Adra Antigua

Amazing place. They have incredible prices for drinks (happy hour offers - around 2-3 euros per drink). Nice atmosphere, nice music (the DJ is great), fun and great salsa clases. Loved it❤️

It's as the others say, it's essentially a bar / restaurant with some rooms on the sides. At times it can be quiet-ish, but they are happy to play loud music in the common area which makes it difficult to rest in the rooms. Also there are no indoors common areas. You can only sit outdoors so I hope you like the cold.

Came to Antigua from the states, this time for R&R. To rest my mind, be around a different culture and environment. Was met with an excellent staff, attentive, very nice, and some of the hardest workers around. I enjoyed the comfort of the sleep cube, that has a fan, light, shelf, and outlet. Has storage drawers under. Lots to say about their beautiful greenery, decorations, and ambiance. I'll let the pics do the talking.

They said the shuttle would be 30 - 45 minutes late. It ended up being a whole hour late and when asking reception they kept misinforming us saying it’d be “5 more minutes” every 15 minutes lol. You need to understand that people have check ins to do at other places and a one hour delay does matter. There needs to be clear, transparent communication if there will be a delay. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food and service was great, but the shuttle services seem like they need better organization to account for traffic and definitely clearer communication.

It’s an okay hostel. It should be a beautiful building but unfortunately they’ve decorated it with quite tacky neon signs and furniture that overshadows the history of the building. It’s also a 3pm check in time which is relatively late compared to other hostels so if you’re returning from the volcano hike, it can be quite a long wait. The beds are extremely comfortable though and have curtains so you can choose to be as social or unsocial as you’d like. I stayed in low season so there wasn’t much going on and didn’t seem to have any social activities that could help you to meet other solo travellers. It’s not a bad hostel but there are definitely other hostels in town which are more social and lean into the more historical beauty of their own buildings.

The hostel is ok and staff is nice but please be aware that super loud music is on all day and night! A true nightmare for someone that is searching to rest after a long travel. Would not book again !

Great, very clean hostel with a nice rooftop, delicious breakfast, and helpful, attentive staff. A few fun activities happen weekly, but mostly not a super social hostel

This is half hostel half restaurant. Great food and super fast Wi-Fi. When getting a dorm bed ask for the penthouse suite. There's standing room up there and a chair.
