Aethos Corsica

Exceptional! Outstanding staff, beautiful location, excellent food in a great outdoor setting, spacious comfortable room Terrace Room).||Cute little village in the hills, Pretty drive from Bastia and only 15 minutes from Saint Floren.

We now have been back in NYC for one week since our most wonderful 5-night stay at the Aethos and still miss waking up there each morning! First and foremost, everyone who works at this gorgeous hotel are just wonderful!! As soon as you arrive there, you feel you are being welcomed by a family (which you are!) who are so friendly and have the best local tips. It was an absolute bonus to have all of our restaurants booked for us as each place was unique from the other and fantastic food. Plus, so many local tips on where to travel on the island. I typically end a review with thanking the people who run a hote, but I must thank everyone there first--each of you made our stay so special!! ||The hotel itself is beautiful--set on the side of a mountain with the most glorious pink sunset and a view of the Mediterranean in the distance. We opted for a deluxe room and it was so worth it--it was super quiet and had a spectacular view of the village lights all lit up at night. Plus, a very big and a wonderful tub with great bath products too. Big, comfy bed as well!|The pool is an extra bonus after traveling around all day---we are usually "on the go", but one of the best days of the trip was just lounging at the pool and then getting a massage at the hotel---promise you will love it!||We already have recommended the Aethos to friends and family and so want to come back. The town of Oletta is quite special and make sure to get up early and take a morning walk there and visit the most lovely church.||Thank you to everyone at the Aethos for giving us such a special trip--we hope to see you again!|Rachel and David

I had a lovely 5 night stay, my room was an incredibly spacious suite, stylish and understated. The location is lovely and peaceful, I was looking to have a quiet and relaxing stay and managed exactly that. |All of the staff were delightful, charming and helpful. I would certainly recommend a stay here. If you are planning on dining in St Florent or would like to explore I would recommend hiring a car. The hotel can arrange for their driver to take you into town if required.

I can't say enough about this hotel, particularly the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to all of our needs during our stay. From the basket of beach towels and umbrellas provided for our beach days to the amazing sailboat excursion they arranged for us and the wonderful conversations about local history and wine, everything was incredible. They took their time to get to know us and help us figure out how to best enjoy our experience in Corsica. The pool and grounds are beautiful and the rooms are even better than the pictures. The little town of Oletta is accessible by a short walk up a picturesque set of stairs behind the pool and there you will find a lovely church, 2 good restaurants, and an ice cream bar. The entire experience was perfect. This is an amazing place to spend a Corsican vacation.

A beautiful hotel. Lovely, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. A stunning location with a great view, it sits in a little town just above the coast couldn't have been more perfect for us, highly recommended.

A beuatiful property and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Perfect place to relax and unplug. The staff were delightful and helpful, gave lovely tips on areas to explore in Cap Corse, restaurants to vist, and were very responsive before and during the stay. The hotel is an excellent location to explore northern Corsica.

Need some work on the welcome process. Why ask guess to enter details into the hotel app to self-check-in? When I pointed out that the name of the hotel isn't what shows on the big sign by the road, I was told by the receptionist that I was wrong and the name showed at the top of an A4 piece of paper; duh. Then almost an argument when we said we'd like a proper shower rather than to stand in a polished bath. That led to "can't change, etc." Ignored reception thereafter and things were much better but it was a bad start.

Beautiful property with incredibly friendly staff. It is the perfect place to explore Cap Corse and northern Corsica. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff — they felt like friends after four days! This was my second stay at an Aethos property and will definitely not be my last.
