I called before making the online booking and was clearly told that I didn’t need to do anything else and that I would receive a confirmation letter. I booked the tour, received the confirmation within 1–2 days, and trusted that everything was handled.
This was a surprise for my wife for our 25th anniversary—a moment we can never get back. We were literally standing at the airport, excited and waiting, when I suddenly received a call from the helicopter tour company saying they had no information about us at all. None.
How is that even possible? What is the purpose of a confirmation letter if it means absolutely nothing?
It is your responsibility to communicate with the tour company and ensure they receive the booking details—not send an email into the void and consider the job done.
You completely ruined what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime day for us. This is unacceptable.
