Agali Houses

This is a stunning hotel on the Caldera of Santorini. The staff were excellent, the rooms well appointed, and the view cannot be understated. We loved everything about this hotel, except for the stairs. We managed to climb up and down the stairs for three days, but it is a lot so if you have any physical constraints, you might wanna look for something a little higher up on the rim. But if you can handle the stairs, this hotel is definitely perfect in every way! They have staff that will bring your luggage up and down, so don’t worry about that. But it is approximately 150 steps to get down to your room. The breakfast they serve was excellent, the bedding very comfortable, and the views were spectacular. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And I got my steps in each day no questions asked!😎. Since Santorini is so popular, this location is in between two very busy cities. I think I really liked that aspect of the hotel, because it wasn’t quite overrun by the cruise ships like Oia and Fira are. Still lots off activity close by just not as overrun by the crowds which is another plus.

Great hotel, location and service. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite with the private hot tub overlooking the ocean. Amazing views! Staff was friendly and helpful, assisted us in setting up tours and giving recommendations. Nice pool area with bar. As with most locations in Santorini there are many steps to take to get to your room and back up to the street level, be prepared. They have a person to carry the bags though when you arrive and depart, and that was very much appreciated. Highly recommended overall!

Absolutely loved our stay at Agali Houses. Stunning views, peaceful location, and beautiful rooms. Big shout out to Leya she made our mornings with her warm smile, amazing service, and perfect coffees. She brought real heart to the place. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, it’s honestly the best hotel in Santorini, couldn’t recommend it enough! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making is feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The vibe of the place was just perfect—calming and serene, providing a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What I loved most was how it felt like a peaceful retreat, yet just a few steps away, the vibrant atmosphere of the island came alive with delightful restaurants and charming shops. It was the ideal balance of tranquility and access to all the beauty Santorini has to offer. If you're looking for a memorable getaway, this hotel is definitely the place to be! What an amazing place. The hotel was absolutely amazing. ||We stayed in the Prestige Double Caldera View Room with Hot Tub for 7 nights. It was so tranquil and peaceful and would thoroughly recommend it. ||A massive thank you to Vassiliki and her team who were lovely and we were really well looked after and went above and beyond. ||The breakfast was a lovely buffet which had a great range of foods on offer.||The pool area and the pool bar were amazing. Very chilled and people coming and going. The service was great and there was no overcrowding.||We got married on 8th day of our stay (last day at Agali) and as part of the wedding package we had a honeymoon suite included and therefore we vacated Agali, as we couldn’t check in to the hotel of the wedding venue Vassiliki went that extra mile for us and managed to get us in another room so that my now wife could get ready for her big day without any stress…my wife and I have both said that we wish we could have stayed at Agali for the day of the wedding and the next few nights as it was that good!

Agali Houses define hospitality! From the moment we arrived and the friendly porter carried all 5 of our bags down close to the 100 uneven stone stairs to reception, to watching the breathtaking sunsets from our private balcony, to the hearty breakfast, to the comfortable pool and pool bar, everything was perfect! The staff was warm and friendly and offered great suggestions to fully experience the beautiful Santorini.

We loved our time at Agali Houses in Santorini. We booked an Executive Room with a Caldera view for 2 nights, and wow, the view was stunning. The room was very spacious and was clean and beautifully designed. It also had a private patio/balcony where we enjoyed dinner one evening and watched the sunset. The location was excellent, close to shops and restaurants, and a short drive to Oia (or you can hike the beautiful pathway there). After a long day of walking in the sun, the pool deck was the perfect place to relax. It was clean the bartender was attentive and the view was unbeatable. The hotel does sit quite a ways down, so you will encounter many stairs to get in/out of the property, but with this comes privacy. We saw almost no one walking by our room/around the property whereas I noticed other resorts/hotels on the island have heavy foot traffic right outside your door. Lastly, the service was great. We were greeted promptly and a staff member met us at our transfer and hauled our (heavy) bags all the way down the stairs by himself! We were SO appreciative. We were given a detailed overview of the room and there was always someone available for anything we needed. I would recommend Agali Houses to anyone considering!

Amazing experience at Agali Houses for us! Our host made our stay extremely comfortable. Located in the heart of Firostefani, this hotel is walking distance from all local attractions, boutiques and restaurants. Our suite was wonderful with a spectacular sea view for unbelievable sunsets! You will definitely not regret booking a suite or room at Agali Houses!
