Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill

Adriatic is one of my daughter’s favorite restaurants. Food and service is always good at any location we go to. We ordered cheese garlic sticks which came with marinara sauce, medium veggie pizza and Tortellini pasta from the kids menu. Everything came out prepared fresh and delicious. The complimentary bread is always fresh out of the oven and yummy! For dessert we ordered the choc cheese cake which was good but could have been less sweet.

We ordered alex specialty and spaghetti. They were good. The Alex was little bit spicy for some. Great customer service. I was expecting the bread abit sweet, but it wasnt. It's a garlic bread free. It was abit busy but food came out quick and hot. Their tables are too small for their plates 😀. Free garlic bread, 2 entrees, 1 beer, 1 fried calamari (happy hour price for appetz) total was $43 (including tax) so that's not bad! We will be back. 5 stars because of the customer service if not 4 stars.

Honestly some of the best chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had! The mozzarella sticks were very soft and delicious, the focaccia bread was to die for! My 9 year old and I both ordered the chicken Alfredo and just know I hope you brought your stretchy pants on because you will leave feeling like you ate a weeks worth and with left overs! Ledor our waiter was very kind and attentive for our very first visit. We will most definitely be back!!

Our server Rigers was absolutely amazing very polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. We felt very welcomed and he took great care of us. The appetizer he recommended was delicious, and we truly enjoyed all the other food items we ordered as well. Everything was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

The food and environment were great. The service was awesome, and the restaurant has a very warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Prices are very affordable as well. Highly recommended!

Came here to meet up with some friends! Came on a Thursday weekday and the night was packed. Our server was so sweet and attentive, other tables celebrated a birthday. I got the namesake pasta and the Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken and especially the handmade bread rolls were so good! Big portions, good food with cherished friends, I would come back here and bring my family for them to try out and for me to explore the menu! Thank you!

The food and atmosphere was good. I order the meat Ravioli. It was slightly undercooked but the sauce was spot on 👌. I also order the Diablo shrimp and flavor was perfect with the perfect amount of heat. The sauce was a red sauce and not the usual Alfredo sauce,which was a surprise but better than I thought it would be. I would definitely tell recommend this place to everyone looking for italian foods at a good price.

Went as a family and ordered 2 pizzas. They were so delicious. Even the bread they give you easily beats any other bread that you get at other restaurants. Very friendly service and the decor was really nice. Can't wait to come back for more.

This was our first time dining here. It was a great experience overall. Family atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Over server, Joshua was professional and attentive. Hardworking young man! We recommend Adriatic Cafe for good Italian pasta and will return to try other menu items!

Asked for ranch dressing, got something else. Ordered chicken cacciatore, got the spaghetti "the works" with a big meatball and sliced sausage and meat sauce. Waitress disappeared, so I took it to the kitchen. Waitress came and said another server took mine. Manager shrugged and said people make mistakes. Three were made: 1 server took the wrong dish, 2d server brought the wrong dish, 3-the manager's vocabulary doesn't include the words, "I'm sorry." Chicken when I got it was overcooked and tough--a chicken breast thrown into the sauce.

Absolutely phenomenal. Everything was perfect from the employees to the love and detail of their food. I'm not a fan of cheessticks though these were so fresh they almost fall apart with loving melted cheese when you reach for one. The entrees give you a feeling you are sitting right in Sicily. Best Italian restaurant I have had in a long time. Pure bliss for Italian food lovers. My mouth is watering just writing this.

The food came out in a timely manner and was a great temperature. I enjoyed my Manicotti and side Cesar salad. The server (Artir) was attentive without being disruptive. It was busy for a Sunday night but was a pleasant atmosphere. Clean, family friendly.

What a hidden gem! This is our new favorite Italian spot. The food portions are great sizes for an amazing price. We typically order their baked ziti and pasta with red sauce and it never disappoints. Their bread is amazing too, never skip on that! Their staff has been friendly every time and the food comes out fairly quick. Definitely a go to spot to check out!

We moved to the area last year and had been trying out different places . Read all the good reviews so we decided to give this a go- very surprised but in a not good way. Pluses- It's an independent structure along side of freeway so it's relatively easy access with plenty of parking. We got seated right away during dinner rush and our wait staff was very attentive. The decor is very typical of like a casual dining place but doesn't feel crowded. Negatives- I am not sure how anyone can say that this is the best Italian food they have ever had. Maybe we went on an off day,however, we did not enjoy the food. We had calamari and fried mozzarella as appetizers, which I thought was pretty standard. However, the calamari tasted a bit like freezer burn and was very hard, not like a true tender crunch. We also had a kid meatball spaghetti, and 2 other pasta dish- they are decent portions and we took a lot home but they all tasted the same in the sense they you can taste clearly the tomato sauce ( duh) but don't have a lot of other flavors. Unfortunately, the verdict from us is that we would rather visit a chain like Carrabba's. Again, it can very well be what we prefer.

We seem to be on a downward trend again after many years going here. Our service tonight was AWFUL, for the first time ever. After the THIRD time another server has to find you, one might pay better attention. Alas it was not meant to be. Chicken parm was HAMMERED. Shrimp were puny and undercooked. Even the chocolate cheesecake was overly dry.

Update: it's been about a year since I ate here. And I remember thinking it was really good, and we even got it to go one time and I think the bread is amazing. It's unique. But this last time we went on kids eat free day and when he brought me my ticket, the kids meal price was still on there. So I told him and asked for some bread to go, and he took the ticket away, but he came back and the price of kids meal was still on there. Like he hadn't changed it at all. But also, did not get my salad with my beef lasagna which is didn't realize until looking at menu later, it was supposed to be included. Just overall, not impressed with this trip. Think it may be a stop and grab some bread to go only kinda place from now on. Their kids cheese pizza is good though.

Tried this restaurant over the weekend. Food was good. Service was good as well. The place is good size and plenty to space to sit. Food pricing was decent. Overall a good experience and will probably come back.

Great service, great portion sizes, chill ambiance. Went here on a double date with some friends. We were seated as soon as we came in, it was around 3pm on a Sunday and wasn't too busy. Got our drinks quickly and we were checked on consistently to see if we were ready to order. We ordered a garlic bread as an appetizer and I thought it was fantastic. For myself I ordered the penne alla vodka. It's not the best I've ever tried, simply put it lacked a bit in flavor. It's not unique enough for me to bring up if I were to think of vodka pasta that I've loved. It was yummy though, and seeing as the portions are huge I had plenty to take home for a late night dinner. I'd be willing to come back and try more of their menu though (they do have LOTS of options) since our friends have gone to this place atleast a few times and enjoy it. The grilled chicken I added to my pasta was very yummy though! All 4 of us did enjoy our meal. Waitress was really nice, checked on us every now and then. Didn't get loud inside at all even though it did get a little busy as we were having our meal. Place is also well lit and looked clean throughout.

Not sure if our server was new or didn't care to be at work today. More than one order was incorrect. He didn't come and check on us for 30+ minutes. Restaurant was empty- so where was he? The bread was good and the AC worked.

My first time experience was wonderful. We had little chat with the manager and the server was great. So tonight I came back and brought my parents with me. We ordered more this time, we had the calamari, all meat pizza, chicken carbonara. Baked ziti and beef lasagna. Honestly, everything tastes SALTY. We didn't realize until mid and our throat beginning to feel something is off. We had to drink a lot of water. What happened Adriatic? Including the bread we thought it's sprinkled with sugar but it's salt as well. Our server was great, but I feel like the food was a disappointment tonight. Sigh

Nice atmosphere and my meals have been good every time I've gone. Pretty consistent. Fair pricing and service is good.

Consistency is key. Tried this location as we usually go to the Katy one and they did not disappoint. House salad, pasta sampler, pasta primavera with fettuccine pasta and that bread! OMgeeee! Will keep coming back.

I owe Adriatic Cafe an apology. After flying and traveling from the East Coast all day, I was finally home. I was hungry. I ordered DoorDash from Adriatic Cafe'. Apparently, I did not read the menu closely. I was expecting just Marinara with Mushrooms but received got a meat-laden spaghetti, complete with meat sauce, a huge meatball, and sausage...and mushrooms. I was really disappointed. (Doh! The dish I ordered was called Spaghetti The Works!?!?) I will say -- once I picked out the sausage and the meatball -- I enjoyed the spaghetti. By the way, their garlic twist bread and the perfectly crafted Cannoli are heavenly! I probably will order again. This time I'll pay a little closer attention to the menu descriptions. Not their fault that I didn't read the menu closely.

First time here with the family, and we'll definitely be coming back. The bread basket we got was completely full and the bread is so go that we all got filled up on the bread. Service was OK, but the food was great. The off-menu stuffed flounder was the hit of dinner. Pizza was decent, and the kids options were plentiful an just the right size for kids. Atmosphere was a little loud when the dining area was full, and unfortunately, they turned the music up so loud we couldn't hear the person next to us to have a decent conversation (then they turned it up even more halfway through the meal).

This place has GREAT food and service! I've only been here once and plan to go back again. My expectations for the food were exceeded by a mile. My mother told me it was good but I didn't know it was that good. I highly recommend trying it.

This is a newish Italian restaurant right off I-10. The menu was well laid out and had lots of choices. Went there with a group of 8 and we didn't ask for Separate checks. I had the chicken picatta and also ordered a salad. They brought some very good bread for the table and when it was gone they brought more. They brought the entrees. I told my server to never mind with the salad since I had the entree. He came back and said it was on the pass and no one brought it out. The entree was ok, you expect it to be very lemony and have capers it was neither. It was actually very bland. So when we were done and before the check came an employee brought the gray bin around and bussed the table. He did it on several other table that still guests I found this very unusual. Maybe it's a new crew. I won't go out of my way to eat here. There's other very good Italian in the area.

Food was amazing. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. Chicken was juicy. This is first Italian we have been to that I love their bread.

We have always had a good experience here. Service was good, good portions are huge. More than enough to take home with you because I can never finish it all. I love their garlic knots. They are the best and always fresh. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Never had a bad experience

We went to Adriatic with a large group from our retirement community. There was a delay in seating us as they had not set up the table correctly to allow seniors with canes and limited walking skills. They squeezed the group into the main dining room where the table and chairs would so tightly placed that there wasn't enough room to even get seated. The frustration was due to their not be prepared for us, even though multiple calls had been made from our facility explaining customer limitations. They then decided to move us to their roomier area for groups and large parties. It's unfortunate that this happened because the food and drinks were excellent. The bread delicious. Our waiter was very good in keeping the orders straight. He really could have used some help. It took close to 1 1/2 hours for us all to receive our food.

The food and services are always amazing. Sergio made sure we were well taken care of and was very attentive.

The food was good and the prices were really good. We were 5 people and we paid around 100$ for everything. Service was great and the vibe was very relaxed and nice. It didn't really taste Italian but it was for sure the best food I've had in Katy so far

This was the best Italian I've had in a really long time. The garlic knots were cooked perfectly! The salmon dish was divine, also cooked deliciously. The penne had the perfect texture. And the service was exceptional! Excellent ambiance indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend!

The garlic rolls are to-die-for!! I wanted the marinara to have more flavor but the noodles were cooked well. The chicken Alfredo is also very tasty!

I tried the lunch pasta sampler which had, Lasagna, Ravioli and Manicotti. Everything came out so close together on the plate covered in the same sauce and cheese that you only really got one flavor. I actually couldn't tell one from the other. The service was good and so was the bread. I will definitely give them another try. I may have ordered the wrong thing.

Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill I definitely will recommend this place This beautiful restaurant has a upscale vibe in a small space compared to bigger restaurants that serve the same type of delicious food. I had spaghetti on my mind today and I was set on finding the best place around and their reviews did not let me down. The food here is delicious, the staff was very patient and willing to serve. The bread rolls where the hidden gem that I was not expecting. At the end I was on the lunch time menu and the price was perfect for the meal that I received . Definitely worth taking your time out of your precious day and enjoying the lunch or dinner at this nice establishment.

WHAT on earth is this place - GIANT portions of food that taste amazing and you have to go in and ask for Aubrey . She is totally amazing and adds to the experience . She is my new favorite person. I'm not even kidding - she's super awesome . The food is enormous and tastes like your good old Nona cooked this in her kitchen and brought it to your table .

Zuppa de pesce (5/5) subbed linguine for angel hair pasta. SO. GOOD. Favorite thing from this restaurant so far!

We stumbled upon this place while on a road trip. Delicious! Service was excellent and our food was really good. I got The Chefs Special which was yummy. We will definitely stop again when driving to Houston.

This place is solid. The bread they bring out is probably one of the best things they have. Makes them unique. Other than that it's pretty average Italian food. Obviously a step above Olive Garden but not the best we've ever had.

We flew into Houston area to drive to San Antonio to chase the total solar eclipse last month. On our drive, we stopped at Adriatic Cafe after refueling at Buc-ee's next door. Wow! We were impressed! The garlic knots were amazing. I hear som many people rave about Olive Garden's breadsticks but I find them just ok. These were so soft and wonderful! I had a sausage pizza which was great! I actually forget what my son and wife had but they loved theirs as well. The dining room was nice. Our server was attentive and our meals arrived in an expected amount of time. I also think the prices were great for what we ordered. I will definitely remember Adriatic Cafe and will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Oh, a funny thing: while we were enjoying our wonderful meal, we noticed a picture on the opposite wall. Our other son had been in Italy for Spring Break and sent us a picture from Cinque Terre a few days prior. As we looked at the picture, we noticed it was the same pic! So cool!

We came here with a large group and couldn't believe the excellent service we received! The decor is pretty average, but the chicken parmigiana was the best we've had, and we're not normally fans of it! It was a perfect balance of meat to breading to cheese to sauce, unlike most that seem to be nothing but soggy breading. Kuddos to the chefs!

Aiden and Gabby were the best servers/bartenders ever! Loved the Alex Special and Chicken Marsala. Very delicious! Would dine here again, such an amazing staff. Even the boss came by and checked on me! Also the garlic bread is to die for if you're a vampire. Very scrumptious!

Ordered veggie pizza and grilled salmon, both were great, the ambiance and food were amazing.

My 1st visit here was about an hour before closing and I have to admit the service was soooooo great as if the was the beginning of the day. I cannot remember the amazing waiter name and he was soooo good I almost want to drive all the way there to get his name. Lol The food and recommendations were amazing Wings- I was not to fond of them because they reminded me of wings from Tyson frozen section. They were not nasty but I like fried wings with batter so I should have asked. The fresh rolls are to die for but be sure to know when you asked for the olive oil, garlic and basil is $3.00. As I looked over the menu I recognized it was there so I should have read the menu. Pasta sampler was absolutely my favorite it is lasagna, manicotti with ricotta cheese and ravioli topped with marinara and fresh Parmesan cheese. However I don't believe it is enough for $14.00. You get one square of lasagna and one each of manicotti and ravioli. Let's not forget about the amazing drink "Adriatic Kiss" it was soooo good.

I am a regular at Adriatic Cafe in Katy .. the service is incredible. I enjoy the nice bar area. I overheard another customer that was unhappy due to the manager not coming by more than once to attend to their dessert issue after telling the staff that a 2nd visit wasn't needed. This particular manager, Shkurta, is always attentive to customers and takes great care of her staff. She resolved the complaint and was busy serving other customers. I was disturbed to see the interaction as the customer was leaving but Shkurta was professional. I wish people would show more grace to staff doing their best. I'll continue to highly recommend Adriatic Cafe!

food was good, but terrible catering experience day-of; recommended Adriatic to my wife's employer and Adriatic totally dropped the ball on a 250+ person, $3k order. Showed up 30 mins late; didn't bring the food in; made the company get carts and haul it all inside; delivery person never helped or even stepped off the curb; added a ton of stress in the middle of a very busy holiday luncheon major blow to multiple reputations who stuck their necks out to make this happen

THE BEST GARLIC BREAD IN THE WORLD! Adriatic is one of our safe dining options when we can't decide on what to eat. We know our experience will be delicious every time. Our go tos are the chefs special, chicken madeira (its do delicious) and the calamari. Surprisingly this place is always very busy but we have never had to wait to be seated which for us is such a plus!

Stopped here on my way to Austin. I didn't want anything heavy so I chose the Build Your Own Pasta with linguine, olive oil, garlic, and basil sauce, and grilled chicken. This dish was so good. The chicken was seasoned very well. The garlic bread was soft, warm, and tasty. The young lady I had as my server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

A tad upset they don't take reservations. However, the food and the service more than make up for it. Quick and efficient. I and the Alex special and added Italian sausage. Family had to roll me out of there. So good.

Adriatic Cafe has been a staple in my family for a long time! Like 7-8 years. The portions are massive and you will always have leftovers, which in my opinion is a 2 for 1 deal (although some people out there don't like leftovers, I call them weirdos). The bread with the olive oil sauce is bomb! The Alex special is always a good choice and "secret menu" tortellini alla panna adult sized with grilled chicken on top is a good one too! The pizza is a good option as well if you're feeling something different! The reason for a 4 instead of a 5 star review is that, preferably I like to get lighter pasta dishes at Italian places and here there are more heavier and creamier dishes. If there was a wider variety I would give it a 5 out of 5 because I would eat there more often. Unfortunately I have to space out eating there because of the heaviness haha. Great great great place to eat though!

Good food and a very good gluten free selection. We enjoyed this restaurant with a party of six. The service was great and the food excellent. Two of our party have gluten allergies and they really enjoyed their dishes

Ambiance is good. This place is similar to the Olive Garden. The food is decent and so is the service. One thing we noticed is that portion sizes looked way smaller than our last visit. My chicken parmigiana was decent but the chicken itself was bland. The marinara that was used didn't have much flavor. I would definitely recommend the Alex Special. This is one pasta dish that stands out from others that we've tried. It was simply delicious. The limoncello marscapone cake is my favorite and must try.

Good food, good service, but don't go on Monday nights because kids eat free...it's a loud madhouse.

Calm and relaxing ambiance, amazing food and great prices and service! The grilled chicken is tender and juicy, salads are huge portions, the marinara and pasta are delicious and of course the bread...is addicting! Biggest problem is not eating all the bread before your meal. Our server Lena was very kind and attentive. Will definitely be coming back and asking for her.

Nice restaurant on the side of i-10 out in Katy. I've seen this for a while but never tried it until today. It did not disappoint. They have a full drink and food menu. I don't drink, but for those who do, you will not be disappointed with your options. The food menu had it sections, each one with amazing optioms for beef, veal, chicken, shrimp, or vegetarian. They also had several pizza options along with dessert. The dining room was open, spacious, and clean which gave it a great ambiance. They also have a side with a full bar if you are looking to get in and out sooner I can't say enough about the service. I sat on the other side of the restaurant and my server was a tall and beautiful ginger haired lady named Aubrey. She was very professional, personable, and knew the menu inside and out. She struck up great conversation and ensured I was upsold with some of her recommendations. They did not disappoint. Ordered the Tortellini Alfredo with Shrimp and the Beef Lasagna. Food was served with garlic knot type bread which was very good, even better when dipped in my Alfredo sauce. The sauce - best sauce I've had at a restaurant. Overall, was seated immediately, served quickly, and tended to hand and foot for a velvet white glove experience. I will definitely be back with friends and family - and will ensure I ask for Aubrey by name and sit in her section. Thank you so much
