Adora Luxury Hotel

If you're looking for a romantic luxury hotel overlooking lake Bled, look no further. Our fantastic experience started when we were greeted by the friendly receptionist who offered us a welcome drink and informed us they upgraded our room to the luxury suite free of charge, thank you very much! The room was one of the most beautiful we ever stayed in, with amazing views. Very comfortable bed, coffee machine, L'Occitane toiletries... We had dinner with wine pairing in the hotel restaurant which was lovely as well, food was amazing and the service was superb, the chef came out to introduce himself and to tell us about the menu and the waitress looked after us very well. Overall top marks, we're already planning coming back, can highly recommend.

What a beautiful villa. It’s not large which gives the property so much charm. The staff are so helpful and genuine. Rare in a place as beautiful and therefore as popular with tourists as Lake Bled. ||We came for New Year and the New Year dinner was not only outstanding (chef is amazing) but the atmosphere was perfect. So intimate and personal ||Heavily recommend !

Adora is simply amazing. The views of the lake are stunning, and the hotel is both cozy and elegant. We stayed in the Prestige Suite with lake views and absolutely loved it. Breakfast is delicious, and there is free parking. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great villa style hotel. Very quiet and clean. |Good access to main transportation links just a few steps away getting you into Bled, Ljubljana and other great places. Immediate access to walking the lake too. Small grocery store just a stones throw away too!|Other amenities at this time of year are sparse and with the walkway not accessible direct into Bled some planning needed to be done to get into and out of Bled centre. That being said, the hotel offered a free drop-off and pick-up service throughout the stay during this time which was really great. Would thoroughly recommend this place for a quiet, relaxed feel away from the hustle and bustle.

While the hotel boasts a truly stunning location with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Bled, is it its only standout feature. Waking up to the serene lake scenery was the only highlight. We were disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms and common areas were not cleaned to the standard we expected, which detracted from the comfort of our stay. Our room still had the previous guests water bottles in the fridge and the kettle and coffee machines were both dirty and needed a proper wipe down. The teaspoons and cups were clearly just rinsed or wiped to appear clean. I was served a raw sliced avocado with the skin on to accompany my scrambled eggs. The avo was clearly just a garnish rather than a side order! Our room was serviced daily but with the bare minimum level of cleaning. Our bathroom was wiped down but shelves not cleaned and wiped with water stains from previous use still visible when we returned. The shower has mould along the edges and just not a good look for a 'luxury' hotel. The headboards, chairs, rugs and floors are dusty and corners of the rooms are left to gather dust. Additionally, a pop-up restaurant on-site created a lot of noise and activity late into the evening, making it very difficult to relax or enjoy some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Bled. While the location is unbeatable for lake views, the issues with cleanliness and noise significantly impacted the experience. I hope the management will address these concerns to match the hotel’s beautiful setting with a better guest experience but I'm not convinced. It's certainly NOT a LUXURY boutique hotel!

Honestly speaking if you want to wake up with the mos beautiful view of the lake this is the best place ! The misty mornings and the frozen lakes will drive you to dream lands ! The rooms are spacious and location is near by city center.

Gorgeous hotel with stunning views of Lake Bled. Large, spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Allen/Alen was great - very helpful with lots of great advice. Breakfast is very expensive and very underwhelming. Would not recommend it.

When our dates were unavailable at Vila Adora, we were offered Vila Pomona as an alternative at a similar premium price. Vila Adora appealed to us because of its location on the edge of Lake Bled and quality service, and we assumed Vila Pomona offered a similar experience and was located reasonably close to Vila Adora. Instead, we found ourselves in a house in a back street out of the city centre, and a brisk ten-minute walk down the hill to the lake edge. It is indeed comfortable and newly renovated, and the lovely Anna made us welcome and cooked us a nice breakfast each morning . However, Vila Pomona is otherwise unstaffed so there is no food or drinks service available for the rest of the day and communication with Hotel Adora reception is via WhatsApp.
