Scammed by Staff, Dismissed by Owner - Avoid Aduanipa!
I visited Aduanipa on 10th January and had an absolutely horrendous experience. I ordered what I thought was a simple fried rice (check check fried rice) and was quoted 170 cedis, which I paid without question as it was my first time there. Later, I found out from friends that I had been overcharged by 100 cedis, a blatant scam.
I went back the same night to resolve the issue, and the staff assured me I would get a refund the following morning. Shockingly, no refund ever came. When I called the owner, she was rude and dismissive, claiming the “mistake” was on my end and insisting her staff would never overcharge a customer.
Let’s be clear, this isn’t about the money. It’s about integrity and how you treat your customers. Aduanipa clearly does not value its customers and handles complaints with arrogance and disrespect. I am disgusted by this experience and will never step foot in this place again.
Avoid this place if you value honesty and basic customer service.
