Loved our 4 night stay at Agali Houses. Had always dreamt of staying on the cliffside in Santorini and this hotel did not disappoint. The view is breathtaking from every part of the hotel. We stayed in an executive room and it was perfect. Bedroom & lounge separate and large balcony with daybeds to sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast had a great choice each day and was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool area was great, always able to get a daybed. Drinks & Cocktails by the pool were really good and reasonable prices. Loved everything about this hotel other than the 200 stairs to the top, but that’s unavoidable in Santorini if you want such an amazing view. Definitely recommend staying in Firostefani as it’s quieter than Fira and only 10-15 min walk down but it’s so busy in Fira with the cruise ships each day, we much preferred staying in the quieter area, still plenty of restaurants close to hotel. Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel, hope to return one day!

Astounding view, can watch the sunsets from your balcony. Its built on a cliffside so it was 104 steps from the street down to the lobby. The junior suites are quite a bit further down and the sleeping area in them has a barrel shaped roof so limited headroom and difficult to maneuver in. There are stairs in them from the living area to the bedroom. We were booked in one of those but after seeing it, fortunately they upgraded us to a wonderful suite near the lobby. Breakfast was very good and extensive, the pool was very nice. Overall,a beautiful and very clean property with a challenging climb up and down the stairs for us since we are in our 70s. They took our luggage up and down. I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues and I definitely would not recommend the junior suites. Otherwise it is a wonderful place.

Just left our stay at Agali House and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! We had an upgrade from our standard room which included a private patio and livingroom area. The view from the patio was like a postcard! We watched the cruise ships come in each morning. The pool area was lovely. The best part was the hospitality! Vassiliki was the host and was so very accommodating! George the porter carried all our luggage - including backpacks - down 147 stairs and back for us! A shout out to him! Leo the dog was also a nice addition. |Don’t skip their breakfast - it’s an additional cost but a great deal and the view cannot be beat!

Agali House is a wonderfully peaceful and serene boutique hotel on Santorini. It has amazing viewed of the entire caldera and the Mediterranean Sea. The staff was happy and attentive from the very beginning. We were met my the reception staff with a joyous welcome. They luggage porter scooped up our luggage and delivered it to our room. Reception walked us to our room and showed us all it had to offer. It was a great personal touch that you just don’t get anymore when you travel. The pool was great and had a small bar that you could get food at, swim, take in the views or steal a nap in the cabana. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day with fresh food and a great view as well. The sunset was unbelievable. Its central location made it easy to get to city center Fira or up the hill to Oia. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend Agali to anyone visiting Santorini.

Magical views of the sunset, the most perfect location. Probably the most understated hotel, (and best value for Santorini) it has one of the largest pools in the area, and the views over the caldera are just magical. The rooms are so spacious ( we were lucky to get an upgrade to the honeymoon suite with outdoor hot tub) and beautifully appointed. Our second time here, the staff are so nice and helpful. Some excellent restaurants in firostefani, the area is a great central location for the whole island. There are a lot of steps but that is the same everywhere on this island, and Agali carry your cases for you (thank you). It is a truly magical spot.

Great hotel, location and service. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite with the private hot tub overlooking the ocean. Amazing views! Staff was friendly and helpful, assisted us in setting up tours and giving recommendations. Nice pool area with bar. As with most locations in Santorini there are many steps to take to get to your room and back up to the street level, be prepared. They have a person to carry the bags though when you arrive and depart, and that was very much appreciated. Highly recommended overall!

My husband and I recently stayed at Agali Houses and had a beautiful stay!|The hotel staff greeted us at the top of the hill and kindly carried our heavy luggage down the steps. We were then greeted by two incredibly friendly and helpful women to check in. Upon check out, again, hotel staff were only so happy to carry our heavy luggage again, up the many steps!||The room was modern, clean and very spacious with a view over the caldera. You just need to turn the hot water boiler on about 15-20 mins before a shower so it can heat up The pool was larger than many others in the area with many lounges and a bar. The hotel is very central.. a short walk to Fira (but not as busy or noisy) and a short walk to Imerovigli. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel! Thank you.

From checking in and receiving an upgrade from Elena and a tour of the facilities, it was a memorable 3 nights. Recommendations for dinner, organising transfers to and from the airport, excellent pool and outstanding sunset views. |This has to be a quieter part of Santorini and away from the crowds of Oia with professional and courteous service. |A must for first time or return travellers to Santorini. |Kim and Mandy Tasmania
