Unfortunately, this location is not at their best anymore. The outdoor dining by the sea still seems great but, the food quality and portions have decreased considerably. Most recent visit was during the holidays when there’s an influx of tourists and expats so, we were expecting it to be busy but, the service was simply terrible. The staff were very polite and apologized for the service but, for such a longstanding institution in the city, they should know better.

The view is amazing! You are able to enjoy a meal while looking out over the ocean and at the beautiful coastline. The food is good, but not great. The servers are very nice, but the service itself is a little slow, even for the Dominican Republic. I'd recommend visiting at least once, just to take in that view.

Sunday at 12:15 pm I entered the restaurant. An overworked but very polite waitress, took my order for a tropical juice and eggs, chicharrones. Waited 45 minutes for food. Fries cold. Asked for ketchup. Ketchup arrived too late & it's watery. Too sweet. On the positive side mangu was good and the sea view and sounds are relaxing. Plus the sea breath. Best thing was the amazing service of the overworked waitress serving eight tables. Still impressed by very professional and never lost her composed demeanor. The tropical juice drink was great. Only a block from where I am staying so perfect location

We arrived late after a long flight and with a large group. We were seated fairly quickly overlooking the ocean. QR code menus were provided which was difficult for some of the older people in our group. The waitress who spoke little English was very helpful despite some language barriers (I speak a little Spanish). It did take a while for our orders to come out but we did have a large party so I will guess that is why, no biggie because the food was worth the wait! Everything was delicious. The fried red snapper was my favorite and seasoned perfectly. The sample board was a great appetizer for 8 ppl to share and try a little of everything. The red sangria was yummy. This was a great introduction to Dominican food for my family who was visiting me for the first time. We also had a birthday at midnight and they brought out dessert and sang. It was a great kick off to our family vacation in Santo Domingo.

Horrible service. We waited over an hour for our drinks and food. I ordered the seafood spaghetti, and it was awful. The seafood had a crust on it, as if it had been sitting out, and the dish was cold when it arrived. When I told her the spaghetti had a mosquito in it she looked I me like I was dumb and asked what mosquito. When I pointed it out she took the plate.

Looking at the reviews about service and waiting times. Absolutely true. The food was good but nothing worth waiting one hour and 20 minutes. So if you want to go there just make sure you are prepared that someone takes your order and never comes back to check on you. The apologies about the wait time was basically why are you complaining feel lucky that you got served. One thing is certain for our family visiting for the first time from out of town, we are definitely not going back to this place ever again.

Great location, beautiful view of the water and the sound of the wave is amazing. Food was not that good. We had the Fried rice, the chicken soup and chicken tenders.

I like this restaurant just because The ocean view 🌊😍The food and drinks are good and affordable…it’s hard to find a parking at the restaurant but is parking at the street… the Service is not good because no one welcome you … took me 5 min or more to get a table and they took 15 min plus to take your order plus 30-35 to bring it…si eres amante del picante 🌶️ el mejor picante lo tienen ellos 🥵 🌶️ 🔥
