★★★★★ A Perfect Winter Basecamp - Experienced the First Snowfall! We loved our stay at Adventure Guesthouse Interlaken! It is the perfect, vibrant hub for exploring everything the Jungfrau region has to offer. A huge standout was the free breakfast—a real bonus in Switzerland! It's well-prepared and ready to fuel your morning adventures. We appreciated that the staff was attentive; when the ham and cheese ran out, the chef promptly prepared more. A little patience goes a long way, and it's worth it for a fresh, replenished spread. The atmosphere is social and welcoming, with clean and comfortable rooms. A small note for travelers: be prepared for stairs to access the rooms, which can be a consideration if you have very heavy luggage. For us, it was a minor trade-off for everything else offered. And the location is absolutely excellent. It truly is the ideal basecamp. Just a 10-minute walk from Interlaken West train station, you have incredible connectivity. Our stay was made even more magical as we experienced the landscape transform from no snow to the season's first snowfall filling the roads and mountains. Surrounded by the breathtaking views, we enjoyed watching paragliders drift down on clear days and the pristine snowy silence after the storm. For its price, the combination of free breakfast, great location, and friendly service offers outstanding value. We highly recommend Adventure Guesthouse Interlaken to any traveler looking for a practical, fun, and well-situated spot for their Swiss adventures, in any season

It is a lovely, cozy hotel! We really liked our 2 nights experience in this place. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They put a hot drinks station and tiny fridge on each floor. Really recommend it🥰

Everything about the hotel was very basic. The only item provided in the bathroom was a broken hand wash dispenser. There was no elevator, and the breakfast was very simple. The fridge, hot water, tea, and coffee were shared, and there was no safety box in the room. Despite all this, the price was as high as hotels in Switzerland that offer much better quality.

Adventure Guest House = Interlaken Excellent Accommodation|Chose Adventure guest house due to location [10mins from station] we had a Swiss travel pass ad spent two weeks on most of the scenic trains and lots of interesting places.|That said; this was a special and superb base- the location +++; the welcome and arrival was friendly and helpful. We used the free luggage storage. The free wifi was great, the room was pristine, lovely hot shower, comfy beds/ warm duvets and lots of UK channels on the TV. |Good towels and toiletries, drying rack and lights- plugs in awkward places but that’s normal and not a real problem. The coffee station outside our room 3 was a great plus. |Books & games in the breakfast room/ common area.|Breakfast was continental++ such a magnificent selection from ground coffees to fresh fruits/ breads and most everything you could wish for and more besides.|The big PLUS [and a pity not mentioned in the booking info] is the full kitchen= cooker/hob/oven/microwave/fridge utensils etc are available for you to use providing you clear away.|Would definitely recommend and return. For the price, everything was good. Location was quiet and the host was very easy to chat to. Good stash of coffee and tea plus a fridge was great. Get morning breakfast. It's great and tasty

Beautiful place, small room but just nice, near the train station and town. The best things is we can used their kitchen. Breakfast spreads was good especially their coffee. We’ll be back in a future. Thank you. Happy New Year !

we have taken the separate bungalow with separate entry. it was 2 Bedroom, open kitchen and a living room. perfect place for family of 4. the kitchen was well equipped with some basic groceries and oil to cook. we loved it. like cooking rice and pasta stuff was so easy and convenient. there is a seating outside bungalow was awesome with some glacier and mountain view. the location was like 5 minutes walking from Interlaken West Railway Station. it is a quiet residential community. there is some construction going on adjacent to this property but we were going out in the morning and coming back to evening after working hours so it was not bothering us. when in July it was peak summer, somehow we managed with 2 fans in the night. breakfast was included in the package and it was not great but not boring either. some fruits, coffee, boiled eggs, juice and other bread and butter stuffs. appreciate, they arranged for me a gluten free bread. overall it was a pleasant stay. no complaint. the house lady was awesome and always ready to help. she even helped us book taxi from interlaken west to OST.

This hotel is being dishonest about their situation right now. Although, we feel it’s something they can’t handle at the moment, honesty is always the best policy. They have major construction going on beside them. This specifically puts room number #3 in a horrible situation. During our stay the temps were high resulting in us having to have the windows open at all times. The construction works love to look in your room. Even at 6:40am in the morning. As soon as 7:00am hit they were using the crane right outside our window. I asked the front lady if we could move to the other triple room as we were staying for several days and she noted it’s loud for all guest. We also booked another room which I would say had great views and a better experience. It does solely depend on which room you get for peacefulness. The thing they are responsible for is cleanliness. We had tons of black mold spores growing in our bathroom. I’d just close my eyes to not look at it. In fact, my spouse is sick with respiratory issues now. They’ve colored the tile in the shower black to hide the issue on top of this. Also while staying they had a leak. The fridge is kept right outside our door. I noticed the darkened spot upon arrival. Thought it was normal. It had grown the night before. On the last day they were banging on our door at 6:50 asking if we had spilled something? Trying to figure out their issue. We paid a high cost for the days we were there and regretted we didn’t just pay more for a better experience elsewhere. If you are booking this call in advance to make sure you aren’t on the construction side, they are creepy and love looking in. The receptionist is super friendly, and the kitchen space is kept clean. Avoid room 3! The construction is major and will be there for awhile next door so BEWARE as we were not given the information honestly.
