Aethos Sardinia

We spent 5 days here in September. The setting was magical. The room was great. The private dipping pool was larger than some of the private pools I've had at other hotels. I appreciated all the toiletries. Breakfast was great also. The reason we picked Aethos over other hotels is because of it's location. It's a short pleasant walk along the water to Cannigione. So we didn't didn't always have to drive if we wanted to go out for lunch or dinner, or visit some shops. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. The whole experience was just very relaxing and exceeded my expectations.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always friendly, professional, and attentive to every need with discreet efficiency. The overall service was impeccable:every detail was taken care of, from the spotless cleanliness of the entire hotel to the small daily touches that made the stay truly enjoyable. The room was spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere ensured a perfect night’s rest. The modern, well-equipped bathroom added to the overall sense of comfort. The hotel restaurant was one of the highlights of the stay: carefully prepared dishes, fresh high-quality ingredients, and a menu that combined local flavours with creativity. The dining staff were equally excellent:attentive without being intrusive, and always ready to recommend the perfect wine or dish. In short, a flawless stay in every aspect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality, relaxation, and a warm yet professional welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Aethos Sardinia is even more beautiful in person than it looks online. The service, breakfast, and staff were all excellent. They were extremely attentive to my dietary restrictions. I mentioned that I am gluten-free and dairy-free and the staff went out of their way to provide dairy-free yogurt for me at breakfast every morning. They also made sure I had gluten-free bread already set at my table before I even sat down, which shows the level of care and attention to detail. I would definitely come back and stay in this hotel in the future.

The hotel and its rooms are very dated, lack attention to detail and truly do not present as a 5 star resort / hotel. It's not charming and it just feels unfinished. Food quality was poor, and so we skipped breakfast after our first day and didn't even use all of our 100 euros of free dining credit. There's no spa and their private beach is so disappointing that even the reception staff told us that we would be better off going somewhere else (I appreciated her honesty). This was the low point of our honeymoon, it's absolutely not worth the money and I would look elsewhere. The other 5 star hotels we stayed at during our trip absolutely blew Aethos out of the water.

Overall a very big disappointment. Despite being advertised as a 5-star establishment, our experience fell far short of expectations in several areas: 1. Transportation: The driver provided was reckless and used their phone throughout the journey, compromising safety. 2. Check-in: Front desk staff were unable to locate our reservation and failed to provide essential information about the resort. 3. Accommodation: Our room lacked the promised view as well as being situated in a very noisy location. Also, the private pool was very small and more like a plunge area. 4. Dining: The single restaurant offered limited options with mediocre quality food and service. Due to these issues, we were compelled to cut our planned six-night stay to just one night. Based on our experience, we would definitely not recommend. Absolutely not worth the price.

From the moment we entered Aethos Sardinia we felt welcomed! Refreshing fresh juice and prosecco was offered in the beautiful lobby and then we were given a brief tour of the hotel and gorgeous grounds while our car was parked and bags were brought to the room. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable overlooking one of the 2 pools and an amazing view of the sea. We were celebrating our anniversary and there was a nice note, cake, champagne, etc waiting for us. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and all of the staff was very helpful with recommending beaches or restaurants in the area. Cannigione was a cute town and good location for exploring Sardinia. Highly recommend...you will not be disappointed!

The views are arguably the best in Costa Smeralda. The service is exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to satisfy any request. I proposed while in Sardinia and Alessandro was extremely helpful in setting me up with a local photographer and advising us on all the best locations for photos. The photographer he connected us with was 1st class as well. The rooms are fantastic. I love that they provide a Dyson hair dryer in every room - perfect example of the level of luxury down to every detail.

An amazing property with exceptional service - truly beyond a 5-star experience. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly welcoming.||The F&B offering really exceeded expectations: breakfast features handmade products, lunch is all about fresh, easy bites perfect to be enjoyed by the pool, and dinner is a delicious mix of Mediterranean flavors and traditional Sardinian dishes.||The hotel’s event programming adds great energy to the stay, with BBQ nights, DJ sets, and live music creating a vibrant atmosphere.||Both pools are fantastic, but the infinity pool deserves a special mention - it’s a true sanctuary of relaxation, where you can unwind in nature’s silence with a great drink in hand. The hotel also offers a private beach deck to enjoy the sun and take a swim. ||The gym is also impressive: super well-equipped with all the essentials. Honestly, it was the first time I actually enjoyed working out on vacation! Last but not least, the in-house boutique is full of little gems waiting to be discovered.||Finally, the team is wonderful. From the General Manager to every staff member, there’s a genuine sense of care and attention. The Guest Experiences team goes above and beyond, creating special moments and unforgettable experiences for every guest.||I would definitely recommend staying at Aethos Sardinia!
