AETOMA Traditional Hotel Guesthouse

A true hidden gem in Nafplio that exceeded all expectations! The breakfast was incredible — homemade Greek pies and pastries, fresh bread with local jams, and perfectly cooked eggs, all enjoyed with breathtaking views of the old town. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and quiet, with excellent air-conditioning — impressive for a historical building that beautifully combines traditional charm and a noble character with modern comfort. The family-run staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, offering maps, great restaurant and sightseeing tips, and helpful advice for exploring the town. A perfect mix of Greek hospitality, comfort, and culture — highly recommended for couples, groups, solo travelling and business trips!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had the top floor room, which is spacious and beautiful. All the windows open to incredible views of the town! Feels like you're in a fairy tale. Very centrally located, and service was top notch. Be aware that the breakfast is quite a spread - be hungry and feel free to decline items if it's too much for you. 😊

Such a lovely family run hotel. We have no complaints! The room was spacious and cool (suddenly Greece was hot), the breakfast great (I had not had a homemade omelette for a while!). Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the balcony as it was too hot but on a less hot day/stay what a great option and lovely view. There really wasn’t anything that was too much trouble - so friendly. Thank you so much.

Can’t speak highly enough of this place. The hosts, mother and son team Panayiota and Akis are unbelievable and unbeatable. The rooms are sensational, located right in the middle of the old town. The breakfast is as you want it, nothing too hard to make you happy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

Perfect. Comfortable bed, beautiful room and the staff very welcoming. Breakfast is served in the hotel opposite and is big. Expect eggs with bacon, pastries, cakes, yogurt, fruit, granola. You will be stuffed. Would definitely stay here again.

This was such a lovely surprise. We had high expectations based on the photos, but the real experience exceeded them. The hotel is incredibly romantic and fits the character of the city perfectly. The atmosphere is just wonderful, the staff were very kind, and the breakfast was delicious. I honestly can’t fault a single thing – it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!

Wonderful experience. Great service. Right in the center of old town, which is such a lovely, quaint village. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. Make sure you try the Greek yogurt! Best I’ve ever had.
