I stopped by for lunch, and at first it didn't look like it was open. All tables inside and out were set up with white tablecloths but there were no customers and the lights were off inside. I noticed the door was unlocked and went in to check it out. A few moments later someone came out from the back and confirmed they were open for business. She turned on the music and TV but didn't turn on the lights, though in all fairness, the place has lots of windows and natural light. I chose a table and reviewed the menu, which is helpful with photos. Though the entrees looked great and interesting, I really wanted something light and inexpensive, so I got the butternut squash soup and the vinegret salad (beets, carrots, pickles, and peas). Both were fine and satisfying, but nothing stellar and not much flavor or spice. I look forward to trying some entrees and desserts as they look really good. I hope this place makes it but they need to do something more to attract interest. First of all, turn on the lights. Put out the sandwich boards and perhaps prop the door open. Make it appear like you want customers. The tablecloths on outside tables at lunch might turn off some potential guests, because this area has many small casual family-owned restaurants. However by the time I left there were a few groups of guests sitting outside.
