Ordered an expensive winter GORE-TEX blazer based on product photos. Received a completely different summer blazer instead. The owner admitted in writing: "You've indeed received a different model than pictured" but insisted they were the same item and offered only €87 compensation for my €480+ losses including import taxes.
Items sold as "brand new and unworn" arrived with visible wear marks inside.
When I asked for proper compensation under consumer law, the owner called my complaint "extortion" and threatened legal action against me.
UPDATE: Owner's response contains false claims:
- No "50% discount coupon" was ever offered in correspondence - only vague future "goodwill" mentioned
- Different fabric (GORE-TEX vs regular), different cut, different SKU are MATERIAL differences under EU law, not "subtle"
- Only one previous exchange occurred (damaged tote), not multiple complaints as implied
- The "full refund" offered excludes €55 import duties I paid due to their error and requires me to pay return shipping - not a lawful remedy under EU law for non-conforming goods
Order #3744, August 2025. All correspondence documented.
