A lovely experience at Afsona. Exceptionally pleasant and professional staff and delicious food. A lovely way for a tourist to sample classic Uzbek dishes and start a trip in this very cool country.

The BEST food in all of Uzbekistan. We were served by the nicest host, Dr Babur, who helped us in choosing the authentic Uzbekistani food , we tried many dishes , and the best one was the barbecue lamb on a skewer . Maty stuffed with beef was very delicious . It was a night to remember. Thanks to ALL .

Very tasty food and a great introduction to Tashkent! Our friendly server Ali even gave us some good tour recommendations. The restaurant was very busy when we were there and unfortunately they were out of some of the dishes we wanted to try; will have to go back.

We are from Saudi Arabia.. My rating for the restaurant is excellent.. The atmosphere is cozy, the food was delicious, our orders were.. crispy eggplant salad, mixed grills, and three types of samosa, with meat, potatoes and spinach.. The samosa dough was crispy and delicious.. My only advice is that they pay attention to the type of meat inside the samosa, it had a lot of cartilage and this bothered me, but in general the food is delicious and the service is excellent, especially the waitress Aysuiu, she was very cooperative and nice.💞

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food! Everything I ordered was amazing and I left with a very full tummy. The service was fantastic and all the waiters I interacted with spoke English. The menu was also in English and clearly descriptive. I would 100% go back again and highly recommend it to anyone

We came here on a recommendation from friends who had visited the year before. The menu offers all the Uzbek classics "refined for tourists, with less fat and oil." We tried about seven dishes, all of them delicious. A few options available for vegetarians. Our server Saddam was lovely, helpful and informed. Would go back and recommend to others.

Loved the ambience. Authentic Uzbek food. Visited in a group of 6. Recommend: salads (indicated in picture), Uzbek rice with lamb, beef manti and chicken shishburak. Waiter Abdulaziz was super friendly and speaks English. We asked him for some recommendations of places to visit.

Busy and popular restaurant with a great selection of local dishes and drinks so perfectly cold they’re almost frozen. It all would probably be best experienced outside on the sidewalk seating, though as a lone diner I was only offered an inside table
