The really high quality of the food and service plus the really unique and uplifting art and decor was such a huge surprise. Not that my expectations were low but even if they were really high they were blown away. I ordered steak tacos expecting what I’m used to but the food was so incredibly high quality that it was the best and most unique version of steak tacos that I’ve ever had. And the passion fruit mousse was heaven. I was already full but wanted to try it because I’d never heard of it/-and it was insane. It was perfectly chilled with a light, creamy but fluffy texture and paired with the dark cherries toppings (and I don’t even like cherries) it was absolute perfection. I’m still in shock at this place as we just randomly decided to check it out after a dentist appointment that was across the street And then on top of our amazement at this pace was the reasonable prices. You get so much for what you’re paying for but it’s such incredibly high quality, well plated food. Even the silverware was really high end. The cherry on top was the gorgeous patio which is perfect for a beautiful day. They have events, karaoke and fun stuff outside and sever burgers and more American type food on the patio since it fits that setting. But what an unexpected joy to find this place. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer and as a droid foodie I would strongly recommend it to anyone that loves food, excellent service and a beautiful tranquil but modern atmosphere.

Everything was so delicious!! Highly recommend the enchiladas (we added carnitas) and tacos de pastor. The passionfruit dessert was the cherry on top of an amazing lunch. Our waiter was very attentive and let us in a couple minutes before they opened. Will definitely return!!

Wonderful friendly service, delicious cocktails, cute patio and absolutely mouth watering food! We thought we’d have a ton of leftovers from our order but it was so delightful we savored extra bites. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot.

The big platter (forgot the name) was 10/10. Every single item on it was 10/10. Tacos and ceviche were 8/10. Super nice server. Free chips and salsa with free refills. Great prices. I will certainly be coming back to try their other dishes. This place certainly deserves its high rating

This restaurant was nothing short of phenomenal. The food and service were incredible. The Guacamole and Al Pastor were the best I have had. The drinks could rival the best craft cocktail bars in Chicago. Don’t let the location and humble atmosphere fool you. This is one of the top locations in Chicago. The prices are so reasonable I felt like I got a bargain. They also serve breakfast and I am definitely going back to try it out.

Amazing meal, great taste and good options. Álvaro was really nice and attentive, great service. They had a spicy smoky salsa morita which made my meal as a spicy eater. Also had the chuleta, papas cabrai, arepa, tacos vegetarianos. Good music and chill vibes. Also bathrooms are super clean and nicely designed! Also, the portion sizes were solid for the cost. Left very full.

First time here and I would say I had a good time here. The service was great. She was very friendly and gave out good drink options. The only reason I’m giving this place a 4 star is because the certain dishes on the menu doesn’t match up to the meals. For example the churros ice cream dish didn’t say it would come with berries but it did. Ice cream wasn’t that fresh tasty, it taste like freezer burn a little. I also got this steak dish. Potato’s were cook perfectly and salad on the side were perfect! The steak on the other hand was rubbery and fully cooked when I ask for medium well. I also wish they had worn us that the steak was extremely spicy!! I felt bad bothering the girl for water. But over all flavor was there for the steak texture and tenderness was not. My drink was good and flavorful. I would come back here with friends next time now I know what time get or try differently next time.

I came to eat here with some friends and we sat out in the patio. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was great! The music was also a vibe. Def recommend!

My friends and I stumbled across this hole in the wall and were pleasantly amazed. The service was the most amazing experience I had in Chicago (visiting from Texas). Every dish my table ordered was completely delicious. We had the fried pulpo as and appetizer and it's was crispy and fresh. The steak aguachile was cooked to perfection. The tacos de carnitas were tender and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the enchiladas verdes and quinoa salad with steak. We visited on a Friday night and were surprised that not many table were taken up because the food, service, and beautiful aesthetic of the restaurant make it a great place for dinner or girls night.

It was our first time. We read some good reviews online and decided to try it for date night. No regrets. The service was excellent. Our food was fresh and delicious. The pineapple smoothie was not on par with the food. It was too icy which gave it a watery taste. But the tortilla chips and green salsa were delicious. It's a clean and spacious environment as well. We will be back to try the mango mousse.

I adore adoro. It's the new spot on West of North Ave. You find the usual from tacos to guacamole, but they have smoothies too. At the moment, no hot/espresso drinks, but they are adding it soon. Come try the new spot in the hood

The food, service, and ambiance are all great. We had a lovely meal on the patio. The carnitas tacos and camarones sarandeados were both delicious. Truly had my socks knocked off for dessert, however- the mousse de mango con salsa de frutos rojos y chamoy was delicate but flavorful, with a symphony of textures. I also recommend an amaretto orange juice drink which was not yet on the menu- maybe it will be when you read this review! Muy sabor, gracias!

OMG! Adoro is the afternoon lunch you didn't know you needed. The food is 10/10, service 10/10, ambiance 10/10. This is such a great neighborhood escape. We stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food is amazing we had the chicharron de pulpo, absolutely delicious, cocktails were great and well balanced, highly recommend the camarones sarandeados, sooo good. Husband had the tacos de carnitas and papas cambrai. The patio is so cute, great for summer, the building was hand painted in front along with the paintings inside, Danya our server was so sweet. We will definitely be back, such a cool urban oasis. Definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed. Also, great place for pescatarians? We will definitely return.

They just opened 2 weeks ago and we wanted to try it out! The back patio is super cute and dog friendly the service was really good, drink and food were ready so quickly which was appreciated. We ordered the mango spicy margarita (could have been a little more spicy), passion fruit smoothie (was a little too sweet), carnitas tacos, and Al pastor tacos. We would honestly order everything again!

The place blew my mind and expectations. My wife and I went there for lunch out of curiosity and we were very impressed. The food is very well portioned and has the flavor. We ordered the ceviche, guac and chips, seafood rice, and aguachile steak. All of the food was delicious. We will be going back again.

So excited for Adoro to join the neighborhood. The patio space is so cute and charming. Everything we ordered was delicious - some favorites were the paloma cocktail, the ceviche and the esquites appetizer. The service was great and everyone we interacted with was very kind.
