On the Grid : Admiralteyskaya

"Basically, Admiralteysky district is where the city started more than 3 centuries ago. No place is more stuffed with cultural attractions and museums, along with lively bars and friendly restaurants. It’s the very best place to dive into city’s history and life!" - Hyperakt

Not only is it the deepest metro station in St. Petersburg, but it is also one of the most artistic. One of the stairs takes more than 3 minutes to go from bottom to top while the other takes about 1 minute, the depth is more than 100m, respect to the Russians, this is one of the deepest metro stations in the world. You can imagine the depth of the metro.

Not just the deepest metro station in St. Petersburg, but also one of the most artistic ones. One of the moving stairways took 3 minutes and 20 seconds from bottom to top while the other one was around 1 minute. You can imagine how deep the subway is.

Great place! The most pleasant thing is that you can order two pizzas by the price of the one! It also offers free coffees if you have a promo leaflet and before 6 pm you can get two sushi sets by the price of the one! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing on weekdays! The service is always quick and pleasant!

Definitely one of the deepest stations in the St. Petersburg metro. Open only a few years this station is the closed exit from any station to Palace Square and St. Isaac's cathedral. This station is so deep you have to take two escalators to reach the platform. The murals are lovely in this station and worth a visit.

Metro as a metro but its great to see some pictures that build like puzzles on the walls + the trains come fast and the place is mostly clean , why not 5 stars because there is almost non any market for drink or something also

it is worth a visit, tough built few years ago, it is a really nice example of reinterpretation and sintesys of the styles. it is evident that it has been projected when the oil was 150-odd $. Money well spent anyhow,
