Absolutely amazing pizza. We ordered a couple personal pizzas so we could take advantage of the wonderful variety of flavours. My dad ordered the Whispers (shroom) and the Marley, while I went for the meat and got the Hendrix and the Jackie Brown. Perfect unique blend of ingredients on delicious deep dish pizza. The cheese pulls were divine. Friendly and quick service. Highly recommend. Realistically take out only though.

What a beautiful day it is when YOU FINALLY FIND THE PIZZA OF YOUR DREAMS. The owner's name is Rodney, but I really think he should change it to Pablo Pizza Picasso. The man is a Chef! He's an artist! And he knows flavor profiles and he knows how to make it work using Detroit Style Pizza as his canvass. Today I tried the Hendrix, the Prince and the Jerk Chicken Alfredo! And let me tell you it didn't disappoint. When you get to Afro's Pizza Place expect a wave of happy people waiting in line and sitting outside enjoying the wonders of such an great culinary treat. Afro's Pizza just doesn't make good pizza it also brings people to together. Rodney, you're the next Superstar of Toronto! Lights! Camera! Action!

Keith Lee is the reason I decided to try out their pizza today. I was happy to get recommendations. I tried the King and Jacky brown pizzas. They had a deal where you buy 2 personal pizzas for $20 which wasn’t bad. The wait time for the pizza was 20-25minutes and was perfect on a nice sunny breezy day. Once the pizza came out it was loaded. A little messy for my liking but I enjoyed nonetheless. Out of the 2 pizzas, the Jacky Brown Pizza was my fav. It had a hint of spice and sweetness to it. The King was also good. Just a burger on a pizza basically. would definitely go back to try more!

I thought the reviews were too good to be true, but honestly was a really good experience. My first time eating Detroit style pizza and the food was really good. They have so many unique topping combinations on their menu, its amazing. Price wise the personal pizza was pretty good as well. Owners are super friendly and fun to talk to. Would highly recommend.

Amazing amazing amazing pizza! The balance of flavours in each pizza is fabulous. The Hendrix chicken and waffles was an experience! It was my favourite of the three we tried. I loved watching the gentlemen making our pizza put so much detail into each and every slice so that every bite had a bit of each topping. Brilliant attention to detail. Incredibly friendly service and unbelievable prices for the quality.

At first I came here for the mushroom pizza and I kinda didn't like it (2/5) but I came back with my friend and got the chicken and waffles and it was really good! My friend got the pepperoni and that was also pretty good but the chicken and waffles was better. I really wanna try the jerk chicken one now. This place is connieats certified.

Tried the chicken & waffles + Bruce Leeroy. The crust is AMAZING, the flavour combinations are unique (watermelon + tequila on pizza!), & you get the perfect bite because everything is balanced. There are some rotating items on the menu, no dine in but you can order ahead, & everything is made on the spot. Not only are the owners very friendly, they are truly passionate about the food they’re making. It’s worth the travel downtown. I hope to see them in other parts of the GTA soon!

Even without Keith Lee's review, this place's food was fantastic. I wasn't able to finish my pizza but the next day was amazing too. The flavour combos on the Hendrix and the Jackie Brown were balanced and flavourful. I will absolutely be back for more. The mac n cheese could use a bit more salt and they really do need a bigger place, which is what post a star in the atmosphere category (that hurt to do but I have to be honest, standing in the rain for my food wasn't it), but that was soon forgotten at my first bite
