The lady at the reception was super friendly and did a great job . The room was unfortunately not the best ( small, a bit old and no desk) but very clean with good shower and hot water. The breakfast was quite good quality price . A good place to stay for 2-3 nights if you don't have to work in the room and it is just for sleeping. Location is good and central , I could sleep good without too much noise except neighbours 😅😅. Thank you to the staff .

Property had Parking Available listed in Booking. However when I got there, the only option is to either try to find street parking which is impossible, or pay for private parking which is €25 PER NIGHT! The beds in the hotel were terrible, I could feel all the springs. The cleanliness, and the absolutely horrendous breakfast made the experience even worse. For the price, definitely stay somewhere else.

We reserved one room in the Aegeon hotel and chose the 14m2 room for my family with a 2 year-old child. While making the reservation we also chose a baby bed. However, when we checked in the hotel they gave us a tiny room without the baby bed. We asked for a baby bed, but they did not give us one because there is no space in the room. The room is definitely not big enough for 2 people and a child. In the booking site it said that the hotel is in the best location, but it is very far away from the city center, you need to walk 30 mins when you want to go the center. Additionally we also chose the parking option for our car, but they sent us to the car park where we need to pay 14 eur extra per day. The hotel is not clean and not the best option if you plan to visit Thessaloniki. You also cant sleep because of the street noise.

Pros: 1)decent location with a supermarket right next to it 2)24h reception Cons: 1)The room was small and smelled 2)The pillow were bad 3)Some of the mattresses where old and when you tried to sleep they sunk in and you were sleeping on the planks 4)The hotel is right next to a main road so there is a lot of noice day and night 5)The view is highly dependent on the room with most of the looking into nothing

Severe Health and Safety Issues – Avoid This Hotel||||As an engineer, I approach accommodations with a critical eye for detail, and my experience at this hotel was profoundly disappointing.||||Firstly, the rooms are extremely small, offering limited space to move or store luggage. Additionally, rooms facing the boulevard suffer from excessive street noise, severely impacting sleep quality.||||More concerning is the pervasive mold smell throughout the rooms. This is not merely an inconvenience; it presents a significant health hazard due to potential respiratory issues.||||The advertised “private parking” is misleading. There is no on-site parking. Instead, guests are directed to a distant lot with exorbitant overnight fees, which is both inconvenient and deceptive.||||When we requested a refund due to these numerous issues, the hotel’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. They refused any reimbursement, leaving us no choice but to contact local authorities and the police.||||In summary, for the sake of your health and financial well-being, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The health risks and deceptive practices are unacceptable.

The so called free parking at this hotel is a scam, they actually send you in an underground private parking some street further than the hotel place itselfwith a discount voucher , where you will still have a good amount of money for a park your car there. The hotel itself is very old as well as the furniture in the chamber, it's doesn't smell fresh and the bedroom and bathroom are very small and hugely. I don't recommend this place at all.

Good location. Service is very good. The staff is helping you when you have questions . But the rooms are old and need a New look and paint. Bathrooms are ok.

Do not recommend. This is the first hotel i've ever left prematurely, despite no refund. Main reason: noise was unbearable. One third to half of rooms are situated facing one of Thessaloniki's few busiest boulevards. Noise was almost as bad at 3am as it was during rush hour. We tried closing the windows to avoid the noise - wasn't much help. Turned on the AC for some air, but it was blowing directly in our faces on the bed. We tried opening the windows late at night, as air was stale inside, only to be eaten alive by mosquitoes during the night - no nets on either terrace. This led to us waking up several times durimg the night. Rooms needed renovation several years ago. They did not smell clean. Bathroom was as big as the bedroom, not exaggerating here - no space to open a suitcase on the floor. Two terraces included in the room - none had a chair, table or ashtray for smokers. Breakfast was disappointing - little choice, not tasty. Coffee machine was gunky. Not worth the additional cost, we recommend going outside for coffee/breakfast. Staff was friendly - only reason hotel is receiving more than 1 star. Regardless, hotel was full and they couldn't move us to another room (not facing the boulevard). They did not offer any compensation, apology for the inconvenience or solution to our issue - despite the fact my wife was visibly 7 months pregnant. You could tell by their faces this wasn't the first time this was happening. We do not have high standards/expectations, yet this is the first hotel ever that did not meet them
