My favorite cinema in Prague — here you can see a vast selection of old films that have long since left the mainstream, as well as festival films. My absolute favourite feature is the “Blind Date” screening every first Wednesday of the month — timed with the city's siren test. The cinema chooses the movie for you, and they have excellent taste. I wholeheartedly recommend choosing a film and coming to watch — there’s no munching popcorn or blasting cola across the auditorium, just the charming, old-school cinema atmosphere.

It’s a fantastic cinema and they have good drinks service etc. Screen and seating is good. You can’t compare the atmosphere in this to the chain ones such as Flora. I don’t like most of the screenings but hey if I don’t like it I don’t go see it right. When there is something of interest and I go I always have a good time.

I used to come to this theater as a kid, having lived a few blocks up the street. I was too young to see the Planet of the Apes here, but saw the Vinetou series which shaped my childhood. Coming back to Prague, after 40 years, and rediscovering my old neighborhood which has hardly changed, aside from the addition of pizza, kebab and Vietnamese restaurants not here during communist era. I was hoping the theater was still here. ...and, to my surprise, it was. A ton of memories. A great art house film theater. Sure the seats aren't that comfortable for watching a 4 hour Once upon a time in America film..but the nostalgia remains. I was also surprised that new release. American movies were hardly filling this theater when I attended the second time. I counted less than a dozen for a first week showing of Brad Pitt's Bullet Train. The audience audibly reacting to the usual American film violence. The confectioners store next door, where mom would buy me a laskonka before the show is now a local pub...and they spiffed up the inside of the theater with a bar and some pre show food and drink options. Thank you for preserving this theater. I had a great time.

I don't like going to this cinema so much despite its' lovely past times interior design. Their seats were wobbly and not comfortable (too old, too hard, too low, no head support, too little leg space). People go back and forth for beer to the bar during the movie so there were many disturbances and unwanted lights. Also aircon was totally unsufficient: air was too humid, hot, and too little oxygenated so we didn't enjoy our cultural evening there. Otherwise we liked the beer and the bar after rhe movie. Toilets were relatively clean but missed hooks for a handbag inside the toilet cabin.

Cannot stand movie theaters in malls. So this one is a gem for me. Most close impression to "going to the cinema" from my childhood. Watched "Back to the future" there and it was amazing. Looking forward to other events. This movie theatre is great for me and I can place it in a row with Bio Oko and Lucerna cinemas. All mentioned have it's own atmosphere and each is great and worth to visit.

Kino Aero is one of my favorite cinemas in Prague. For English audiences, they screen many adored movies, including a day-long marathon of the 3 extended editions of The Lord of the Rings (one of the best movie tickets I’ve ever purchased). Amazing screen and sound. A bar/cafe is also inside. I highly recommend Kino Aero!

Lovely selection of movies. Appreciated the opening hours during Christmas holidays, could purchase a ticket 15 minutes before the screening. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood
