50 Best Restaurants in India, From Kasauli to Kolkata | Condé Nast Traveler

"Run by a Korean team and sourcing meats from Korea, Aeseo brings authentic Korean barbecue to Chennai—charcoal grills at every table, Gangnam-style barbecue intensity, scallion-studded shrimp pancakes, bulgogi fried rice and a standout barbecue duck—delivered with fidelity that makes this the first Korean restaurant to appear on the list." - Karina Acharya

The food here is really authentic! Our personal fave is the chamchi gimbap and the tangsuyuk! Service was not quite there! All the servers were pretty busy and we had to keep calling them twice or thrice to get them to come and take our order. The portions are quite big and there’s no option to order half a portion. The atmosphere is very noisy! And also filled with smoke from the bbq despite the exhausts.

the service and ambience were really nice. in food, if you're new to korean food, you may be a little confused, like we were. we went for the dakgalbi gui which was great and grilled in front of you with lettuce, mushroom and onion and the lunchbox which is a good option of you want multiple options at a good rate. it had fried rice, duck, chicken, prawns, sushi and soup. all were great. they also have unlimited appetizers and salad, which is a huge bonus. all were tasty. in the end, they also gave us some watermelon and cinnamon iced tea which was a good point from them. if visiting, do ask the staff for their suggestions. if the staff is reading this, please clean or replace your menus, they are dirty/stained. washrooms were great.

I was there with my colleagues and the place was really good. I wish the people over there can communicate fluently in at least English or Hindi. Amongst 4 of us, I was only able to communicate with them. The kids were enjoying their outing, but we couldn't coz of the noise. It would have been nicer if there were more suggestions for the first timers. Parking for 2 wheelers would be a problem, there is only Valet parking for the cars, it could have been appreciated if the bikers are also respected. Overall we enjoyed it and the place was worth our visit.

Amazing, Authentic korean food that I’ve had-!! Go with an open budget.. I wouldn't say its too expensive...But you definitely need a good budget if you wanna try different dishes.. The 닭갈비 ( dakgalbi ) was too good...with plenty of sides.. I would definitely recommend the 짬뽕 ( jjampong ). And don't even get me started about the portion size, it's too good.. I'd say two of them could easily share a bowl. The service, the food, the ambiance, everything was amazing. Definitely should hit it up if you like korean food.

Had a great dining experience! The ambience was clean and pleasant. We tried the Ban Ban Fried Chicken—loved the option to pick 2 out of 4 flavors. The Chicken Grilled (Dakgalbi-Gui) was packed with flavor. A highlight was the unlimited fresh salad wraps that complemented the dishes perfectly. The Orange Passion mocktail was refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend!

This place has consistently blown my mind! The ambiance is amazing, and the food is absolutely exquisite. I always bring family / friends here to try Korean cuisine, and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better—it’s truly a Korean dream come true. I highly recommend the Ban Ban Chicken and Galbi —it’s a must-try! Valet parking is available, which is a great convenience. This has now become one of my go-to places. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious Korean food!

Have been coming and eating here regularly since the past 3 years. This is the best place for Korean food in India, hands down. Authentic recipes, served with unlimited banchan (side dishes). This place is frequented by Korean and Japanese expats, with the occasional Indian coming in. This is a heaven for meat lovers, but vegetarians, do not fret - they have expanded their vegetarian offerings and they are quite delicious. My recommendations: Barbecue - simply the best, Japchae, Bulgogi fried rice, Jiggae, Ramyeon, Dolsot Bibimbap, Fried chicken, and Hot pot For vegetarians - Tansuyuk, kimchi fried rice, Mandu dumplings, kimchi tofu, potato pancakes, Ramyeon, Bibimbap and Japchae. They used to have a mango roll cake but since discontinued. They should bring it back.
