Best deodorant for sensitive skin! I started using the spray version in the fall. Recently I went back to restock and learned of the roll-on applicator along with a second scent. I really love how clean and fresh it smells—looking for friendly, helpful staff who always put your needs front and center! I love the little touch of a cloth bag and scented spray they do. Kev was so so lovely and helpful in setting me on my Aesop fragrance journey. So knowledgeable and passionate. Had so much fun and will definitely be back soon.

I came in with a friend yesterday and the person who helped us was soooo nice. We just came in to smell around and had no intention of buying anything. The sales person let us smell all of the perfumes and I even got to try a full skin care routine on both of my hands. It was so nice and I felt so pampered both me and my friend left with a bunch of stuff. And the best part was that I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything in fact I wish I could’ve bought more stuff!

The products are pricey but they are quality. What made me give a 5 star review is service I received from Kevin H from this store on 23rd. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and knows what the customer wants and needs. I was there to exchange a gift of one of their scents that I was not that excited about and he was very patient to walk me through the different scents to help me with what would work best for me. Thanks Kevin H, you the best!

I came in looking for a replacement moisturizer from another brand and the staff was so helpful and friendly in the process. Audrey was especially helpful and talked me through all the different types and what would be a close match, and I left with something even better than I had hoped.

I’ve been to this location a few times to buy their amazing deodorant and I’ve always had a good experience. We did work training at a spa and decided to take a little break. i havnt been in for a long time since today with two of my friends and While the employee was showing me the perfumes my friends wanted to look around and he immediately said “can you guys join us over here?” I immediately was in shock the way he said it and the tone of voice because he probably thought we were going to steal. I can understand to be cautious since Portland has been getting a lot of crime but we felt targeted and maybe we didn’t dress or look nice enough for you?. My friends have never been to the store and I was excited to show them how great the products were but we did not feel comfortable after that. They wanted to look around to check other products while I was in for a deodorant but they felt like they weren’t allowed to and had to stay with him. So while he was continuing to show me the perfumes I was completely not interested so I said the vibe is very weird and we’re just going to leave. I’m very disappointed for that experience and hopefully next time it would be more welcoming ):

Lovely space. Amazing staff. I needed a gentle cleanser for my face and discovered all kinds of new soothing products for my "beauty regiment". Extremely friendly and unpretentious staff. The layout was modern, sleek and in order. Great experience and I forget the persons name who helped me but it was 10/22/19 just before close. Will def recommend for quality skin care and excellent customer service. Amazing experience.

man I love this place, and not only because my names aesop. I've went two times, two years apart and the cashiers recognized me! they served me free tea as well. they have a little step outside but you can ask to them to get out a ramp. the milk cleanser is my favorite, including the toner I just got. every thing is pricy but I think it's worth it 100%.

Expensive shit that's worth it? Mmmmmaybe not. Regardless of how you feel, I like this company for their scents only. If you walk up the street towards Aesop like my daughter and I did on NW 23rd St in the Nob Hill area of Portland, you can smell their scents before you see them! The theme colors in this shop and its packaging are amber- in their glass bottles, dark greens (packages), creams (candle holders) and blacks in container packaging. The simple layout works and that awesome sink of theirs so you can sample their hand/body soaps to sample. Even with all their skin, hair, body care, home items and fragrances, the appeal is not exclusively feminine- there are also lot of scents that are gender-neutral. The scents on the products are pretty strong as they all mix together here. However, if you smell one item at a time, you'll truly pick up on their fragrance. This is not some cheap crap on your nose- it'll cost you- but the quality is nice and they're unique. My $19 travel size Geranium body wash and $40 3.4oz Geranium hand lotion was a tough pill to swallow- but they smell great. There's a warm welcome, the staff is friendly and patient.

Every product is beautiful and smells incredible. The woman that helped us was very nice and friendly. She was not overbearing. Yes, the prices are expensive however the quality and the scents are unmatched. So glad to have a store in Portland.

Sometimes I worry that I'm not really alive. Like I'm hooked up to a machine and in mind I'm still trapped in this store talking to an associate about scent profiles, layers and top and bottom notes. Why can't I just look around. Why must I be trapped in conversation and have people wash my hands and spritz me. Skip the face skincare products. The soaps, perfume and incense is good. Leave me alone

We love Aesop products- especially my husband, who is trying his best to smell the prettiest in his office ‍... it's a weird office... Anyways- really appreciate the staff: who are knowledgeable, patient and always very willing to give out samples if you're in the ledge. Shout out to Coco (sorry Dude, forgot your real name the moment you said your nickname was Coco lol) - he's the best!

I love the minimalist packaging here. It's also low on plastics and environmentally friendly. Since I started using Aesop products last year,for my face I've gotten so many compliments on my skin. I would say, go in when you have time to work with someone to help pick out the perfect skincare regime. I use their parsley eye serum, lucent facial serum, camellia nut face cream, the lip lotion, and a face wash. I picked up summer face care items, as my skin changes with the weather, go figure. When I come I work with my fav Christin. She's helped me get my skin to glow. I even get compliments when I do video chat! Now that is a feat since I don't wear makeup. Go here and be prepared to drop some cash to get a personalized skincare regime that is environmentally friendly, gentle on your skin, and is certain to get you compliments.

My fave girl and I tried out some of their lotions in the outdoor dispenser after hours. Greaseless, very moisturizing, and we both found scents we really liked. We will be back!

I am a Aesop believer/fanatic/lover! I started off with the hand lotion, then it progressed into their lip balms and post poo drops collab with APC, and finally their skin care line. These are the highest quality and most luxurious skin care products out there. They pretty much sell themselves and I can't even say which are my favorites because they're all outstanding. If you ever get a chance or have an afternoon to kill, stop on by on their shops and the staff is so knowledgable and will help you find what you need for your skincare needs. They'll give you free samples with purchase and will even scan your samples under your name and have it in their system in case you come in and decide to purchase a full size version and forgot what you liked. Right now my current faves are the Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste, Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque and their Rejuvenate Intensive Body Balm. Can't wait to try and buy more!

On a whim to swipe some free hand cream samples, I stepped into Aesop today. The deliverer of this treat ended up being my knowing guide to Portland. He was generous with his time and considerate in his recommendations, and kindly stashed away a handful of sample goodies along with my purchase at the end of the visit. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but if you're ever in, look for the nice man sporting flowing long black locks.

Pretty amazing. Skin care for men and women. And a line of shaving accoutrements. I LOVE the smells. Very earthy, and no, I don't mean just patchouli. The wonderful smells here are subtle, and James ( one of the staff ) is just fantastic. Very helpful and honestly, his hands are as soft as a baby's skin.

Great hand lotion with many natural oils that leaves your skin very moisturized yet still light and non-greasy. They have a citrus (grapefruit, orange, and lemon) scented lotion which was very fresh. Their scents are nuanced, natural, layered, and composed of delightfully unexpected combinations. I would compare Aesop to Jo Malone London or Fresh but when I did a direct comparison of grapefruit scented body lotions, Aesop turned out to be more luxurious feeling and the scent more complex and refined. Alex was very helpful and the store is a very calming and peaceful place. Great opportunity to stop by for a little relaxation!

Definitely some nice items if you feel like treating yourself! It's a very luxury-esque naturale aesthetic and they have some lovely items for the face and body. If you're curious about a product, they are great at giving samples and keeping a record in their database of what worked and what didn't for you. Their masks are especially nice but I absolutely adore their fragrances! Kind of unisex but very sexy and natural. Some products I like more than others and find are more effective than others but it's a nice spot to play around with some items that make you feel fancy and pampered.
