Staff friendly with booking me ground floor room as I was in Cairns for medical day surgery. On arrival staff friendly. Room was clean.
PROBLEMS - very noisy, kids, loud music, restaurant sounds adjoined Room 1. TV wasn't working properly - picture very over bright - adjusting settings didn't improve things so didn't bother using as had ipad.
Bed lumpy and pillows hard. Probably do with replacing. Other rooms may be better. I managed to sleep as super tired.
I found shower floor too slippery to use so has sponge wash on bathmat. Not steady so need very safe flooring.
Wouldn't go again as for $89 a night could get a quote more comfortable room.

The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean, the TV and air con worked and the price was good. What more do you need? However, this property is in need of some TLC. Paint flaking off walls, chipped tiles in the shower, nothing to stir the coffee with, and the TV came on by itself early in the morning. Also very noisy late at night, but that might have come from the motel very close next door.

Absolutely disgusting!
Not what the photos in the internet represents at all!
She greeted us with a ciggy in hand over the balcony. I’m sure she either forgot we were coming or hadn’t fit rooms ready.
Seems to be permanent residents taking up the back of the driveway.
No rooms available for what we actually booked so had to pick out if the last 2 .
No blanket on bed.
Shower head broken & leaking and tap difficult to turn.
Tv remote filthy grimy dirty.
Mirror has grubby marks in it.
Fan seems like it’s about to fall out the ceiling.
Pillows need replaced.
Have stayed in many places but this is tge worst experience.
The restaurant was wonderful and food and staff excellent!
Accommodation is outdated and gross

Management has changed since last review, but nothing much else has. Had my wife with me this time and she doesn't want to go back again, but I would on my own. Still a reasonable place to stay if you are travelling. We got in at 1am after flight delay and left at 9.00am. Check out is 9.30am, which is unusual.

No ID/booking check on arrival. No bin in room. No cutlery. No hair dryer. No batteries in TV remote. Tv had such poor reception we couldn't watch it. Rubbish left in fridge. No pillow on single bed. One blanket didn't have a cover on it. No one was ever at reception. Pretty sub par. Wouldn't recommend.

Do not stay at Adobe unless you are stuck. Was there for a month for work and only got room cleaned once after 12 days after i had to ask them. They will not service your room. Had to go ask for clean towels several times while there, plus buy my own toilet paper. We had other worker's staying there too and they had not had there rooms cleaned at all. Disgusting, never seen anything like it. Jail would of been cleaner.

I couldn't fault Ray on his accommodating our large group. The bedding was perfect and the rooms were clean and tidy. Ray welcomed the guests with great local knowledge and nothing was a problem. The group was a respectful group of young Japanese people and this was their first visit to Australia. Ray impressed them with his kindness. The Adobe Motel is in a great location close to the city with nearby food options and large after hours supermarket. Thanks Ray!

Reasonable budget hotel centrally located in Cairns. Close to CBD. Was a little noisy but overall was clean and tidy. Had a restaurant downstairs (separately managed) which was handy. A swimming pool was available but a little too cold when we visited.
