Adventure Hotel Geirland

Such a cute hotel. The restaurant may not look elegant but the wait staff was super attentive, friendly and patient. The restaurant is clean and that is something I take very seriously. The food was superb! I had the local meal-Grilled Klaustur Char- omg excellent! The dessert too! My husband had the grilled chicken Caesar salad and mozzarella sticks- he loved it. I’m happy we came here! What a great experience.

Newly renovated rooms. Perfect spot to catch the Northern lights. Had dinner, the waiters are helpfull and friendly. Overall great place to stay at the Southern Iceland.

We just finished our stay at Adventure Hotel Geirland and felt compelled to leave a review. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant on-site serves local craft beers and highlights local ingredients. Room was clean and spacious. ||We loved the location and the views from the hotel were excellent. Great bang for your buck here.

I cant recommend these people enough. The rooms were okay, the breakfast was very rich in food, healthiness and overall variety. But the staff is where this hotel really shines! I forgot my headphones in my room and not only did they text me right away, they also brought them to our hotel in reykjavik (probably because they were on a business trip but anyways) They were so amazingly kind and helpful, if they are ever up for promotion please please please consider them! 10 Stars just for Service and Staff, really guys im ever so thankful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location, very relaxing, near waterfall. Only downside was the there was no TV in the room and dinner took a little while longer because of 2 large groups. I wish they had let us know at check-in there would be 2 large parties with reservations at the same time so we could have planned a little better.

The crew/staff on site (most of them Portuguese) were super sweet, helpful and nice. Location is perfect to continue the roadtrip. The site was silent and perfect. The room however is incredibly outdated. The walls had parts were the paint was missing, the closet did not open properly. Overall, not a 260€ a night room. Whene booking, please do request a room far away from the laundry room. Otherwise, you'll be waking up to the noise of the washing machine right next to you.

We stayed two nights at Adventure Hotel Geirland. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and clean. A bit warm for my taste though. The hotel is set in a beautiful, quiet location, not far from a little town and the ring road. A beautiful waterfall is nearby.

It was a real pleasure staying at this hotel. The property is newly built, so everything—from the furniture to the fixtures—feels fresh and well-maintained. The mattress was especially comfortable; I often struggle with back pain on older beds, but I slept like a baby here. While the interior design is minimalist, you can tell that a lot of thought went into every detail. Occasionally, sheep with their lambs wander near the rooms, adding to the peaceful charm of the setting. Breakfast is simple but has all the essentials to start your day right.
