Aero-Sphere Flight Training

After seeing how this school has communicated with firefighting aircraft, I don’t believe they can properly teach student pilots. I would highly recommend avoiding this school because I believe it negatively affects the students.

Having an excellent time learning how to fly. CFIs are intelligent and skilled and make learning easy. The planes are in great condition and KLMO is a great airport to work from. 5/5 would highly recommend to anyone who wants to fly

I travelled from out of state to obtain my Commercial Multi Engine Add-On and was glad I did. Aero-Sphere was a phenomenal school and paired me with a fantastic DPE, Chris Farmer, for my checkride. Try to fly with the immensely talented instructor, Tyler- you won’t regret it!

I did my commercial multi rating with Aerosphere this year, and I was very impressed with the care and attention that was shown to me from the staff. I always felt welcome and confident that I was getting what I payed for. Unlike most flight schools, it was clear that the owner didn’t just want my money, but sincerely wanted me to succeed in my endeavors. The extra time and attention he devoted to making that happen really showed. Highly recommend this flight school, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is unbelievable. From the very first phone call I had with the owner to the actual flying lesson, every single step of the way far exceeded my expectations. They helped me plan a surprise flying lesson for my roommate for her birthday and even let me come in the plane with her as she flew for the first time that very day! The planes are incredibly well maintained, the staff is all super friendly and genuinely there because they love flying and want to make it as affordable as possible. You can get your first flying lesson in for just about $100 and that includes two hours of DONATED TIME by the flight instructor. If you're even the smallest bit curious, give them a call!

I had my discovery flight yesterday with instructor Keggan. It was totally an awesome experience. Keggan explained the aerodynamics of an airplane so well which made lots of things like how you control the airplane make more sense. I definitely recommend the discovery flight to see if flying is for you. For me, i was nervous but after the discovery flight, i understood that flying a small aircraft is not as hard as I thought (well the weather and conditions were pretty nice that day) and gave me courage to pursue my flight training as soon as possible! I will most likely come back to Aero-Sphere to start my training.

Pilots: Why are you NOT taking advantage of this service? Having access to a local, state of the art Redbird FMX simulator should be every pilot's dream. The simulator, along with Shane's expert instruction, provide an unmatched training environment. Want to know what it's like to experience a vacuum failure in hard IMC? Or experience an engine failure in a twin right after takeoff? Or even just gain loggable private pilot experience or instrument currency. The Redbird makes all of this possible safely and very economically. The level of immersion in the sim is amazing and Shane's ability to coach you though any scenario and provide real world examples based on his extensive flying experience makes the value of the sim even that much greater.

I came to Aero-sphere as a multi-engine student, so I have trained at a number of different places. Shane is truly top-notch. He is an expert in the industry, and he'll teach you things that you will never learn from your average, everyday instructor. He will not waste your time/money, which you will find is the case at many other places offering flight instruction. He also owns a full-motion, Redbird FMX FAA-certified simulator which you can log flight training in, and build your proficiency for a FRACTION OF THE PRICE of what it costs in the airplane. My only regret is that I didn't come across Aero-sphere earlier in my flying career; I could have saved a lot of time and money and frustration.

Great place to supplement training. What was just a simple 172 set up has grown into multiple aircraft functionality and a flourishing business. Well done sir.

Shane contacted our company, Skylarq Media, to complete a website redesign project. Although we didn't (yet!) get the chance to fly with him, his sheer volume of flying knowledge was astounding. We learned so much just through our conversations with him. His professionalism is spot on, and he clearly cares very deeply for his clients and his business.
