I had the best Sundubu Jjigae here — honestly, even better than what I had in Korea! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. Every bite was comforting and full of taste. It truly feels like real Korean home-style cooking. This is definitely the best Korean restaurant in Chennai. The quality of the food, the presentation, and the overall dining experience are just outstanding. A special thank you to Ashish and the manager R for their excellent service. They were very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Their hospitality makes us feel welcome every time. Because of the amazing food and exceptional service, we will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine in Chennai! 🇰🇷✨

Chennai is difficult. People are picky about their food, expect service at the plate-level from every restaurant and super conscious of the prices. Aesso proves that restaurants here can now break through this barrier. Genuinely authentic food, no gimmicks for Instagram and just great ingredients at the price we need to pay for it. If a restaurant is willing to plate a whole cut of meat in front of you without deep frying it and adding a tonne of condiments, you know there’s effort gone into the sourcing. I’ve visited Aesso regularly since before they showed any signs of being a restaurant from the outside. I’ve been impressed ever since. Regular order: Pork Japchae, Beef Bulgogi, Coke, Chadolbagi Never go alone, tag with a group of people so you can mix and match a bunch of the dishes. Can budget it to within ₹1000 if you’re visiting alone. As a group we’ve realised it adds up to ₹2000 per person. Well worth it. note: I’ve heard recently that the quality of their produce has reduced, but I trust I’ll be visiting every now and then to check if it’s reverted.

Visited Aeseo Korean restaurant for the first time in chennai. We have ordered chicken Gimbap , Chicken Deopbap and Virgin pinacolada. Chicken Gimbap was tooo good to have with authentic taste ✨❤️ totally 11 pieces were given. Chicken Deopbap was good with the mixture of rice , chicken , sauce , veggies etc…. Virgin Pinacolada felt like sugar water with pineapple flavour- not liked personally. And they also provide some sides to have along with our main course which were really tasty and good to have. Ambience looks cool and comfort were we can see many Korean peoples visiting for dine in. Their service was really good. Many celebrities have visited this place and we could see their pictures posted over there in a wall. All dishes here are bit costly consider to Chinese and other foods. Normal price of dishes starts from 400 and above. So, i could recommend this restaurant if anyone likes to try Korean foods in chennai. Bit costly but worth it ✨💯

The most authentic Korean restaurant in all of India. You can taste all kinds of Korean dishes just as they are supposed to be in Korea. Super delicious food and super friendly and nice staff.

Had an amazing experience at Aeseo Korean Restaurant. Ramela and Meveinai gave exceptional service — super attentive, friendly, and made us feel really comfortable. Food was great, but their hospitality made it next level. Definitely coming back.

I had given up hope on finding decent beef tartare in India until Aeseo!!! The tartare bibimbap is phenomenal - great quality! Banchan was great as well and cold fresh fruit after the meal is the best way to end a great meal.

The separate food menu and drink menu. A very upscale authentic korean restaurant which actually provides a lot of variety. We ordered jajangmyeon, jjampong and japchae which came with lots of banchans. We also had a few complimentary sidedishes that included kimchi, a kind of fish and veggies. I just wished they deboned the fish properly. On top of that we ordered honey chicken and grilled chicken. We can either choose to grill ourselves or get it grilled from the kitchen. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The food was tasty and filling. At the end we had complimentary pallate cleanser with watermelon and peach tea.

We’ve been coming to Aeseo every year since 2022 and it has never disappointed. We love the Korean BBQ, great service, courteous staff and honestly the best kimchi around. A tradition we’re happily keeping forever.
