Aegeon Hotel

Brilliant location right on Mylopotas beach. Nice enough Italian restaurant, ATM, bus stops and mini market next door. Hotel owner was lovely and there was a private shuttle service provided from the port to the hotel. However just get the bus from the port as it’s half the price (€2). The room was spacious with balcony (not private). The bathroom was nice and modern. The beds were not too comfy and only provided one flat pillow.

Recently stayed here, I very much recommend not to stay here. Owner and one of the sons were an absolute nightmare to deal with. In the pool, you were not allowed splash and had to use indoor voices. Owner would also invite himself into the rooms unannounced despite the condition of the people inside. Never have anything nice to say and ban water drinks from pool area while on the other hand allowing his own drinks which cost 5 times the price to the local shop next door. Don’t ruin your holiday by staying here.

Really nice hotel in front of the beach and very close to Chora village and port. It is owned by a really nice local family who are available all day in case you need something. All very friendly, polite and helpful. I would certainly come back. Thanks

This was probably our 10th time at the Aegeon so you could say we like it. Nikos and all of the family make us so welcome and are considered as friends. Nothing is too much trouble and it was lovely to see everyone again. ||The upstairs rooms have sea views and all of the rooms have been upgraded with nice powerful showers. The pool is normally quiet and it is just a pleasure to return. Mylopotas beach is just across the quiet road.||See you all again next year,

I stayed in Aegeon hotel in August for one week. I can't recommend it enough! Nikos and his family made us feel like home. Always very helpful and responsive. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be better! We literally had to cross the road to be on the Mylopotas beach. A lot of nice restaurants and bars around. I would definitely go back!

Great family run hotel. Very good location, nice swimming pool, very friendly and helpful people (organizing your transfer from and to the port, giving you tips for drinks and restaurants, helping you when your boat schedule changes). And one of the best beaches of the island is just across the street. Very good value for money! Many thanks, we will be back!

Friendly family run hotel. Spacious rooms, excellent a/c. Right along the front| We had triple sea view balcony. Good pool with pool bar also. Pick ups and drop offs available from the port. Would definitely recommend. Friendly family team .

We where a party of 6,3 couples and enjoyed our stay so much that we already want to return in May. Nicos (father) and two of his sons(Costa and forgot the other son’s name) are the most pleasant and helpful hosts we have come across! Everything is super clean and tidy. The pool is excellent and has lounger’s and a private bar. You can walk to the bakery in one minute and get fresh pastries and coffee and come back and sit on your balcony and enjoy the view. The beach is beautiful and opposite the bakery and many restaurants and the bus stop is also outside the hotel which takes you up to Chora(the village) and also to the port for ferries.
