The cocktails were okay, and the steak frites was mediocre. Service-wise, the staff were friendly although it took a very long time for food to come out, even on a quieter night, so beware if you planned on eating here too. Otherwise, the atmosphere/vibes is sleek and intimate, so it's still a cool spot to try if you're in the area.

Great space, super cool & comfortable. Live DJ. Loved the Sex Sells cocktail, riff on a porn star martini. Also lots of gluten-free options including a dedicated frier!!!

I recently hosted my Christmas party at the Agency of Record, and I can’t praise this venue enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The ambiance was festive and perfectly suited for our celebration. The space was incredibly versatile, accommodating all our guests comfortably while still creating an intimate atmosphere. The layout was perfect for seamless mingling, dining, and dancing. Speaking of dancing, the sound system was top-notch, and the DJ—DJ ELE—did an outstanding job, creating an amazing vibe that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! Overall, the Agency of Record made my Christmas party unforgettable! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event. Thank you, Agency of Record, for a fantastic experience!

Very swanky! Gives a bit of speakeasy vibe. Love that their mocktail menu is expansive. Went here with friends after an event in city and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not too loud, you can still talk and hear yourself think.

O.M.G.! A Bartender that can read your mind, without being intrusive! Great! Absolutely loved the food, vibe and the sounds of the live DJ. 10/10

We were excited to try this place as the music was fun and it looked like it was a fun atmosphere. However, we were severely disappointed. The service was poor as they were slow at the host desk. The server was slow and was not attentive. The food was subpar. The charcuterie was extremely disappointing as we only got a few pieces of meat, pickles, and mustard. After that was eaten the bread came out, 15 minutes after the plate was delivered to the table. Cocktails were fine, but overpriced.

Came to NYC for a weekend getaway with my spouse to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. As we are both music lovers, Agency of Record sparked our interest when deciding where to dine. The hustle and bustle of the city was very prevalent in the restaurant on the night we visited, but our server, Kimiya, was still very willing to answer all of our questions about the menu. Along with this, Jenna also stopped by our table during our meal to ensure our experience was enjoyable and all of our needs were being met. Above and beyond service, impressive music, fun bathroom, and we LOVED the babaganoush (per Kimiya's recommendation, it was my spouse and I's first time ever trying it!) We will definitely be returning should we find ourselves in the city again!

Solid cocktails and music, had a strange interaction with the bartender who tried to charge our friend 8$ for a Diet Coke, when the menu said 5$. Plain rude. Besides that, vibe and drinks are legit.
