Visiting Cueva del Esplendor was an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Yadi, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of energy, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The drive up the mountain offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and the hike itself was not too strenuous, making it accessible for most travelers. The highlight, of course, was the waterfall. Seeing the water cascade through the cave opening was truly impressive and worth every step to get there. A perfect mix of adventure and natural beauty. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Jardín

Very good tour, the location is beautiful and very unique scenery watching the waterfall through the cave. The water is very cold but getting in was worth it. The snacks you get from the agency are more than enough for the day

We gathered in the office and they gave each participant a bottle of water, guava jelly and granola bar. We jumped into a jeep to start our 50 minute jeep ride up the side of mountain. Once we stopped, we hiked uphill for 30 minutes and then reached at chalet. At the chalet we again were offered more treats. This time we had an arena with cheese, an Empanada and a hot sugar tea. Awesome. We then headed to the falls. A steep trail in the jungle but there are handrails to assist, not easy but doable for this 60 year old man! The falls are spectacular, can't miss when visiting Jardin. At the conclusion of the tour, we again were offered a berry juice and cake. A fantastic tour! COP 145000 for two people

Great hike to a unique waterfall, swimming hole and cave all-in-one. My advice is to wear bug repellent, wear proper footwear for climbing up and down wet rocks and avoid this hike if you are not fit, sure-footed and able to walk without assistance (for example young children and the elderly). Overall a great experience.

Truly one of the best waterfalls and most unique nature spots I've ever seen.

We enjoyed this very much! The jeep ride was exciting - quite a skilled driver, and the snacks at the farm on top were good. The hike down to the waterfall was a little challenging for me (64 yrs old - avid hiker), but we were well-warned about the skills needed. It was quite slippery and steep, with loose rocks and uneven terrain. About halfway down there are good cables provided for handholds which was hugely helpful! I was also grateful to have my hiking poles for stability (the tour company should recommend this for those who are comfortable using them). The falls are truly spectacular and we felt it was worth the price of 70,000 COP, which included the jeep ride, a short walk to the "farm", nice snacks, entry fee (20,000 COP), and a guide to the falls. The guide doesn't really do much or give much information, but he did stay with our group for the whole time (and opened the locked gates). All in all, a really fun way to spend 4.5 hours in beautiful Jardin!

The agency is very punctual and organized. They give you water and a bocadillo (guava base sweet) before you depart to the location. Once you arrive to the destination you have to hike a little bit to make it to house in which they receive you with one arepa de chocolo, aguapanela (local drink) and one empanada. After you eat they give you time to use the toilet or take a few pictures before you start the hike. This is a very fun activity with beautiful scenery, the only warning is If you are not in a good physical condition this hike is not for you. The ride in the jeep is very interesting and unique, you do have to ride in open road so get your butt ready for a bumpy ride. Everything is an experience to remember.

**Great experience at the Cave of Splendor!** The jeep took us close to the ticket house, leaving just a 20–30 minute hike to the cave. We were well-fed throughout the day, starting with a granola bar and bottle water at the office, light breakfast at the ticket house and ending with cake and juice after the tour. The guides were kind but only spoke Spanish, so if you don’t speak the language, you won’t get much information. It would be helpful if they provided an English information sheet for non-Spanish speakers. Just a few safety pointers would have been good. I wouldn’t recommend walking up the road to the ticket house—it’s a long, hot slog! Overall, the tour was well worth the COP 70,000.
