We enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel, the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Milos -- without a car. We arrived from Athens by ferry, and walked about 5-10 minutes to the hotel (on a side street). The staff is welcoming and over-the-top helpful in planning your trip. Our room was simple, clean, with a very modern bathroom and a nice little balcony. There was a sink and refrigerator, and a very big (modern) supermarket about five minutes away. It was easy to prepare our own simple breakfasts -- yoghurt and fruit, tea and coffee, then head out for the day. We were a 10-minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece... and on the way, along the ocean, is a string of family-owned restaurants. All of them are good, you don't need to worry too much -- but the hotel staff can also share opinions. We were also surprised to see how large and lively the downtown port area is -- many restaurants and stores, but not overcrowded. At the port, we talked to the boat vendors -- most of them professional, not at all pushy. We booked ourselves on an all day catamaran trip taking us around the entire island -- highly recommend this. The boats all go to the same places, so pick one with seating you will enjoy. On ours, we stopped to swim several times and the food prepared by our crew was wonderful. We also spent a half day at Sarakaniko beach (the moon beach) -- a can't miss experience. We were able to swim in the water seeping into the volcanic rocks. A third day, we took local buses (15 minute rides each) to Plaka the capital and to the fishing village of Polonia. Highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers -- Milos has many $$$ choices, but this delivered all we needed.

Aeolis hotel is a small family run hotel at the edge of Adamas town, easily accessible from the port. The rooms are spacy and clean. Due to late season, breakfast was not provided but a nice bakery near-by offered tasty products and good coffee. The best point is the possibility for parking outside, which is not the case in many places. Recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay in Aeolis. Only a five minute walk from the port/centre of town. Staff were so helpful booking our boat trip and organising a car for us. Looks more modern than the pictures online!

We stayed here for a nearly week. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They booked a car for us, recommended places where to go and where to eat. It is nice, quiet place, a bit out of the centre of Adamantas but still very close to all places in the town. Very clean room, the cleanservice is done every day, there is a fridge and a small kitchenette to prepare some basic food, no cooking. But why to cook if there are so many nice restaurants to eat? I would prefer a bit bigger bed and bathroom, but I think this hotel is very good value. I really recommend.

My partner and I just checked out of the Aeolus hotel after a 4 night stay. This is overall a great hotel.||Pros:|- location: only a 5 min walk to/from the ferry port. Very convenient if arriving by ferry and for any of the boat tours. Also close to bakery, pharmacy, grocery store. Plaka is only a 7 min drive away.||- service: everyone at the reception was kind and friendly. We decided at the last minute to book a car and the gentleman at the front called a couple of places to check prices and helped us find Matha Rental for 40 euros/day for a little Toyota. He also gave wonderful suggestions for things to see/do on Milos and places to avoid due to weather.||- the room was basic but clean. It had everything we needed. You can ask for beach towels at front desk.||Cons (not dealbreakers):||- amenities were basic. No conditioner||- extremely flat pillows. Had to fold in half or put cushion underneath||- thin sheets. More like a throw than a blanket. Luckily there was a heater in the room.||Overall a good hotel for the price. Would recommend if you’re not a picky sleeper.

We had a fantastic stay here in early Sept. Close enough to shops and restaurants for a quick walk, but far enough away to have the best nights of sleep we had during our entire stay in Greece. The Aeolis is family run and it shows in the attention to detail and availability to help with everything from restaurants to car rentals to advice on local sites and tours. Simply the best and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This hotel exceeded me and my friends expectations. ||The hotel was a lot closer to downtown than we thought. Only about 2-3 blocks within 5 minutes to get to plenty of shops and restaurants. The port was about a 10-15 minute walk and was easy to get to by foot. Room was very spacious which was nice so all of our luggage could be spread out, super clean, had a fridge and a balcony. ||The staff was overly gracious. Had a super warm welcome when checking in late. Front staff helped us bring our bags to the second floor and even offered to change our room because my friend sprained her ankle at an earlier island. They also were more then helpful when asking for recommendations and calling taxis. ||Checking out was great. Our ferry was coming later in the day so they offered to have us go to their sister hotel to use the pool. Pool was amazing and only a 5 minute drive from this hotel. ||Highly recommend and would stay again if going to Milos.

My two friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and we could not have been happier! The location is fantastic, it is just a 5 minute walk to the port, easy walking distance to the main attractions, shops, restaurants, car rental shops, etc. It is located at the end of a quiet street, so not noisy at all. There was also adequate parking for the hotel guests. The hotel itself was so cute and authentic, it's definitely not a luxury style hotel, but it was clean and had everything you need. It felt like going back home and staying at your grandmothers! Very nostalgic. The rooms were cleaned daily and they did a good job, and the staff were so incredibly kind. We ran out of drinking water on our last night and they were so kind as to provide us with two big bottles, even though we only asked for one. Dimitrius was such a kind and welcoming person to have at reception, he always greeted us with a smile and asked us about our day and plans whenever we were leaving or returning to the hotel. He was a wealth of knowledge and recommended us the best beach spots! We would recommend this place and would return if we ever find ourselves in Milos again!
