Not only economic but delicious like home-made food in a rustic restaurant which belongs to the Roman Catholic Church. And it’s fully central! 2 minutes walk from Mathias Rex Statue & St. Michael Church. I’m visiting it for so many years and today I had another great “daily menu” for only 27 Ron (approx. 6€ or less). Definitely recommended ✅

A very nice hotel 🤐 I don't know how much they paid to have 4 stars on their front end. From my point of view they can get maybe 2 stars if I'm being a very good guy. The first thing you encounter going here is they have no parking. After I circled around for 10 minutes for a parking space I walked 3-400 m with a lot of baggage. Entering the "lobby" I was struck by the fact that the receptionist did not completely understood me even though I have been speaking Romanian all my life. He didn't do that though. I didn't try English because after saying everything 2 times he kind of understand. After receiving my key, and searched for the elevator(it is very well hidden) I got to the 4th floor and a nice smell of cat piss struck me as the doors opened. That smell goes all the way down to the lobby because I took the stairs down. The degree of squalidity is unbelievable. Entering the room the first thing struck me was the fact that the carpet was cleaned maybe 6 months ago and the floor is not well put in place. The TV looks like the first TV my parents bought after the Romanian Revolution in 1989. The towels had a funny smell, and I know that if you keep a towel too long fungus and bacteria comes knocking at the door. Both drinking glasses had a wrap on them that said "sterilized". It seems they forgot to clean the glasses before putting them in that foil. One of them was clearly used and not even wiped. (As a general rule you should not drink from these kind of glasses if you don't wash them before. It's better to not drink from them at all) I don't want to tell you about the bed, butt.... I have a tricky lombar back that yells at me when a bad bed is under him. This time he just took a big knife and stabbed me repeatedly. The walls, door and windows are so well done that you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. The breakfast was non existent to me. I asked for a plain yogurt they didn't have it. The only thing I eat was a (probably) 30 minutes hard-boiled egg with some toast. Still want to try for yourself? Are you crazy? Do not come here even if it's free (well, if it's free you can go and buy a towel or two and a good camping mattress so you have a good night's sleep) Welcome to Romania. If you know who to pay, you can have everything, even a 2 star hotel that have in front 4 stars, and 4 stars prices.

Lovely location in the city center. Unfortunately the bathrooms require a way better cleaning services. The building itself it's pretty old so the pipes and electric systems might be a little rusty. Flickering lights were very common during our stay and the sink pipes just broke. They changed the room for the next day but no discount was offered considering we couldn't use the bathroom sink for a day. For this price you can find better accomodations.

Restaurant: food is overall of good quality at reasonable prices, although few vegetarian options and sometimes none vegan. Staff is pretty nice, polite and helpful.

Nice view outside area that is in the midle of the bilding. Its close to the markets, coffe shops, restaurants. The elevator smels a bit of mold, also my bathroom, but its not a 5 stars hotel. Mattresses are not very good for sleep.

Bit tatty, but great central location with friendly reception. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast there is plenty of good cafes in the square.

Pros: -Kind and helpful 0-24 reception -Clean room -Room is well equipped with bedclothes and towels -Some of the furniture feels brand new -Excellent location in the middle of the city Cons: -Gap at bottom of room entrance door, so absolutely no noise isolation from corridor (soundgproofing) -Bad noise isolation to the street, old windows -Inconsequent furniture and foxed atmosphere. Two style and era beside each other: cheap and old fashioned next to a few high quality modern stuff -Bad smell in bathroom possibly due to floor drain in the middle -Water rocky shower with broken semi-functional doors -Water drain is clogged in shower, had to take shower in 10-15 cm pool -Beds are too hard, mattress springs push the back -Minibar (old and weak fridge) is completely empty -Breakfast is mediocre. Egg eggshell parts in fried eggs and thin watery orange juice. -Staff is to few for servicing the whole room and breakfast. -Air conditioner on top floor was very old and weak perhaps from socialist era

For the restaurant. Taste is ok, but nothing more. I had a tiny meat in the daily menu. No soap in the toilett.
