This is the hotel to stay at when you’re visiting Samos town. It’s walking distance to everything in town (museum, restaurants, bars, cafes just outside the door - and about 2 km walk to wine museum) , and it has a rooftop pool!
The people working here are super friendly, helpful, and want you to have the best experience of their island (and hotel). I was always met with a smile from the people in the restaurant, reception, and the housekeepers. Best customer service ever, which makes you want to come back (or just never leave).
The bedrooms are refurbished and feel very new and modern. The beds and pillows were perfect for me, not too hard , not too soft - just right!
Pool area is really nice and there is a rooftop bar too where you can eat and/or drink. I traveled the last week of August and there was always an available sun-bed regardless of what time of day you come. The pool is a little on the cold side, but in the heat that’s just perfect.
At the roof they also have a small gym, where you have one treadmill, one bicycle, and manuals (weights + a bench). I found the gym to be a bit busy the times I was planning to work out, but they also have multiple yoga mats so I brought one down to my room and did some exercises there instead.
The breakfast section is exactly what you want; eggs, bacon, sausage, feta, tomato, fruit, bread, juice, coffee, tea. The food at this hotel is really really good. I had half board, and the dinner is perfect (from menu, not buffet). (See review for food below - as they deserve some extra credit!)

Restaurant review: Do you like good food and big portions? Great drinks? Friendly staff? Then WHY are you not going to Aelios restaurant? I’m still in shock at how quiet it is here (last week of August), both at the seating by the water and closer to the hotel. Yes this is a hotel restaurant, but the food and drink is just as good (if not better) than some of the surrounding restaurants. I’ve had evenings where I’ve been almost alone, and I’m shocked by it - this place should be fully booked every day. The service is great, food amazing, drinks - A++!
Some nights they also have live music, get in early to get a seat for this - as those nights are popular!
*note: all food ordered from half board menu as I stayed at the hotel (Greek pizza, chicken burger, Greek salad, half chicken - they have a big menu, have fun ordering EVERYTHING).
