AETOMA Traditional Hotel Guesthouse

Such a lovely family run hotel. We have no complaints! The room was spacious and cool (suddenly Greece was hot), the breakfast great (I had not had a homemade omelette for a while!). Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the balcony as it was too hot but on a less hot day/stay what a great option and lovely view. There really wasn’t anything that was too much trouble - so friendly. Thank you so much.

This was such a lovely surprise. We had high expectations based on the photos, but the real experience exceeded them. The hotel is incredibly romantic and fits the character of the city perfectly. The atmosphere is just wonderful, the staff were very kind, and the breakfast was delicious. I honestly can’t fault a single thing – it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!

Location, location. Parked the car at the port and took luggage in, was a straight shot. There is another hotel across the street where we had breakfast. Room was great! Help with the luggage. Breakfast is customized and they are very attentive to what you want, accommodated my dairy free diet.

Beautiful historic small family hotel. Pleasant visually, with a delicious scent wafting and quiet music playing. The bed was cozy with nice linens. Our view over old town street was charming and the breakfast was ample and yummy and consisted of local Greek items. In the center of everything, making it easy to pop back to our room during the day. 10/10 would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel located at a historically important square of Nafplio. The hotelier family has an excellent sense for detail which you can see in every corner of the old, but very well kept building. We got the room on top with a uniquely large veranda, perfect to cool off during hot greek summer nights. Breakfast was also lovely, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Cute, family run with a rustic feel, yet modern rooms with everything you could need. Location perfect, as it’s just off the Main Street for shopping and restaurants, a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the start of the steps that lead to the fortress. Also, our beautiful balcony overlooking the square was perfect for early evening drinks. Everyone from the man on reception to his mother and others who help with breakfast were always so smiley and happy to help. Breakfast itself was one of the best we’ve ever had with fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, eggs, bacon, savoury and sweet pastries as well as toast all available! This is the only place you should think about staying if you come to Nafplio! ❤️

This place is a true gem. The staff is so friendly, from the owner to the housekeeper. The location is perfect, right in the center of the old town, yet away from the noisier streets. Our room had an amazing view of the fortifications above the town. All the amenities are provided in the room, down to robes and slippers, coffee makers, etc... Breakfast was very copious. I would recommend this place to my best friends and family! Thanks to all the staff that made our stay so special, in particular Akkis, who spent some time with us talking about restaurants and places to go.

This is a wonderful small hotel, with just five rooms. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, large, and rooms on one side of the building overlook the square and with views of Palamidi fortress. The lovely house has been in the family for more than two centuries and it has more of a guesthouse feel with personal attention of the owners. Akus, who runs the property with his mother, was always available to help and advise; very engaging with the guests; and provided us tips on things to see and do (for example, the Saturday market, which was a nice bonus experience). The service orientation was top-notch.|Breakfast was large and fabulous, served either in the common room or on your balcony. Your choice of eggs, with fresh squeezed orange juice, breads, Greek pies and pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. It was nice to have water in the fridge in the room.|Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked very well.
