My husband and I chose Aggie's for our wedding cake, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! The cake tasting was delightful--we tasted options in a friendly, low-stress environment and felt supported by their wonderful staff every step of the way. Aggie's was also fantastic at communicating price, day-of logistics, and all details well in advance of our big day. When it--and the cake--arrived, we were delighted with its appearance and taste. Everyone complimented us on our classic and delicious cake; in an age of niche wedding desserts, a cake everyone can enjoy is a rarity, and Aggie's delivered just that!

We ordered our wedding cake and mini pastries for our reception from Aggie's! Everything about our experience was wonderful from the tasting to the delivery of our order. Our guests absolutely raved about the mini desserts and went back for seconds. The pricing was reasonable and extremely affordable. The staff was always kind and helpful throughout the process and we would recommend them to anyone! From our initial tasting, we knew we wanted Aggie’s to make our wedding cake. The tasting process was so much fun, and the Aggie’s team was great to work with. We created a cake that was perfectly personalized and intentional, and we got so many compliments on our wedding day. The cake was absolutely delicious and the decorations were perfect. We left it up to the Aggie’s team to place the decor, and they did a phenomenal job. Plus, our guests raved about how delicious the cake was and asked for more! We can’t wait to continue using Aggie’s for future celebrations, too. They’re going to be our go-to bakery from now on!

We chose Aggie’s bakery to make our desserts for our NYE wedding. Every person I interacted with at the bakery was so sweet and they all provided great customer service. Rachel was amazing during the entire process. She was very helpful and informative at the consultation and made the order so easy for us. We decided on a cutting cake (yellow cake with strawberry french cream filling and Aggie’s original buttercream frosting) and a variety of cupcakes for our guests. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend. Thank you for helping make our special day one to remember❤️

We ordered our cake & some small desserts from Aggie’s for our wedding. Everything turned out fantastic & the process was seamless. First, we did a tasting at their shop. It was well organized & I liked that the staff did not hover over us. It was a fun experience! The bakery is very transparent with pricing & Rachel did a great job helping us throughout the process via email. Her responses were clear & prompt. We decided to go with a white cake with strawberry french cream filling, cream cheese icing & the vintage swag design (our wedding coordinator added the flowers in the pic). The cake was beautiful & delicious. We received a lot of compliments! We are going to order another (smaller) one for our 6 month anniversary. Overall, we would recommend Aggie’s for any occasion.

I must love it since I keep coming back. Normally I get a cannoli and sit by the window. There's always other pleasant customers inside as well happy to see children. It's quiet, on the smaller side.

We needed a birthday cake. Walked in and they had a fantastic variety of premade cakes to choose from. We didn't have enough time to order one of the specialty cakes. The cake I chose was delicious. The buttercream was perfectly done. They decorated it free. The people were wonderful. The service was great. Highly recommend!

Ordered a cake and some mini desserts for a coworkers farewell dinner. I ordered via the online portal and had left notes if it was possible for the carrot cake to have a message in sage/a floral design that matched (I figured it was a 50/50 chance for the design and not the normal carrots ) the cake turned out super cute! Since carrot cake isn't everyone's jam but what the guest of honor wanted I also ordered mini fruit tarts and s'mores cupcakes. Both were good. Let me tell you though do not pass up on those cupcakes omg so delicious!!!

Been here a couple times before, to pick up donuts to go. This time came to meet a couple of friends, grab a donut, hot beverage, and sit for a while. There's plenty of nice light coming in from the large windows. A bunch of small tables, give plenty of options for small groups. Aggies is a full service bakery, offering not only freshly made donuts, but all sorts of other pastries, and even custom wedding cakes. (there's a separate tasting room for that). Came on a Friday morning. There were a few other people ahead of us, but it didn't take long to get to order. Friendly staff gave us time to pick the perfect donut. I asked the staff person for their favorite and without hesitation they said the "fried croissant" (AKA Cronut). So I order that one. They have a small Stone Creek Coffee operation next to the check out. There was another person who was acting as Barista. I was able to order one of my favorite drinks, Chai Latte (extra foam please). The donut and latte were a perfect combination. We were able to sit and have a nice conversation while finishing our treats. We went back to get a number of things to take home. I highly recommend ALL of the other items. Especially the Peanut Butter Cookies, that have the perfect crumble.

The display case showed off so many fantastic treats it was hard to choose. For specialty cakes you do need to order ahead but there was plenty of options they make daily. At least 6 different flavor of cupcakes, bars with fruit and without, brownies, cookies, and bites of cake. I was greeted upon entry and the employee you served me was a wealth of knowledge on different flavors. Great customer service with a cozy feel.

I love fresh baked goods and Aggies has a large variety of them, if you get there early enough! Waiting too long to pop in may mean that your favorite treat is already sold out. Never fear though, everything has the possibility to be your new favorite. The shop is easy to find and there shouldn't be too much of an issue finding street parking. However, this area can get pretty busy so there's always a chance you'll be parking a block away. Just think of it as burning more calories before consuming a box of bakery items. On my most recent visit I picked up a cherry danish and raspberry twist. While neither were terrible, they weren't items I'll purchase again. The twist was extremely sweet and the raspberry flavor didn't really come through. The cherry filling in the danish was thick, reminded me of canned pie filling which I hate, unfortunately. In the past I have gotten items that I did enjoy, so it's worth switching it up to find what suits your tastes. Next time I'll probably try a donut or two. Or a cinnamon roll, that's a top notch treat! One thing that I didn't expect was a small area inside for eating. It's a nice spot to relax and enjoy a pastry and coffee. They off other things like specialty cakes, pies, cheesecakes and more. Their website has up to date information on additional items and services.

Aggies is the go to place for wedding cakes. Their customer service is elite. They were so accommodating and patient and answered all of my questions during the ordering process. They even let me change my order pretty last minute when I changed my mind about something with my cake. They gave us a free anniversary cake a year later and it was so delicious. Highly recommend!

Nice desserts but nothing outstanding that pulls me back. Staff is friendly and the bakery itself is clean.

I have been going to Rachel for custom cakes since she was Baked Custom Desserts. Now that she owns Aggie's Bakery, they are my go-to for all things cakes! They just made my 40th birthday cake and I had a laundry list of specifications, and they followed it all to a T! The cake was amazing! In addition to cakes, they have tons of bakery items, too! All delicious!

Nice bakery right on a main strip. Very clean and nice inside the store, and it was slow so service was fast and perfect. Got the cheese cake brownies and a apple fritter and both were awesome. Solid bakery.

The cupcakes, cheesecake and tiramisu are delicious. We have decided that we will order our cupcakes from Aggie's for our wedding next year. We have tried a few cupcakes and they're our winners.

Fresh bakery that doesn't skimp on quality or quantity. The cappuccino is rich and delicious. Lots of varieties! No matter what we've ordered, it is served with a smile.

My brother lost his life serving with the Milwaukee Fire Department in a structure fire on 12/24/1994. He was 44 years old. He was a specially trained member of the Heavy Urban Rescue Team with whom I celebrate the milestone birthdays he was never able to reach. Aggie's created the cake below for his 65th in 2015 by going above and beyond any expectation by hand-creating his "Medicare Card" when the copy that I provided was of poor quality to be transferred. For his 70th in 2020, the design was much more traditional with the highest standards of taste and presentation. Each time, the staff at Aggie's offered professional guidance in pairing, cake, icing and design to create memorable moments. Today, I entered the store to order the cake for his 75th and was greeted by a very pleasant young woman. She directed me to place my order on-line from home or from the desktop in the store. It seemed that she had not been empowered to offer any further assistance. I respect the right for any business to choose their Standard Operating Procedure and I hope that the management of Aggie's will respect my right to forgo their quality and craft by ordering elsewhere. #okayboomer #thatsthewaythingsaredone

We went in to pick up a chocolate pie, and it was so hard not to leave with tons of the yummy options. The service was very friendly and quick and the store was very clean and well organized.

Plenty of sweet treats available, something for everyone! I tried three of this item, different flavors but only remembered to photograph one. Chocolate chip, strawberry and cinnamon. Generous portion, good taste and even better warmed up.

Be sure to try a Ding Dong. Best treat ever. Lots and lots of eye candy going on at this bakery.

I ordered a cake online for my friends birthday, I live out of town and wanted to make sure it got there at the right time and place! They delivered and it was a beautiful, delicious cake!

All I know is Aggies makes the BEST CAKES!! Which is an indication of the restaurant etc.

We ordered our wedding cakes through them and it was gorgeous! They were so hopeful and had amazing friendly staff. Their cakes were delicious. It turned out better than I could've imagined! I would definitely order from them a million times over. One thing I would change though Is that our cakes had almost 2 inches of frosting on the outside and it just was a bit much. Other than that, everything was perfect!!

I was here last month and there are so many desserts to choose from. I highly recommend and it's not very pricey.

Aggie's supplied my wedding with the most delicious baked good and the most perfectly decorated wedding cake ever!! Everything we tried during our tasting was amazing!! Our guests raved about how delicious all of Aggie's treat were! Aggie's made the wedding cake of my dreams and it actually tasted amazing as wellI!! Stopped for a fresh donut and coffee and it truly hit the spot. Their pastries looked amazing! I had a chance to try one of their cakes at a friend's birthday and was delighted. It's definitely on the list for pre-order needs in the future!

The donuts are huge and delicious! The wait staff were very helpful and they were so nice.

I needed a sheet cake and thought I should support a small business instead of Costco. I went to Aggie's and told the woman at the counter that I needed to order a cake. She walked me to a computer and told me to order there. I was disappointed by the time it took. It would have been so much faster to just tell her my order. The cake was good as their products usually are. If I need another cake I will just go to Costco though. It's the same level of service and way cheaper.

Excellent choice of bakery. Great area to sit and snake and everything is FRESH!. The areas are clean and it smells like baking as you walk in. If you're on a diet this would not be the place for you as it's not average dried up stuff in a case. THIS is mouth watering and you will want to take some home for later.

Black and White Cookie??? I ordered their black and white cookie, I was excited to see them as they were a favorite of mine when I lived in NYC. I got home and pulled out a rock hard dead dough cookie. it was nothing like the light cakey texture of a real black and white cookie. How disappointing. If you are going to sell a classic bakery item- don't fake it. make the real thing. I can't imagine anyone would have enjoyed that cookie. dry hard. flavorless. After one bite it we t in the trash.

Wish Aggie's was still in St. Francis. Love all their goodies and recommend them highly. I'm trying to remember the name of the pastry I used to get. It was folded pastry filled with fruit in the middle and frosting on top. I always got it with Door County Cherries. Might have to make a trip to West Allis!

Billy welcomed us into this wonderful world of Aggie's beautiful desserts. He couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful to us. He's got a great sense of humor and really made our trip there enjoyable. He was extremely accommodating to answering my questions and giving us the best service he could offer. I highly recommend this place for the elephant ears that I was looking for. I'm from California and we don't have those back there and I was excited to see them. I was born and raised in Milwaukee so I know what their local favorites are, and that was one of them.

Had the cherry lemon lemonade cupcakes, and wow. They were beautiful, absolutely delicious, and perfectly portioned. Thank you so much, it was a pleasure eating these! I don't have a photo because I ate them too fast, lol.

My partner and I stopped in Aggie's Bakery and Cake Shop this afternoon for the first time. Since we don't have very many (and?!) traditional American bakeries in Southwest Florida, we were thrilled to see an array of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and doughnuts. I thoroughly enjoyed my vanilla Long John and my partner devoured his Persian nut roll. The woman who helped us was training and very sweet. We'll be back!

I went to Aggie's for the fist time about 2 weeks ago and I am now a huge fan. I was with my vegan sister and inquired if any vegan options were available, and they did have a few vegan options. I purchased a cream filled coffee cake, it was loaded with cream, and a couple of chocolate torte squares. Both were absolutely delicious! (Especially the coffee cake). I totally recommend this bakery.

Anytime I am in the downtown west allis area, I always seem to find myself stopping by to grab a quick Stone Creek coffee served here. I also always end up eyeing the delicious sale baked items which are only a day old and still taste just as good at a discounted rate. We ordered a cute Yule log themed cake for a party here and it was just adorable and I only wish I had a picture to post and show just how cute. You'll just have to take my word for it.

OMG West Allis has a hidden gem and it's called Aggies Bakery and Cake Shop. Upon walking in you will gasp at the sheer magnitude of the choices. Donuts of every flavor, shape and beauty. The cinnamon rolls are nothing short of miraculous - they're 3 stories high of soft, pillowy cinnamon dough with - wait for it - an ice cream scoop of delicious homemade cream cheese frosting with the - May it never go away. I bought 2. I also picked up 2 of the best crullers I've ever had - sorry Sentry and Grebe's, but these have taken over the #1 spot?

We used Aggie's bakery for our wedding and it was great! They made everything easy. I would go their again!

Vanilla Doughnut: Aggie's Bakery is a third generation Italian family owned bakery in Milwaukee. A co-worker of mine generously shared a whole box of goodies from the bakery and this was one of my selections. At first glance it kind of looks to be a simple Long John with vanilla icing on top. Aggie's version takes it up a notch with the addition of what I believe is vanilla buttercream frosting in the center. It's not technically a filled doughnut as it's actually more of a doughnut sandwich. Honestly, my only complaint is that it was messy to eat. Poticas - need to order in advance and understand that with the work they take - these are Fabulous! And I know as I've been loving and eating Poticas for at least 50 years! We live in AL now but have family in Milwaukee area and this is my Top pick for gifts - send me 4-6 and I can freeze them and they keep their freshness - never dry! Visited the bakery this summer and we picked up pastries, coffee cake, and cookies- all great ! Love having a bakery as good as Aggie's- although staff need to review the list of available items as one staff member looked at me funny and had to ask another about Poticas! Worth a visit and sit and enjoy in the quaint coffee area with the shop!

Wonderful! I ordered 12 paczki's online to be delivered on Feb 28th and it was absolutely seamless. I placed my order I think around the 15th of February. I ordered a combo of custard, buttercream, and lemon filled. They were fluffy and not overly sweet (as compared to a trad American donut). They arrived fresh and on-time! I was a bit surprised to have them delivered by hand as opposed through a shipping service, but absolutely no complaints! The delivery person was polite and I felt bad for having been caught off-guard. I would highly recommend.

I posted this review on Google and here too because people need to be advised of Aggie's poor quality and customer service. (I would give zero stars if I could) Attended my nephew's birthday party this past weekend and I can't tell you how hard everyone was laughing at how ugly the cake was. The reference picture for the cake was something advertised on Aggie's website so it shouldn't have been something new for them to make. The end result for our cake had little to NO resemblance and was truly horrendous. It looked like they forgot there was an order to fill and completed it shortly before it was picked up. It was a rushed piece of crap. That was the ugliest cake I've ever seen in my entire life and the quality was an absolute JOKE. What a waste of money.

Nice little bakery in Downtown West Allis. They have a good selection of items to choose from, and a reasonable amount of seating. We ordered a sprinkled donut for my son, a peanut square for me, and a triangle donut thingy w/ sweet cream for my wife. My son seemed to enjoy the donut. My wife wasn't overly impressed with her item. And the peanut square was a bit underwhelming, despite looking amazing. The buttercream just wasn't that high quality, and the yellow cake inside was somewhat dry. I'm still giving 4 stars because it only cost $6.75 for all three treats. At one of my local dessert spots, this would have cost more like $9.

Aggies provided the desserts for our wedding, and we could not have been happier. Rachel was so pleasant to work with, super helpful- made everything easy! Aggies delivered our desserts to the venue, and everything was delicious! We had the mini cheesecakes, eclairs, fruit tarts and pecan pies. Several friends came up to ask us where they were from and tell us they were yummy! Highly recommend!

We ordered a Tuxedo French Cream cake for Christmas Eve. The cake was ready for pickup at the scheduled time on Christmas Eve morning. The pickup process was very organized with no wait time. The cake looked beautiful with the red and green trim on top of the chocolate ganache. We had added raspberry jam filling to the traditional buttercream filling. The cake was delicious.
