Upper Antelope Canyon mid-day has beautiful light streams and colors. We really enjoyed the short hike through this amazing slot canyon. Our guide Matt drove 12 of us in a van to the entrance and showed us the best places for pictures and how to set the cameras for the best lighting. He even took pictures for everyone individually or couples/etc. at specific places in the canyon with cool light and/or features. This is a must do. Lots of tours are available for similar prices. We really enjoyed our experience with Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours. Tours around noon seem to have the best lighting and are most popular so book in advance. It is a solid stream of small tour groups so be ready to move through the canyon soaking it in and taking pictures. After exiting the other end you gave a short climb on a raised platform trail, then a short hike down to a long staircase back to the parking area. Highly recommend this tour...bucket list stuff 🙂

Booking was smooth and easy to navigate the address. Our tour Guide (Brandon). He is the best tour guide I have ever encountered in my life. He has depth knowledge of this place and very interesting thing about him is. He took professional photos and that thing blow my mind. He is so talented and experienced guy. We enjoyed our tours so much. Thank you so much to him and your company for having such a talented and wonderful tour guide. I will definitely gonna give recommendations to my family’s and friends for future planing if they have plan to go this amazing places. My best part of this tour is the picture ( monument valley) shape arches that he took with my phone 10 out 10. 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰

Google
This experience will leave you in aww, the Antelope Canyon is a must see spectacular place. Our guide would tell us where to stand and what settings to have on our phone to get a great shot. Unfortunately my phone was glitching so I was not able to get the right settings! The shuttle takes us to the Canyon and just a warning it can be very bumpy at times especially if you are sitting in the back! Overall, highly recommended Adventurous Antelope Canyon tours!

The ride to the canyon is quite uncomfortable, the vehicle bounces a lot and the heat can be intense (but is only 15 to 20min). The reception area also leaves much to be desired: restrooms are poor and there’s no drinking water available, not even for purchase. Inside the canyon, there’s also no water for visitors, which is tough in such hot weather. Our guide, Adalberto (I believe that was his name), was excellent! He knew everything about the canyon’s history and even took amazing photos of everyone in the group using our own phones. Even with the poor infrastructure, the beauty of the place makes the experience worthwhile.

After reading reviews and researching I booked the Upper Antelope Canyon tour with “Adventurous Antelope Canyon tours” in late April and loved it. Miss Irene was our tour guide and did a phenomenal job taking individual pictures of our group (which didn’t take long) and kept our small group flowing thru the canyon in a timely fashion. We were bused over to the canyon in small vans and back to post. You can get there early and pack a lunch to eat under their pavilion with picnic tables. Pay attention to the post number written on your confirmation instructions there are several close to one another off the hwy. The walk back to the van is easy-moderate, level and not paved. I’m out of shape and did good. Bring a bottle of water especially in the summer months. Its cool inside cave but not walking back to van. We highly recommend this tour company.

Truly breathtaking, especially at the right time of day. Our tour guide, Ronan, I think, was super nice and helpful. He was funny and showed us all the good spots to take pictures. This tour was completely amazing and I’m so glad I got to do it. Really, add this to your bucket list.💗

Had an awesome time at this magical place. The only regret I have is not being able to be shown the heart because I have no pictures of it and wasn't told where it was at. So that was a bit of a letdown. But other than that our guide was informative and answered any questions that I had and showed us where the great horned owl was at. I only got a back facing picture of it because it was not looking forward so that sucks too. My only complaint is that I feel that we are rushed through there. For the amount of money being charged I feel that we should be able to have more time in there. I get that there are other tours because this place makes a killing. When we came there was at least 70 plus people in different groups. I can't imagine how many people come during peak season. I came at the end of April. So it wasn't too bad as far as being crowded. But as I said I would have liked to spend more time in there for the price that's being charged. But hey what can you do but follow the leader who leads you out and it reminds you of a Disney ride you waited in a long line for only to get a short ride. Oh and for people who have back problems it's a bumpy ride to get to the canyon. It reminded me of being on a school bus as a child and went over a bump that throws you up off your seat LOL it was fun but then my back started hurting later. I would definitely come back here if I had the chance because of how beautiful this place was but as I said I don't think I was in that Canyon for an hour and a half like it said I was supposed to be.

Make your reservation online before you go. Tours book very quickly at least a day before. Adventurous Antelope Canyon is the best tour to use when going to Antelope Canyon. In the picture you can see some tours use a pickup truck with seats in the back. In the background you can see the small vans that are used by Adventurous Antelope Canyon tour which are very comfortable. Yes, the road to Antelope Canyon is bumpy after you get off the paved road but that is just part of the fun:) It really is fun. Our tour guide was Connie. She is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and assist the guest with the perfect place to get the best pictures. Connie does not rush you through the tour and will use your camera to take several photos of your party throughout the tour. The walk back to the car is a little strenuous but I am very much out of shape and a smoker. I had no problem. My husband and I are retired, this is the best tour we have ever been on. I can't say enough about this company and especially Connie. You won't regret booking with Adventurous Antelope Canyon tours. Our tour was May 14, 2025.

Yelp
We had a great guide, Art, who was very knowledgeable about the upper spectacular Antelope Canyon & using our phones to take pictures. He showed us exactly how to set our phones & where to position them for a perfect picture each time. He explained the geology & history of the canyon & the Navajo in this part of Arizona. We loved the tour! We would definitely ride with Art on future visits.

Yelp
We were a party of three adults. We had Irene as our guide. She did a great job leading us through the slot canyon. It was beautiful!! She pointed out interesting photo ops and she took photos of us as well. She moved us along at a reasonable pace and was protective of our party's interest by hurrying lolloygaggers from the previous group and slowing down overeager wanderers from the group behind us. She was super personable and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Wendy F.

Yelp
Connie was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job at showing us around, sharing her beautiful culture and even taking some pictures of us! We did the later tour ( 3pm) as the others were sold out, everyone recommends the earlier ones but I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I'm sure each session has its magic in where the sun hits. It was all breath taking! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Really stunning experience - very much worth it. Ronnie was a wonderful tour guide and we learned so much about the land, the history, the geography, and the culture. It was really wonderful hearing about the deep ties of the canyons and the people from our guide. The canyons were breathtaking and I would highly recommend this particular tour experience for the organization, the thoughtfulness, and the people who run the tours.

Yelp
We went on a tour with Connie on June 29th. The staff we encountered were amazing. We toured Rattlesnake Canyon and Upper Antelope Canyon. We learned so much on this tour. Would love to do their other tours next time, just because Connie was so great. The 8am tour time was great, not too hot and didn't feel rushed. A highlight of our family trip!
google avatar

Yelp
Our tour guide, Ronnie, made this trip exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and geography, and he provided excellent photography tips. Given the number of tours that pass through each day, it felt rushed at times, which is expected at such a popular spot. However, Ronnie did an outstanding job managing the crowds. Pro Tip: Make sure to confirm the tour start time as there will be some timezone confusion. In the summer, their time zone is the same as PST.

Yelp
Beautiful canyon, kinda sketchy office, clean trucks. Pushy guide, kinda rude. Sooo focused on taking pictures and make us all have these amazing Instagram pics that we couldn't enjoy the canyon. If you want pics for insta this is your place. If you want to enjoy the beautiful canyon in peace find another canyon

Yelp
Determining what time they operate is confusing AF! - Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time (MST), but does not observe Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). - The Navajo Nation in AZ observes MDT. - Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours (Navajo) does NOT observe MDT. - Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours has a sign, "Day Light Saving" that adds tremendous confusion to many tourists. The lady taking money (manager type) and checking QR codes was very unfriendly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but walked far ahead of the group about half way. Moreover, he didn't say a word the entire ride back. Total Jekyll and Hyde. He focused WAY TOO MUCH on taking photos: camera settings, telling people where to stand, etc. Maybe not his fault as most of the tourists were fixated on taking photos. Why can't people take a photo or two and just enjoy the experience? I wish they'd limit photography. The touristy vibe was on full blast. The 11:05 a.m. slot is by far the busiest and most expensive. You get a much more tranquil experience during other times. In

Yelp
We did the upper antelope Canyon tour with this company. It is a little more expensive than the lower Antelope Canyon, we booked it through an online system, the booking process was simple, and the instructions were sent out clearly to the email ID. We stayed at page Arizona, and it is a 10-minute drive from the hotel location. The drive to the area itself is beautiful, and you can see a lot of tour companies operating on both sides of the road. The tour company is easy to locate, and it has plenty of parking and have Portable Restrooms available to use. Once you reach you, go and check in at the booth and take some pictures if need be and ready for your onboarding into the van. Based on the crowd, you go into a specific van assigned for you and your family with other tourists, maybe 10 or 12. It is a 15 minute drive to the entrance of the canyon and the tour guide we had is Jake who is very knowledgeable about the canyon and very kind enough to take lot of pictures for the entire crew. The overall tour is definitely worth the money even though it is expensive, the antelope canyon is very beautiful. I will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Ronnie is the best tour guide! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour fun! He helped us take amazing pictures. Can't recommend enough

Yelp
We booked this tour of the upper part of Antelope Canyon, and even though the weather wasn't cooperating our guide Jayden managed to get us some amazing and very cool pictures. He's passionate about the Canyon and eager to share his knowledge with the visitors. Make sure you book well in advance, early during the year is best to avoid the crowds and no bag is allowed (not even a tiny one), just bring a camera and a bottle of water, that's all you need. Totally recommend this tour!

Yelp
The landscape was spectacular, but our guide, Josh, seemed bored and never really engaged with us. Other groups seemed to be having a great time, while Josh hardly spoke.

Yelp
Great tour in December 2022. Loved every second with the kind tour guide and got wonderful pictures.
google avatar

Pam A.

Yelp
We loved our guide Nancy! She was an excellent photographer and gave us many opportunities to frame shots of the canyon, and provided us with interesting cultural information. I look forward to coming back and doing another tour!

Catherine S.

Yelp
Our tour guide Ronnie made this trip so great. He was knowledgeable on local history & geography & great with photography tips. Of course there are so many tours coming through throughout the day so it felt rushed at times which is the nature of going to such a popular spot, but Ronnie did a really good job at crowd controlling & ensuring everyone in our group got equal time at every spot. 10/10 tour guide! Thank you Ronnie!

Yelp
Nathan was our guide on our 3 canyon adventure. This was a day I will not forget. I was really torn what canyons to pick but i chose the 3 canyon tour because I'd hoped to see the Owl in Owl canyon. Rattlesnake canyon was the most difficult for me .. it was very narrow and twisting. At the end we had several ladders to climb and I was worried I couldn't do that since I've had shoulder surgeries. Even my physical therapist didn't think I should try it .. but I'm glad I challenged myself. My husband had to help me a bit but it all worked out. the pics don't do the beauty of the canyons justice. This was a dream come true and it literally changed me. I've always been afraid of heights but after we did this our next stop was Laguna Beach and I climbed rocks by myself. I was so proud.

Yelp
Connie was our tour guide and she was great! Didn't feel rushed going through the slot canyon (which was beautiful) and she gave us a lot of background information and pointed out things we wouldn't have noticed on our own.

Yelp
we went on oct 8 at the 1:10pm tour, bus 38 , i want to say our guide is just awesome and very helpful and i apologize for forgetting his name, this tour is highly recommended and we enjoyed it immensely , 6

Yelp
Great tour company to see the beautiful Antelope Canyons! They don't allow any bags just a bottle of water and a camera or your phone. The canyons are beautiful and it's best to go in the spring or fall when the weather is perfect and not too crowded as well. Our tour guides Jay and Irene were awesome and they did a great job explaining the significance of these canyons especially to the Navajo people. They are sacred sites to them and should be treated with respect. Beautiful place to visit!

Yelp
Antelope Canyon has been on my bucket list for years now and I finally got to check it off this week. Antelope Canyon has two different canyons that you can tour - Upper Antelope and Lower Antelope. As it is on Navajo land, you can only visit with an authorized tour company. You're asked to check in 30 minutes before the tour so that you can sign a waiver. There are porta potties at check in so make sure to use your hotel's restroom before you leave. Be aware no bags are allowed on the tour and you'll take a short ride to get to the canyon. We loved Andy. He was such a great tour guide as he was super friendly and likeable. He showed us a ton of camera tricks and took so many pictures for us. Best time!

Karyna Y.

Yelp
Thanks to our guide Ronnie for a great time and mood, as well as for helping with taking photos

Yelp
Nate was a GREAT tour guide. Had a great time very worth it. Every aspect of this tour was perfect :)

Yelp
My family and I booked a tour of the upper canyon and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Arizona! Even with the rainy weather, we were able to get great pictures during the tour. Our guide Roman was really cool and shared interesting information about the canyon and land. As a heads up, if the weather is bad they will cancel. We had a mini panic attack because it started raining and we thought we may not make it in time (no refunds if you're already there and they have to turn back). Also, no real bathrooms, just port-a potties, so make sure you go to the bathroom before you arrive. Can't wait to go back again one day!
google avatar

Yelp
absolutely wonderful trip to upper antelope canyon! Our guide, Connie, was very knowledgeable, and pointed out some really good spots not only for pictures but to explain the intricacies of the canyon itself!
google avatar

Jimmy P.

Yelp
It was an amazing experience, but we were rushed through. We had done the lower canyon earlier that day and it was amazing with Ken's Tours. We went at a great pace and the guide was amazing. Adventurous not so much. The guide was all over the place and we so rushed that we were missing the adventure of the experience. The guide kept wanting to take photos of us. That's great, but we felt he was doing it to keep us from slowing down. If you want a better experience, use another service.
google avatar

Mary L.

Yelp
Connie was the best tour guide! She shared so many fun facts and history of the Navajo people. This business had the best accommodations to and from the canyons. Very user friendly. Would 10/10 recommend this guide company!

Yelp
Summary: Will try to get you on any tour changes, cancellations. They seem to operate on a "got ya" business model. I would not recommend booking with this company unless you're 120% certain you're making it to the booked tour. Details: We booked two tours with them for the total of 5 people. Eight days before scheduled tours, I was in excruciating tooth pain and saw my dentist who found a fractured root and infection running rampant. Recommended to surgically remove the tooth and install an implant. After scheduling multiple dental surgeon appointments for this procedure, it became clear we're not making the tours.I reached out to the company explaining the situation and asking for a full refund. Offered to provide dentist notes. Also checked their tour availability and they had space available for the tours we booked. So, we were not holding anyone back from booking. Talked to La Shanda, explaining the situation. Apparently she was perfectly happy to take a percentage from our refund regardless of our situation. We can't attest to the quality of their tours, but would not deal with a company that is "heartless" and is just looking to get your for more money.

Yelp
For our northern Arizona road trip, we heard such great things about Antelope Canyon, so it was definitely on our list to visit. We learned that we needed to get tickets to visit Antelope Canyon and you can only do so through a tour group. Therefore, we found Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours as it was a company that still had openings the day we planned to visit. We booked a month ahead of time, and recommend that as soon as you know when you're going to Antelope Canyon to start looking for a tour company and get tickets ASAP, especially if you plan to visit between 11am - 1:30pm, which they say is prime time for sun light. We were able to book online and the tickets were about $120 per person with tax. It's steep. I can't say it's worth the price though. I expected more for having to cough up so much dough. We received a notification that we will be on reservation land; therefore, they are on mountain time and do not recognize daylight savings time. Okay, noted. We also received a notice that we needed to be there at least 30 minutes early. So, we planned our entire drive to make our tour time on time, only to find out that we were indeed an hour early because apparently they DO recognize daylight savings time??? And we were not the only group to learn this. There were five other groups who came here an hour early because they simply followed the information of what was provided. We rushed to get here, so you can imagine how annoying that was to get contrary information. When I went to the ticket counter to address this issue, all the employee said was that we were early and to wait until our time is called and she literally slid the glass screen to avoid talking to me. Rude AF. So after waiting for an hour, we then were led on the tour, which was a better experience. Our tour guide was nice, but as we were touring the canyon, she mostly talked about how to take great photos versus explaining the history and geology of the canyon, which is what I was mostly interested in. It seemed to be more of a photo shoot experience than anything else. We were also rushed through the canyon, to make way for other groups. So, depending on what you want out of this, this may be a good or A-OK tour group for visiting Antelope Canyon. It just wasn't for me.

J M.

Yelp
Upon advice of my aunt who went on this tour, we selected only the Upper Antelope Canyon tour (mostly level walking, no ladders). Wow, what a truly memorable experience! Connie was our guide, she was amazing! She shared her story and her family history. During the tour she gave us great pointers on taking of pictures of the very distinct features, such as the bear and eagle, and also took photos of us along the way. Connie made this an experience of a lifetime. We could not ask for a better guide.

Yelp
Our tour of the Upper Antelope and Rattlesnake slot canyons was wonderful, and our guide (Blue Sky) did a fantastic job! He paced the group and yet managed to take the time to achieve outstanding photos for each of us. He was both informative and experienced. We toured Lower Antelope via another vendor that same day, and there was no comparison -- Adventurous Antelope stands out for its streamlined process and quality. Blue Sky reviewed photos as he took them, played with exposures and angles, and helped us maximize our short time in the canyon with his skill. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit -- more than worth it to book the prime-light tour!
google avatar

Richard F.

Yelp
I have to admit that I was a bit worried when I first booked my Upper Antelope Canyon tour because of how old-school their website was and that reservations were non-refundable. However, I had an excellent time here at the tour. This was a slightly more premium but more expensive version compared to the Roger Ekis' tour. The tour is more expensive than their other competitor, but they offer a prime time spot to see more of the sunlight in the caves. They also gave us more time to explore the caves, as they picked us up 25 minutes before our tour time and even let us see an extra slot canyon. Our tour gide, Tiya, was excellent throughout and was great taking photos of us. The slight con is that the tour pick up spot is east of town and requires a slightly longer drive (the competitor picks up at Downtown Page which was more convenient). Excellent experience. It's more expensive but it's worth it.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Seeing Antelope Canyon was on my bucket list, so we journeyed to Page to make it happen. We spent about an hour in the canyon. During that time, our guide, Josh, told us how the canyon was formed, and its history, and helped us get great photos. It was a great experience. The hardest part of the day was trying to arrive at the appointed hour. The tour company operates year-round on Mountain Standard Time.
google avatar

Yelp
We booked about two months in advance and were lucky to be able to get a spot for the six of us. There are a limited number of tour operators with access to these sites, so be sure to book early. Our tours of Antelope and Rattlesnake Canyons were an efficient and compact tour over ~2 hours. We checked in at the tour operators' headquarters which isn't much more than some shaded picnic tables and port-a-potties. When it's time to leave for the tour, you are transported in the back of a covered truck (with seatbelts) to the canyons. The total number of people on the tour was ~12-15 so a small-ish group. I enjoyed Rattlesnake Canyon the most because we had it all to ourselves for about an hour and the light was amazing (we were there mid-morning). At both spots, our tour guide was great at helping us take pictures that really popped on camera...and even helped stage great shots in Antelope Canyon. Antelope Canyon was much more crowded with each tour group waiting for the next to be finished with each segment of the canyon but I totally understand given how in demand these tours are. There aren't any bathrooms once you leave the tour headquarters.
google avatar

Prada P.

Yelp
Overpriced and rushed through the canyons like herds. The group wanted pictures of themselves in the canyon, not of the canyon and our guide got upset for taking our own pictures. The facility has portapottys and no real restroom.

Alexis C.

Yelp
Roman was an awesome tour guide! He captured amazing pictures during the entire tour! He was also very knowledgeable about the canyons and their history. This is definitely an experience you can't miss!!
google avatar

Sabrina Z.

Yelp
Nate gave a fantastic tour of Rattlesnake Canyon, Coyote Canyon, Upper Antelope Canyon and Owl Canyon. He was very helpful in showing how to properly photograph the canyon and pointed our great shots. Would highly recommend their tour.

Frank G.

Yelp
Absolutely garbage service I would never recommend this absolute trash company to anyone. My aunt broke her leg and they refuse to give any type of refund or any kind of alternative compensation. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and couldn't even do math. We were charged more for rescheduling because they would have completely kept our money from our original booking and were overcharged. There are multiple better options for tours in this area. Adventurous antelope canyon is wack!!!

Claudia A.

Yelp
I would NOT recommend the upper canyon tour at all. Worst experience possible!! Our tour guide was solely concerned with showing us what animals or shapes certain photos would look like, would threaten people that tried to take photos/videos with their cellphone which was not stated on their website that it was not allowed. She rushed us along and ignored many of our questions and kept talking about what animal or shape certain areas of the canyon looked like. The tour guide was rude to the group and would PUSH PEOPLE?!??!? It's truly unacceptable to be a tour guide company and not care at all about your customer's experiences. Very unprofessional and again, highly NOT recommended to book this tour. There are many other things that people can do with their valuable time. Traumatic experience.
google avatar

Sandee L.

Yelp
Upper Antelope Canyon is definitely more popular than Lower Antelope Canyon. This was our first of the two to visit, so we had nothing to compare it to at the time. After a quick open air ride to the canyon, we were escorted in. There are so many tour groups, that you are ushered through like cattle...and FAST. There is no dilly-dallying here, folks. Our guide was good in getting in the photo ops that she could, but they were very rushed. Even the photo tour had to maneuver around us. I can't imagine they got that great of pictures. The upper antelope tours are where you're going to see the *sun beams*, if any. From what I read, the best chance you have seeing these are mid-day when the sun is right overhead in the middle of the summer. So being that we were here in late Fall/early Winter, we didn't see any of that. So would I do this tour again? Probably not. Am I glad I did it once? For sure. You definitely are doing yourself a disservice if you come all the way and don't do BOTH the upper and lower canyon tours.

Yelp
Excellent tour of Upper Antelope Canyon! Our guide was exceptionally good. He helped us take great photos with our iPhones. I was anticipating taking underexposed photos but we came out with shots worth printing and mounting in our home from a wonderful trip! I'd recommend this tour to friends and family.

Julie B.

Yelp
Had a fantastic tour with Ronnie this morning. He was knowledgeable and personable. He helped us take the best photos in upper antelope and took great family photos for us. And wow wow wow what a spectacular site the canyon is! Should be a bucket list destination for all.

Yelp
If you're looking to tour Antelope Canyon, I'd highly recommend going with this company. Our tour guide, Connie, was fantastic - very patient & kind with my elderly dad, told great stories on the history of the canyon and gave us tips on how to best get beautiful photos of the canyon. A+! Also - not related to the company but I was a little concerned about the heat since we were taking a mid-day tour during a heat wave in 100+ degree weather but was happy to find out the canyons are even cooler than I'd expected them to be.

Yelp
We did the Upper Antelope Canyon tour with this company and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The slot canyon was really amazing, I've never seen anything like it before. My kids loved it too. Our guide was Roman and he was truly fantastic. He knew so much about the history of the canyon and the people. He also helped us take some amazing photos.

Yelp
We did the Upper Antelope Canyon tour last week. It was fantastic! Irene was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She guided us through the canyon at a great pace - not rushed at all. She showed us the best settings and angles to take photos. It was like a photography tour! Irene also gave us a lot of information about the formation of the canyon and the history. Upper Antelope Canyon is phenomenal. It lived up to my very high expectations. Irene made it extra special. Very happy we picked this tour.

Sayani B.

Yelp
EXCELLENT! Highly Knowledgeable Guides who are patient, do not hurry you and take the best photos in this tour of the Antelope Canyon. We booked with Adventurous Antelope Canyon last minute - and I am so glad we did. Pros: 1) Our Guide (Nate/Nathan) was just stellar. He was very knowledgeable, knew how to get the best photos inside the Canyon, and never once rushed us. And we were travelling with older people - and he was extremely thoughtful about that. 2) Closed cars - They take you to the canyon in cars and not trucks (which is what most of the others do) Cons: The only Con with this tour operator is they don't take kids less than 8. But if that is not your concern, they are the BEST of the 5 tour operators that take you to Antelope Canyon. Highly recommend them!

Yelp
Great tour today. Nathan was an excellent guide & you could tell he enjoys his job! He was informative & helpful with photography. The group size was 6 & we never felt we were being rushed or rushing a group ahead of us. Fabulous day.

Yelp
Provender: a great experience, creating a lifetime full of memories. I purchased the 3 hour tour, which included upper Antelope Canyon and Rattlesnake Canyon. Our guide, Blue Sky, provided a lot of background concerning both canyons. He also knew the ideal cell phone camera settings to take the perfect picture. The front office girl was very sweet, and gorgeous. Lawd have mercy! Prices: comparable to other tour companies. Parking: there is ample parking in their lot, which is about 10-15 minutes away from Upper Antelope Canyon. People: fun for all, but it does get crowded because of all the tours that take place throughout the day. Perks: I went during the winter season, so here are a few tips. First, bring gloves, a hat, and warm clothing. Most likely, the drive there will be in an open canopy truck, so the wind will make it extremely chilly. Second, ask about the phone camera settings so you can have everything prepared to take a great shot. Finally, arrive 45 minutes early to get your registration finalized, and don't forget to bring your confirmation email. The office location where you will check in has a few porta potties, so it's best to use the restroom before you begin the tour because there's no place to go once your at the site. Don't forget to tip, and support the Navajo!

Yelp
We thought the upper canyon tour was fantastic. Yes, there are a lot of people. Yes, it can be a little hectic but what can you expect for an attraction like this? They do offer sightseer and photographer tours, and if you are a serious photographer you 100% need to book the photographer tour. We did a sightseer tour and were happy with it as far as experience and photographs just for the memories. You arrive at their location at least 45 min before your departure time. You will be asked if you have a reservation and for your reservation number. Be sure to have this on hand and all will go smoothly. If you don't have a reservation and they are sold out, you will be turned away. I would highly recommend booking online before your visit. Something tells me they sell out a lot. Once they confirm your number one person can go pay at the window. Then everyone in your party must sign a liability waiver. They have several port-a-potties available so don't expect any real bathrooms. There is nothing at the canyon for restrooms. You are allowed to carry a camera, phone or water bottle. Anything else is not allowed. No bags! About 20 minutes or so before tour time they will call your ticket number and assign your group to your tour guide. Then you will either be loaded into large trucks (bench seating in back) or an SUV (I think this was mostly for groups with kids or special requests?). The drive to the canyon is short but a bit bumpy and dusty. Once we arrived our tour guy Al was super nice and laid back but did tell us about the canyon and took photos for every family. Moving through the canyon was a bit crazy since there were a lot of people but we went pretty slow so it gave you lots of time to look around. There were plenty of photo opportunities too. All of the other guides we encountered were friendly and helpful when it came to pictures. Overall it's an amazing sight to see and we had a great experience. It was definitely worth it. I'd recommend using this tour company if you go!

Yelp
Best tour ever! We took the 1pm upper antelope tour. Although some people think it's not the best time to visit since we can no longer see the sun penetrating through the canyon and shine on the floor, I was able to get some decent pictures without tripod. Tripods are not allowed. Since we were in the last part of the group, tour guide took his time & guide us on where to take some great shots & helped us took our pictures without rushing us through the Antelope. Highly recommend Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tour.
