We had 4 nights at Aga Reef after completing an 8 day cycle tour of Savaii with a group booked through Outdoor Samoa. We hired a car on Upolo and chose to stay at Aga Reef as wanted to treat ourselves to some extra comfort and explore the southern side and the Lalomanu area. Our waterfront villa was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the coral reef and beyond. After sleeping in fales with the mattress on the floor we found the bed to be a little soft (Haha!!). |The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had our clothes washed for 50 tala and returned the next morning. The daily menu remains the same each day however with a car we did visit Taufua fales for 2 evening meals as we had a friend staying there. We can recommend the Cannelloni and the Beef stirfry for dinner. The breakfast options were all great and we managed to choose two and share between ourselves eg eggs bene and pancakes. Having a small fridge with milk and filtered water was great too.|The lagoon is the best place for snorkeling with many different species of fish. We took the kayak out oneday however you do need to go at high tide. The outdoor shower was great for getting the sand off. The gardens surrounding are well maintained and the ground staff member helpful with the bags etc. |Beautiful Samoan resort and 4 days was the right amount of time for us:)

ONLY there for Lunch. very pleasant place for lunch. They take card and Cash. We enjoyed the service of the staff. Polite, little Shy but very welcoming. We all enjoyed our food so much! Chicken curry wasn’t spicy but very strong curry flavour my sister loved it . She would recommend. I got the steak burger was solid for the price. I will say the steak burger at ( Eagles Wings hotel/ restaurant main side Apia is better) but I still enjoyed it. I would add salt and pepper to the tomatoes. Fish and chips were 10/10. My dad got taro chips instead of Potato fries. For me they were dry but dad loved them. The fish was lovely. More of a heartier fish, yellow tuna is then Masi or Spain mackerel But very fresh and lovely.

I recently stayed at this establishment, and I must say my experience was mixed. First of all, I was very disappointed with the service at the restaurant. There is a significant issue with staff training, as my orders were misunderstood several times, and I received dishes I hadn't requested. Additionally, some of the staff had difficulty understanding English, which complicated communication. My arrival in the room was also not very pleasant. We found hundreds of dead flies in the bathroom and on the bed sheets, which is not very welcoming for a first night. However, after cleaned up, I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the tranquility it offered. The housekeeping was always done meticulously. There are several activities missing to enhance the stay. There was no hairdryer in the rooms, which would have been convenient. Considering the price of the hotel for a week, we expected much better overall. Despite these shortcomings, I want to highlight the kindness and availability of the reception staff. Their warm welcome greatly contributed to improving our experience. Finally, the setting of the establishment is idyllic and soothing, which remains a positive aspect of our stay. Overall, there is potential, but some improvements are necessary to make the experience truly enjoyable.

Lovely Resort on the southern coast of Samoa. Our room was fantastic and had aircon which after being the the heat all day was perfect! Super lovely staff. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered lots of great options. Quiet resort that is well suited for couples.

Stunning place. Very restful. We were in a bungalow over on the ridge. Absolutely amazing views looking back on to the main island. Great snorkeling at high tide. Great that the hotel manager is working to conserve the reef and very happy to share his knowledge. Food was great and making healthy vegetarian dishes for me was really appreciated.

Absolutely the best hotel of our five day trip. Excellent service, great rooms, very clean, very accommodating, beautiful views. Thank you for making a stressful time in Samoa a lot better. |We booked one night 3 x rooms, but ended up staying 2.

The outright quality of Aga Reef Resort is quite simply superb! |Pristine Location, if you are looking for a quiet get away with breath taking scenery and vibrant reef to explore at your fingertips look no further. |The rooms are modern with some of the comfiest beds on the island. |The service provided to both my partner throughout our stay and was outstanding, even considering we had some peculiar asks. Particularly I would like to highlight Va at Front Desk who was extremely helpful throughout our stay and both Sonny and Albert for holding down the Restaurant and Bar.

Aga Reef Resort is a must visit. The Ocean View & Villas are beautiful, the staff and owners are wonderful and the location is impossible to beat. Watching and snorkelling over the reef every day was magical. The food is delicious and the staff go above and beyond to make it a special stay.
