It was my first time at this venue, definitely a spot to look out for if you want delicious cocktails and a good vibe. I liked the decor and definitely like places that host dancing. Heard the food was good but the servíce was a bit slow, they didn’t realize the volume of people that would show up to the event and had one bartender handling multiple orders from the tables to the bar which made the wait feel endless. I ended up not getting a drink the first time but did try again when they finally had a second bartender come in to help.

My first experience at this bar it easily became my favorite in the area. The staff is so friendly and make you feel very taken care of, and the drinks are amazing. The bartenders really try to ensure you have a great night and are very professional and good at what they do. Rudy made one of the best dirty martinis I’ve ever had

This place is awesome! Owner (Rudy) has created an absolute gem. The versatility and execution of this bar is second to none. Whether you want craft beer or incredible original craft cocktails, they do it all. Great music and vibes met with even better people is what you get here. You won’t find a bar with better customer service either.

i’ve made it a habit to come here when i’m having a bad day. their cocktails are great, bartenders will make you anything you want, and the quesadilla is *muah* chefs kiss. this place deserves the most hype!

I was there Friday night with my sister and a friend we each ordered a drink they were about $12-20 each and today that I checked my card transaction I was charged 5 dollars extra on my drink. I didn’t leave a tip because the drink was horrible it was a Moscow mule, he put tequila instead which I requested but it tasted like watered down tequila and a lot of ginger no lime and no other flavor it was super spicy but I drank it anyway. My sister got charged $15 extra aside from her drink which was $12. Check your transactions after you attend this place.

I can’t get enough lol !! I’ve been here couple times and they never disappoint. Rudy & the rest of the staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. They have amazing cocktails, with a Unique taste and all the ingredients are fresh. My favorite cocktail is “VOLVIO LA TRAICIONERA” I had to many . Also, they have a good selection of draft beer.This place is so cozy and creative, perfect to relax and have a sip of your drink after a long day. Must try the food here, authentic flavor. Chef Frances, your empanadas are delicious (Cocotazo LLC). I will definitely keep coming back !

Mike really made the best drinks for my crew, I brought my family here for the first time and they loved it.. definitely coming back 10/10. Favorite bat in the neighborhood

Obsessed! Vinyls line the walls while the bartender darns suspenders and I'm instantly transported to another time. I'm glad I got to see the bar striped down, and before I came in for a themed night. I got to see it in its full form. It's gothic charm is mysterious and inviting. I wanted to stay there all night, but I was only there for two drinks. The first one was the "Fancy Tin Cookie" and it tasted like dessert. There was literally a cookie in this whiskey based cocktail. My next beverage was a creation by the bartender which was a pineapple rum cocktail. This was exactly what I was looking for. Something light, refreshing, but not too sweet. This was a lovely experience, and I look forward to coming back for sure.

Who says I'm a Yelp Elite? I am! Today I went here all by myself on a nice Tuesday evening after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q to go to my tenth Yelp Elite Event feeling pumped. The service there was also attentive and pleasant. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time.

Aftermath is a newer cozy bar in Ridgewood that has the perfect balance of relaxing ambiance and tasty drinks. My friend and I stopped in yesterday evening for a quick drink and the rosé cider that I chose was absolutely delicious. They play vinyl for the music at this bar which is a big plus, and shoutout to the bartender for putting on a Sade album! It really set the mood. Will definitely be back in the later evening soon to see what it's like at night.

Aftermath has it all food, drinks, excellent service. It's a dark vibey place with plenty of seating at the bar and throughout. They have a vast vinyl collection in which they play but they also have great dj's come through. The food menu is limited so it's not a place to come to for dinner. The bartenders are so nice and well-versed on beers and know how to make an excellent cocktail. In fact, they are constantly creating their own recipes and always killing it.

A cute neighborhood bar. Stopped in the have a catchup with friends. Very relaxed place with great service. If you are trying to go out and keep a low profile this is the place to be. I didn't not have any food and don't recall them having any.

Hubby and I decided to venture from New Jersey to this gem in NYC. They were having an "Eats and Beats" session curated by DJ Eli all on Vinyl. Safe to say, the long trip was well worth it. Great eats, beats and excellent service. I had a Smash Burger with Fries and Hubby had Jerk Chicken Sliders. So, if you're ever in the area. Stop by and have a drink or two. #livelaughlove

Attentive bartenders, great drinks, plenty of room to sit or stand, and comforting vibe (I'm a woman who went alone after midnight). Will def be adding to my return list!

Bierwax is a cute spot to hang with friends or meet new ones. The menu had a nice variety of beers and an impressive cocktail list. The Deep Purple cocktail was quite tasty. I loved the retro 70's music (which turned into r&b and hip hop later in the evening) and the extensive record collection that spanned the room. The relaxed vibe of the bar was very welcoming and I was very happy that the music wasn't too loud. If I am in the area, I would definitely make a "bee line" to Bierwax!

Love Bierwax in Brooklyn and this new Queens location doesn't disappoint. Rudy, Ariel and Chris and the crew are super friendly. Full bar and great beers on tap. Always a great selection. SO many albums. Such good music. Always different. Always cool choices. Don't ask for a song lol they do not have the time (or the patience) for requests. Just drink and relax and hang with a cool vibe.

Drinks were delicious and well made. Appetizers were also good. Looking forward to going back. Service was a little slow but worth the wait.

Amazing bar! Ive been coming here since before it was aftermath. I love this place and the owners/ bartenders are so kind and talented. Vibes are immaculate and I'm shocked this place isn't more popular yet.

This place quickly became my favorite place to go to. First off, if you're looking for a place with great beer selection, you've found the right place, and if you're looking for a place with amazing cocktails you've found the right place. I've been to many bars and none of them can toe the line of having both areas done so well as bierwax queens. When it comes to food, while their menu is small, the Grilled Cheese with Fig Spread is DELICIOUS and you can even add Prosciutto. Next, the staff is incredible, Rudy, Ariel, Bailey, and Chris are the best. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they will help you decide on what to have if you ask. Quick service even on crowded nights and very accommodating. Now the actual look of the place. This is a stand out in Ridgewood. From the vinyls lining the walls, to the Star Wars figures and helmets, this place is just, for a lack of a better word, DOPE. It is extremely spacious, with two sofas you can sit on, but if you're like me, the bar seating is the place to be. They also have high top tables if you come with a Small group or even a large crowd. Along with high ceilings, amazing decorations and art, you will not be disappointed by this place. If you're like me, the music at a bar is extremely important. This place has an AMAZING music selection and it just keeps growing, you'll find yourself bobbing along to songs you know and also learning about new music and enjoying that as well. Along with DJs who come through and put in a clinic on certain days you'll have an amazing time. I know this review is very long but i had to try to do this place justice.

This spot is dope! The aesthetics and drinks were on point. Pretty standard at $12 a pop average for cocktails. There's space in the venue that can be used better but maybe it was just the night that I was there. I'd come back.

Lives up to the Bierwax reputation! I think fourteen beers on draft with all being craft and local options. Great music and awesome space. Came here with a large group and they were well prepared. Bartenders were outstanding! Looking forward to many great times here.

This was a cute & chill place to go to on a Saturday afternoon. The music selection was also pretty good especially considering they only play music from a record player so very different. Service was very personable and was able to enjoy drinks based on our taste.

Awesome local lounge bar etc... it could have so many labels in a good way, in the end it's just a great place to chill, listen to great music and have few amazing drinks. Great spot for hangout, date or night out. the bartender Rudy made some great drinks and very cool. Can't wait to go back.

One of the best nights I've had in NYC. Bierwax's Staff was very amazing and I would recommend this place to everyone. their selection of beer Was outstanding.

If you like amazing drinks, music, and vibes, this is your spot. Bartenders and owners are the coolest people, extremely friendly and knowledgeable people. There's a drink for everyone here all kinds of tastes and has a dope artsy aesthetic inside. Great for a date spot or just hanging with friends, no nonsense just good drinks and vibes.

Excellent selection of local brews. Great atmosphere. Decent food. The decor is a brilliant homage to deejaying and vinyl collectors.

Had a great time visiting this newly opened / renovated spot. Great selection of alcoholic and non options in a large open space. Very friendly owners with an incredibly large selection of vinyl music options. A good space to bring friends for a game night, I'll bet.

The cocktails here were great, and so was my date. They spin killer records at this place, all so dissimilar from one another, and yet still cultivating a great atmosphere for visitors. There's plenty of space and some cute seating areas. The only thing I didn't care for was that the bartenders seemed a little disinterested in helping people navigate the drink menu (which to be fair, had incredible drinks on it). If you're in the neighborhood, you definitely need to check this place out.
