Set in a stunning location, with the most fabulous views from every room, the position of this hotel would be hard to beat. The rooms (we had a two bedroom villa) are immaculate, modern and comfortable with great aircon and spacious en-suite bathrooms. As other reviews have mentioned, the showers are a little unpredictable, flitting from searingly hot to freezing cold, due to water pressure issues, but a small thing easily managed with perseverance and vigilance. There is a coffee maker and a fridge in each room, with bottled water supplied daily, and daily housekeeping with towel & linen changes. Robes weren’t provided, as advertised, which was a shame, but toiletries were nice and there were slippers.|The sea-water pool was lovely and quiet (though in need of a bit of TLC to replace missing tiles etc) & the lifeguard was an absolute delight, keeping an eye on safety whilst ensuring guests were well looked after. I really enjoyed chatting to her each day.|There is a small, pebble beach with plenty of sunbeds and parasols to go around, and a drinks and snacks service from the beach bar directly to your sunbed - so spoiled!! The water is warm and crystal clear and the beach is awarded a coverted blue flag.|Breakfast was absolutely adequate - not the enormous choice you get in some big hotels, but plenty, and great omelettes and pancakes cooked fresh to order.|The lunch and dinner restaurants were good, again in lovely settings, with a reasonable choice of dishes & you can also walk into Panormos (about 10 minutes away) and go to several beachside tavernas for a lovely evening meal beside the water.|One drawback at Adrina Redort was the absence of a bar to enjoy an evening drink, other than in the restaurant where everyone is eating. We found this quite unusual for a high end hotel, and it does limit evening activities. It would have been good to meet friends and family there, relax after your day, have a drink, chat, play cards etc., but there isn’t really anywhere to go to socialise in the evenings. But this is a very quiet place, with a family focus, and I guess not geared up for those looking for bars / evening entertainment etc..|Service is generally good throughout the resort, though there was certainly a sense that Greek guests (I would guess possibly the majority of the clientele) were favoured / prioritised over those from the U.K. We didn’t feel particularly welcomed, but everyone was polite nonetheless.|We were disappointed that staff on a number of occasions monopolised the ‘funicular’ lift (the only way of getting from the bottom to the top of the resort set into a steep hill, except for a lot of steps) leaving us waiting for some time, despite seeing that we were approaching / waiting. In a resort where customer service is key, I would have expected staff would to have stepped aside to let guests ride. Again, only a small thing, but it just niggled.|In summary, if you are looking for a beautiful setting and clean, comfortable surroundings for a quiet getaway, this may be the ideal resort. If you are looking for activities and an opportunity to socialise with friends and family, this may not offer quite enough to ‘tick the box’. I would return for the beauty of the setting, the views to die for and the comfortable surroundings, but next time not as a family, who needed just a little more going on.
