and Jessica took great care of us.

Service was very slow from the beginning. At check-in, we spent nearly 30 minutes per person. Breakfast was average, but the servers seemed confused and were also very slow. Check-out was similarly inefficient—we spent another 30 minutes there. When we requested a receipt, it took an additional 15 minutes to receive one with inaccurate information. As we were in a rush, we had to follow up via email. It took more than five attempts to finally receive the correct version. In one of my friend’s rooms, there was a disturbing family portrait—apparently of a well-known figure in the Philippines—placed awkwardly above the bed and facing a large mirror. It gave the room a haunted hotel feel. While the breakfast was average, the dining area offered a pleasant ambiance thanks to the natural lighting from the glass ceiling. However, allowing pets in the dining area felt inappropriate and unsanitary.

One of our go-to Accor hotels since Sofitel is out of the picture. Rooms are ok - a little small for my liking but enough to make a comfortable stay. Great service. Love the food at the buffet and in the lounge.

Google
it’s a posh and elevated high-end hotel — classy without being intimidating. I really loved my stay. They even upgraded my room to a beautiful Manila Bay view, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The staff were warm and attentive.definitely worth coming back to.

The concept of the hotel is amazing, especially when it embraces Filipino culture. However, I was utterly disappointed by the service and even the rooms themselves. Of all the 4-5 star hotels I’ve stayed at, this was the worst. It looks lovely to the naked eye, but I’d say the service is up to par of a 2 star hotel. I’ve never had to actually complain about a stay in my life before. We had a room transfer due to function issues, but the second room was worse in a different manner. The AC in our first room was not functioning properly, stuck at 20 at cooling mode, despite many attempts to change the mode and temperature. Our room telephone was not working, so my husband had to go downstairs to make our complaint, ask for a different room, and to provide us some sanitary bags. They made our phone somewhat operational, with the ability to only call the operator. This whole ordeal lasted from around 10:20pm to 12:55am. The operator repeatedly called, asking if we were sure the AC was not working, and initially denied a transfer claiming they were fully booked, which was not true. She called us 3 times to confirm if we wanted a room transfer, in the last one saying that they can have someone fix the AC instead, because they did have rooms but would take 20-30 minutes to clean and set it up. We said we'd take the transfer instead of sitting there uncomfortably as someone configures a thermostat. While waiting, I showered and found the shower head was no longer properly attached, bursting water towards the wall. We were then transferred to the second room, we discovered how dirty the shower floors were, with yellowing caulking and even "privates" hair on the floor. When we asked for the shower floor to be cleaned, the staff said those were stains and could not be cleaned off. We said we'd still like it cleaned please, and he leaves and we think he's off grabbing cleaning supplies. Later, we get a call from the operator, asking if we were sure we wanted to clean it as those were stains. We said yes, and again after 30 minutes, she called confirming if we still wanted it cleaned. We said yes, and the staff came within 2 minutes. The cleaning was subpar. Simple requests like sanitary bags were ignored for over two hours, forcing me to use a shower cap to dispose of sanitary products, and after everything they finally returned with a crumpled plastic bag that seemed like it was snatched off the kitchen floor. As we’re about to turn in for the night, I spot some dark spots on my second pillow placed behind the other one that seemed like mold. You be the judge. The worst thing wasn’t how unkempt it was, rather having to wait for something then being asked multiple times if we were sure about it. Worst stay I've ever had. Would never go back here again, and would not want this experience for anyone else.

Yelp
My original reason for wanting to stay in this hotel was when I once saw a YouTube of the Its stunning lobby lounge featuring a art installation of floating pages as well as a stained glass ceiling. It did not disappoint when view in person and is Instagrammable. The hotel encourages you to hang around in the lobby lounge, they sometimes provide live music, piano playing and light meal and drink options are always available. What I didn't expect was a 5 star luxury suite at bargain basement prices compare to other hotels I have stayed at. The decor of the room is breathtaking, along with VIP Check-in. and services available. I was on the third floor so trees blocked my view of Manila Bay and the boat, yacht Marina. The main restaurant is on the roof, offering both buffet and menu options with a long center table that doubles as a runway for fashion shows. The only negative was the neighborhood, it was a run down and high traffic section of manila. The hotel was originally built in 1939 and known for hosting General Douglas MacArthur. it was renovated in 1922 and perhaps in future planing they will improve the surrounding area from it's current state

Yelp
There's numerous Accor and hotel options to choose from, but something convinced me to stay at this one. Once I got here I understood why my spider senses were correct. The decor was clean and they gave me a welcome drink. The staff was helpful and accommodating. They told they're still in the soft opening stages so only a few floors are open. The decor and ambiance was premium and unique. There was a bar/cafe on the bottom floor if you needed anything before 10pm. Overall this is a great option if your in downtown Manila for a few nights. It's affordable, new and walkable to the mall.

Yelp
Most wonderful stay! The staff is so proffesional and the rooms are cozy. Food was great and the pool area is relaxing although the pool is quite small ( no laps). But it was a great experience
