Love it but it is Disney World we are talking about. Can’t wait to go back and get some more good drinks.

Great place for families. You can visit the pirates of the Caribbean, which is quite entertaining. You have some magic carpets and Dumbo for smaller children. In addition there is the Jungle Cruise. All in all a lot to discover for kids and families - that's why Magic Kingdom is basically for families the best option.

Google
I was a Jungle Cruise Skipper from 1993-1994. I can say from experience that Adventureland is a land that you and your family or group will enjoy. The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse offers a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is fun and not just for fans of Aladdin. The Enchanted Tiki Room is, in my opinion, a Staple of the Magic Kingdom. With singing birds, flowers, and Tiki gods that will have you and your family singing along. What can I say about the Jungle Cruise? Like they say, "Once a Skipper Always a Skipper." You and your family or group will roll on the floor or roll your eyes with laughter at these talented men and women who will help brave through the jungle. And finally, it's a pirate's life for thee at Pirates of the Caribbean. Join Captain Jack Sparrow as he searches for treasure in this classic Disney attraction. I recommend Fastpass for Jungle Cruise and Pirate of the Caribbean as the lines do tend to get long. Enjoy.

Google
It's magic Kingdom. It's hot rainy over crowded and cost a lot of money. But even with all this It's still the most magical place on earth. Staff is super friendly. The park is always super clean and the food is always good.

Google
I have been coming to Disney for many years. I feel the jungle cruise and pirates of the Caribbean are must sees and still have the original Disney magic. Some of the other areas are cool here to see and explore.

Google
Adventureland is very nostalgic. Lots of rides older visitors associate with their youth and younger folks can enjoy for the first time. The lines are long but move quickly. Most rides have A/C or fans. Find a Cream Cheese filled Pretzel or a frozen Doles Pineapple concoction. Keep hydrated.

Google
Adventureland…always the first land we hit when visiting the Magic Kingdom. Our favorite..Swiss Family Treehouse. A constant moving walk through attraction that depicts life in the Robinson family. Next, onto Pirates of the Caribbean. Always a favorite. A nice ride gliding in a boat on the water. Gives a chance to duck into the air and rest your feet while watching animatronics tell a story from start to finish. Captain Jack Sparrow pops up a few times throughout the ride and outside as well! The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are similar to the Dumbo ride, but always a great time! The Jungle Cruise is still a classic. Another boat ride, but outdoors, gives you the feel of being there and watching it all in a day-by-day life. Lots of great photo areas all around the land. Take advantage while you are there!

Google
Pirates of the Caribbean was ok. Tortuga tavern was disappointing. I thought it would be better themed. And some of the staff on jungle cruise were unhelpful. When we went back to jungle cruise half an hour later though we had nothing but an absolutely awesome experience start to finish

Yelp
A very neat depature from the fantasy and tomorrow lands of Magic Kingdom. Adventureland is home to the Pirates of the Carribean, jungle cruise, swiss family tree top exploration and so much more. We enjoyed so many of the rides and food options here. You can also do flying carpets here, which is like dumbo without the massive lines. I loved the pirates ride, and the jungle cruise was so fun! I love that it feels more like a dessert get away. A lot of details put into this smaller land of the MK.

Yelp
Adventureland: Home of the Dole Whip (and I guess a few other attractions). I usually hit Adventureland first to get to the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise, as wait times can be brutal later in the day. In Adventureland, you can also stop by the Agrabah Bazaar to take pictures with Aladdin & Jasmine, but of course, nothing is better than ending your time here than with a Dole Whip.

Yelp
Of all the "sections" at Magic Kingdom, Adventureland is pretty "small" an nestled between Frontierland and Liberty Square. My personal favorite part of the park is Tomorrowland in my #1, but I think Adventureland probably comes in right at #3, perhaps tied with Liberty Square! My favorite ride in Adventureland is the Jungle Cruise without a doubt! Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted Tiki Room are also pretty good. What the main attraction for me in Adventureland though is the FOOD! The egg roll cart, Sunshine Tree Terrace, and Aloha Isle all belong here and they are the perfect snacky bits that I love to get at Disney to pick me up throughout the day!

Yelp
Adventureland features classic Disney attractions at its best. Three of the original rides are here along with a fourth that opened two years following the opening of the Magic Kingdom Those rides are "the Swiss family treehouse"-a stair walk up attraction based on the Disney movie "Swiss family Robinson", the Jungle Cruise, the enchanted Tiki Room, and the Pirates of the Caribbean. Lightning lane is recommended for the Jungle cruise and the Pirates of the Caribbean. The "magic carpets of Aladdin" with the spitting camels opened later. There are plenty of shops and now Adventureland has its first sit down dining-Skipper Canteen. The sunshine tree tavern which was widely known for their Dole whips expanded and a new snack place was opened called Aloha Isle where you can get more Dole whips along with a pineapple upside cake. Lines at both of these places are very long!!! Another place to grab a bite is the Tortuga tavern serving Mexican food. They also have a shop here called the Plaza del Sol Caribe bazaar where you can get Pirate gifts along with pressed pennies and other Disney stuff. "A pirate's adventure-treasure of the seven seas" is a scavenger hunt for kids of all ages. One of the things I like about Adventureland is how easy it connects to Frontierland. You don't have to walk to the end of the section to move over into Frontierland. The Adventureland rests rooms sits under a long covered area that you can exit into Frontierland or go back to Adventureland. There is also a walkway just past the sunshine tree terrace that will get you there as well. A concert stage is set up for shows and a Caribbean fountain are in the area. It's a unique themed land inspired by the man behind the Mouse-Walt Disney.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom (Orlando) Adventureland is one of the six enchanted themed lands that make up Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. On the park map it is to the left of Cinderella's Castle which is just beyond Main Street USA. Because I wasn't able to secure a FastPass+ to my preferred attractions we ended up scheduling two rides here in Adventureland using our FastPass+. Adventureland has two of the Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions; the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean so we reserved these two rides. We are familiar with the boat ride at Pirates of the Caribbean (Disneyland in California) but Jungle Cruise was new to us. Our funny Skipper Cathy took us on a whimsical cruise through exotic rivers. The animatronic animals presented in this cruise looked real! Other rides and attractions in Adventureland: Swiss Family Treehouse The Magic Carpets of Aladdin [FP+] Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room A Pirate's Adventure -- Treasures of the Seven Seas You can find these 4 places that serve food and snacks in Adventureland: Sunshine Tree Terrace - snacks and ice-cold refreshments Jungle Navigation Co Ltd Skipper Canteen - serving lunch and dinner Aloha Isle - ice cream and dessert and home of the famous pineapple Dole Whips! Tortuga Tavern - lunch, dinner and snacks Souvenirs are plentiful here as well! Plenty of shops! Review #1437

Yelp
Even though it's an artificial Disney creation, I kind of like the international vibe of Adventureland. There's something about those exotic Middle Eastern and Asian architectural and décor touches that's really appealing to me, just like the Moroccan and Japan pavilions in Epcot. When my kids were little we spent most of our park time in Fantasyland, but now we tend to enjoy Adventureland a lot more. Adventureland has some great attractions, of course the legendary Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, but there's also some lesser regarded spots that are pretty cool too, like the dizzying Aladdin ride, the Enchanted Tiki Room and the Swiss Family Treehouse, all worth a visit in my opinion. There are a number of places to get snacks and meals Adventureland, the Skipper Canteen is probably biggest of the lot, but like most of the park dining options, the food is questionable quality and it is horridly expensive. We pack our lunches to save time and money, so we wind up finding random tables to eat our food near the Aladdin ride. Overall, great park area. Five stars.

Yelp
One of the lands in Magic Kingdom this area's name pretty much says it all. The rides in this area take you on on adventure, from pirate escapades to flying carpets, it's a mix of movie magic theming and innovative fun. A few nostalgic rides / shows can be found in this area. Think tiki room and jungle cruise. Over the years it has changed here and there with new food places and updated rides. Mostly though it remains much the same as when I was younger. Which, for me, helps keep that magic alive. I do love the adjustments to pirates though. The layout and vibe throughout is pretty dependent on what ride your by. They did a good job dividing the plan into sectioned areas for theme consistency. Overall: A Some old, some new, but still plenty of fun to be had! 320

Yelp
Here's the skinny on Adventureland, home of Captain Jack Sparrow. =) Pirates of the Caribbean - Whether you are a fan of Jack and the movies or not, you must ride this attraction. Don't miss it. Wait all day in line if you have too. http://www.yelp.com/biz/pirates-of-the-caribbean-lake-buena-vista#hrid:LZG2_QhmFXNFDPbx_euRPg Captain jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial - If you have kids or are a fan of Jack, you should take the 20 minutes to watch the show. It's outside and you have to stand up, but it's worth it... truly. If you're not a fan of Jack and have no kids, then skip it. http://www.yelp.com/biz/captain-jack-sparrows-pirate-tutorial-orlando#hrid:-NIUVA5CExOy5giJk_0Csw The Enchanted Tiki Room - Kids will like this one, but it's old and dated, so adults may not be so fond of it. http://www.yelp.com/biz/sunshine-tree-terrace-lake-buena-vista-2#hrid:2dYO4RBM4xgEKZhZeMopMg Jungle Cruise - This is another on my must-do list. http://www.yelp.com/biz/jungle-cruise-orlando#hrid:dCKQfMr0WDrxDNZ9RDkxFQ The Magic Carpets of Aladdin - Exactly like Dumbo only you're "on" (in) flying carpets. Kids will love it. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-magic-carpets-of-aladdin-orlando#hrid:k09N_WHBFYxg3ypa2lymXw If you're budgeting time and don't have kids, skip this one and do the Astro Orbiter in Tomorrowland instead. http://www.yelp.com/biz/astro-orbiter-orlando-2#hrid:biZ9otLWfZ48OdDSw7HTQQ Swiss Family Treehouse - Your kids will love this so much, you'll have to drag them out. Go in with them, you'll love it too. Don't have kids? Go in anyway. Another must-do! http://www.yelp.com/biz/swiss-family-treehouse-orlando#hrid:xiy3-W_PTaYxfjFRVDoN-A Food options are: Tortuga Tavern http://www.yelp.com/biz/el-pirata-y-el-perico-lake-buena-vista#hrid:G-7NSrBVJfQfDvZ-xHP8_Q Sunshine Tree Terrace - They close around 4pm http://www.yelp.com/biz/sunshine-tree-terrace-lake-buena-vista-2#hrid:2dYO4RBM4xgEKZhZeMopMg Aloha Isle - If you've never had a Dole Whip, this is the place to get it. Yelp
Adventureland here feels a little too small and crowded relative to Disneyland to really capture the spirit of adventure. It's a narrow strip of land that harbors lots of restaurants, stores, and rides including the Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Pirates of the Caribbean, all on top of each other. On the bright side, this could make it easy to get from one attraction to the next, but, again, there's the crowd to contend with. Worth a visit for the rides, but lacking in ambiance.

Yelp
I love Adventureland! I love the rides here! Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise and Enchanted Tiki Room are awesome, but my favorite is actually the Magic Carpets of Aladdin haha. My daughter and I loved it.

Yelp
This is where it all started...Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, Enchanted Tiki Room....classics from when I was a kid. It was fun to relive my childhood memories at Disney World's Adventureland. It was fun to watch the Pirates of the Carribean street show and the Johnny Depp look alike entertain the crowds. Now I wonder what the actors at Disney parks looked like before the Depp movie character...? That would be fun to compare. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/adventureland-bay-lake?select=lafvKykyx1lnpvTfu4L0pA#lafvKykyx1lnpvTfu4L0pA It was just the beginning for our day in the Magic Kingdom. Yelp
Pretty fun, as far as the different sections of Magic Kingdom go. It's practically identical to the Adventureland at Disneyand in CA, except the one at Magic Kingdom also has the Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride, which I was very grateful for (anyone who knows me knows I am an Aladdin fanatic). The only other major different was the fact that there is no Indiana Jones ride at Disney World, as there is at Disneyland! Disappointing. My fiance and I visited Adventureland fairly early in the day (I'd recommend visiting in the afternoon, actually). We did the following attractions: -Jungle Cruise -Magic Carpets of Aladdin -Tiki Room -Aloha Isle (yum, pineapple dole whip ice cream!) I will review these all separately. Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for renovations. SAD!! There were a few sections of Adventureland that we didn't go to that I had been to before, such as the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse section, which is ALRIGHTTT, but not worth waiting for or wasting time for. Bottom line - fun land, but there were a couple major attractions missing/closed that I'm used to going to at Disneyland.

Yelp
Adventureland has all of your favorite Disney rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise. There are eateries, shops and plenty of restrooms.

Yelp
The worst management ever. Here is our conversation. This is between me and Ross the boss. Hello Ross, My name is Jessica and I am currently here at your establishment and I am extremely angry as I live in Omaha, NE and prior to me arriving I called 2 times. First time to ask about general pricing info. The second time specifically to inquire about the weather. When I was in Madison IA I noticed the weather was changing is why I called Adventureland. I wanted to ensure that the weather was good n stable so that my kids could enjoy the entire park without worries, hesitations, or saftey concerns I get here and see lighting almost touching the ride that goes straight up in the air. The one you can see from the interstate. To my dismay it is not Sunny and humid and from the appearance doesn't seem to have been all day. It is now pouring rain and not only have I wasted gas but now broken my childrens spirits and on my way back home for nothing. That is not ethical by any standard and for the young man to say there is nothing he can do but apologize is substandard and extremely insulting. I have a copy of the 2 videos I took. One of the exhange with employee. He wasn't rude he was just young like 16 and I need an adult to handle this matter. The other is of me leaving and the weathrr condition now. Thank you for taking your time in review and consideration of this matter. Jessica Thank you for taking the time to send me your concerns. Adventureland's website, as well our Daily Adventures (Park Maps) contains text: 'Rainy days are part of spring and summer, so we usually play in the rain.' While we will always be truthful if someone should call us about the weather, the very simple fact is that the weather changes and no one, myself included, can predict the weather. There were times throughout the afternoon in which the weather was sunny, and times in which it was cloudy. However, we have had no significant rain accumulation at all and the park has been at full capacity (with the exception of two rides shutting down for less than 10 minutes). In the event of severe weather the park will remain open, although some rides may need to temporarily close out of safety concerns. I regret to inform you there is nothing I can do in this situation. Adventureland has at it's disposal the same radar technology and weather forecasting as the general public. In the two and a half hours from your drive to Omaha, the weather went from presumably sunny (as reported by an Adventureland representative) to overcast. I can understand your hesitance in entering the park, but I cannot offer you compensation as a result of you having made an autonomous decision to drive from Omaha and changed your mind to come to the park after the weather changed. I get weather can change that isn't the dispute but when I physically call and was advised completely false information in efforts to make corporate gains is where the accountability lies. I do work for who on behalf allowed me to make this venture. Not only will I contact my attorney. I will also leave negative reviews and notify my employer which can thrn notify othrr companies and then I will be glad to submit my experience to the local news channels as well as GMA. Too big of a corporation to be so unethical. I appreciate not having this matter resolved appropriately. Is there a legal dept my representing law firm can contact? At the moment you become litigious is when I am no longer willing to carry on this conversation. Sincerely, Ross Schoofs I understand but you jusr advised there is no resolution and I need resolution. If you can provide an appropriate resolve there will be no litigation to be concerned with. Please advise. No response since July 13, 2017 from Ross Schoofs. I now believe it goes beyond customer dissatisfaction at this point.

Yelp
Another great area of the park. My top rides here? Pirates and the Jungle Cruise! I love it!!! The decor here is really cool, and makes for a lot of great photo ops!

Yelp
Adventureland is for the boys (and girls) who love to dig in the dirt & splash in the mud. The Jungle Cruise (http://www.yelp.com/biz/jungle-cruise-orlando#hrid:Q8oDLBSdIBvSbOiMQEG1ag) is classic Disney fun. I don't know if they do it anymore, but supposedly if you ask to drive the boat you get an honorary Riverboat Captain license (similar to what they used to give out on the Monorail). You get to see hippos & lions while taking a short respite from the heat and your feet. Grab a Dole Whip & wait in line - Great combo for waging war against the Florida sun. Aloha Isle - How did I go so many years without knowing this magical place existed??? I blame my parents. It's all their fault. (http://www.yelp.com/biz/aloha-isle-lake-buena-vista-2#hrid:ljzQ0H1kaM5rXcvXXjHtVg) Pirates of the Caribbean (http://www.yelp.com/biz/pirates-of-the-caribbean-lake-buena-vista#hrid:iDavpWiKp7Xa7tcPjZJ2Ig) is another great way to get out of the heat for a bit. When they updated the ride to go with the movie(s) it definitely added new life to a ride. Some purists don't like it, but I do appreciate that it extended the shelf life because I hate when classic rides get the ax. (Mr. Toad's Wild RIde, anyone?) Enchanted Tiki Room is worth a short break if you happen to be there right before the show starts. For YEARS I was denied the opportunity to see what this attraction was about. EVERY SINGLE time we were going on an Adventure, this attraction was down. Was I glad I finally had a chance to see it? Yes. Was it worth whatever crazy imagination I had built up in my head? No. Other things to do on your Adventure: Rides/Attractions Magic Carpets of Aladdin Swiss Family Treehouse Activities Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial Meet & Greet - Aladdin & Jasmine Meet & Greet - Fairies @ Tinkerbell's Nook Food Sunshine Tree Terrace Tortuga Tavern Shopping Agrabah Bazaar Island Supply Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar Zanzibar Trading Co. You can find restrooms in the Caribbean Plaza pass through that leads to Frontierland (http://www.yelp.com/biz/frontierland-bay-lake#hrid:P97hW9reJ6I5iJEnEGr7lw).

Yelp
Adventure land is pretty cool. It has pirates of the Caribbean which is one of my favorite rides. I recommend getting there early to get a fast pass because lines can be long! The lines are usually air conditioned tho which is nice. Overall good experience, one of the more fun lands in magic kingdom.

Yelp
Adventureland is one of my favorite areas of Disneyworld. It always has been. Mainly for Pirates of the Caribbean. But also for the Carpets, the Jungle Cruise, and pretty much everything else. A typical journey to Adventureland, for me, goes like this: Swiss Family Treehouse, Magic Carpets, Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets (again), Tiki Room (corny but I sooo love it), Pirates of the Caribbean (2xs), eat at Tortuga Tavern. I love the layout and the look as it is original Disney. I love the upgrades, over the years, as they fit perfectly. Always look for Aladdin characters near the carpets. They are typically near Agrabah Bazaar. Also, not sure the meaning, but if you look at the pavement near the Bazaar, there are beads and odd stones in the pavement. Just a fun little hunt as a distraction. Over the years, lots of Pirate events have been added, here. So, check them out. Always fun for kids. I truly have nothing negative to say about Adventureland. It earns a 5 star for that. I always look forward to it.

Chiqui C.

Yelp
Perfect area for kids under 9. Always good when you want to have an ice cream or a relaxing time. Except for the Pirates of the Caribbean atraction, is not the best place to repeat after first visit, unless had passed many years from the previous visit.

Yelp
Ah yes, Adventure Land, home to the Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and more. A lovely place to get in touch with your inner pirate.

Yelp
Adventureland in Disney's Magic Kingdom is always a fun and bustling place. There are street performers and food carts along the way. You might even run into Woody!
google avatar

Anthony F.

Yelp
Pirates of the Caribbean ride is ok. The scenery is good and the Jack Sparrow characters look almost real. The ride itself is a boat ride that doesn't really do much but float around through different sceneries. Small children and fans of the movies might like it. Only do it if the wait times are short. The ride has remained unchanged for several years so one ride should hold you over for a while!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
My son and I enjoy this area of Magic Kingdom. He loves to climb the stairs in the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House and watch the pirate show with Captain Jack Sparrow. I enjoy riding Pirates of the Caribbean and hearing the funny jokes on Jungle Cruise. Tortuga Tavern is my favorite counter service restaurant at Magic Kingdom because they have really good burritos and taco salads. Unfortunately Tortuga Tavern is only open seasonally but Pecos Bills is right around the corner and also has taco salads but no burritos. Aloha Isle is my favorite desert stop in Magic Kingdom, they have vanilla soft serve with pineapple or orange Dole Whip. Unfortunately Aloha Isle is very close to a nearby smoking area, so if there is not a good wind blowing it's almost unbearable to wait in line here.

Caleb H.

Yelp
Adventureland is fun. Aladdin and the Pirates of the Caribbean along with Jungle Cruise are the best things here. But they are also things to learn around here.
