Pure magic — we recommend it wholeheartedly! Our guide, Igna, was a true nature lover who taught us so much about the lagoon. We had a great coffee break on the paddleboards and a mystical breakfast stop on a little sandspot in the middle of the mangroves. Thank you, Igna — we’ll keep paddling on!

It's my first sailboat experience, and it's really good. Our guides are super chill with everything and they are happy to be asked questions about Bacalar. I was by myself in the beginning but ended up having 10 friends after sunset. Highly highly recommended. The photos are from the dock ( the hostel itself).

What a wonderful experience we had ! Everything was perfect: the tour, the boat, the atmosphere and of course the lagoon !!! Igna and Nacho were amazing with us, providing great explanations about the lagoon, wonderful spots and they were so so nice and kind !! (Special mention to the Maracuya juice, it was delicious 😋)

Unforgettable Sailing Experience in Bacalar – Twice! I had my first sailing tour in Bacalar with a group, and it was absolutely amazing. The crew was friendly and professional, and the whole experience left me wanting more. When I returned to Bacalar for the second time, I knew I wanted another sailing tour — but this time, something more personal. I reached out to Adventure Lab and asked if it was possible to book a private tour, ideally with the same captain I had before — Igna. To my delight, not only did they make it possible, but they also offered a private tour on a Hobie Cat, which looked like a lot of fun. On the morning of the tour, I received a message informing me that the wind conditions weren’t safe for the Hobie Cat, but they offered me a free upgrade to one of their small sailboats. That kind of service is truly exceptional! The tour itself was fantastic. Igna is a great guy — super open, relaxed, and genuinely passionate about sailing. He knows the lagoon inside out and took me to some truly stunning spots. His knowledge of sailing is impressive, and I learned a lot from him during our time on the water. I felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time. One of the highlights was the beautifully prepared fruit platter he served during our stop — a thoughtful and refreshing touch that made the experience even more special. I would absolutely book this tour again, without hesitation. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bacalar.

We had a SUP sunrise tour at 5:40, our guide was very nice and told us some facts, we went to the black cenote, then across the lagoon to the pirate cove, had some fruit and coffee&water, and went back over the lagoon. Exactly from 5:40 to 8:40 as planned, very nice.

Lagoon Sailing Tour with Igna and Jesus; the best EVER! When you experience one of the worlds most Magick locations, Bacalar, you want the adventure to align with the special quality of the lagoon. And Igna and Jesus, our guides, were the perfect compliment to a wonderfully magic 3 hours. We visited the lagoon and it's usual spots but did so in the ease of a sailing boat. Plus our guides are both cool people and very accommodating. We loved spending time with these two. Highly recommend. They met us at Habitas and dropped us off. A super wonderful adventure.

Today we had a great sail tour with our captain Jesus and guide/sailer David. Both provided a really good service and nice company during the tour. Good storytelling about the lagune conditions, the cenotes, and the history of Bacalar. Thanks for hosting!

We had a great time renting paddleboards. Armando was excellent and helped teach my friend who had not done it before, he’s a great teacher. Highly recommend 🫶
