African View Lodge

Very friendly staff, nice rooms, and good food- we enjoyed the stay very much! |But even more perfect was the Safari with our guide Frank, who did a perfect job. Also, the coffee roasting was a nice experience, where we were welcomed and nicely treated. Here, our guide Noel made it a great day!

Super starting point for Arusha National Park safaris. Nice rooms and super friendly personal.

Upon arrival I stayed in Rm 10, the first thing I noticed was the theme for the room, each room was different and I enjoyed viewing all the different ones from the people in our group. The rooms were clean and welcoming. We traveled in a large group of 18 people, so our group took a majority of the rooms at the resort. The staff was very friendly and very caring, making sure that we were always taken care of and had everything we needed. The infinity pool was clean and cool, which was nice with the rising heat outside. Food was amazing, and good portions. The lunch boxes provided for safari days were filling. We never went hungry or thirsty. The massage I received on the last day when we had returned to this resort was an amazing hour long experience. She is very good at what she does. Highly recommend both the resort and the massage!

Wow! This lodge is incredible. The grounds are amazing, room was very quaint and cozy, and the food was just remarkable. I didn’t want to leave. They build a fire too at night. Just a really special place. I came here after Arusha National Park on my way to Tarangire.

Like many people, the African View was the start and end point for our safari with Wilkinson Tours, who also run this lodge.||We really cannot fault our stay here - the rooms were generously sized and well equipped, clean and tidy, with large double beds (complete with mosquito nets which were turned down every night) and a very spacious bathroom, with plenty of hot water. ||All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and plentiful, and beers were reasonably priced. Popcorn and drinks served by the pool were a lovely touch.||Overall, really highly recommended.

After a massive Safari trough Kenia Maasai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, we were happy to hop in the pool, and laze in the sun with a drink. |Great location, tranquil, great food. We were just tired and some sunshine and warm temperatures was just what we needed. Great stop to catch up with other individual and group travelers.
