Agoo Hostel

The best place to stay in Accra. A lovely place in a very safe area which is only a short drive from both Oxford Street and the beach. Beautiful gardens, lovely rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Highly recommended.

I loved this place! It was lovely and very welcoming. A lot of African artwork and fabrics were were used to decorate. There's a table tennis outside. There was free WiFi which was relatively fast. There's a library with contemporary books and our fellow guests were friendly. We had rice and lentils with vegetable sauce accompanied by salad for dinner for 35 cedis and it was delicious. A complementary breakfast comprising of sliced bread, marmalade, butter, boiled eggs with fruit salad was served. I definitely would like to stay here again.

We were traveling several places in Ghana and used Agoo as our home base in Accra. The cleanliness, friendliness, flexibility with our accommodations all exceeded our expectations. This was my first time in a hostel and I have nothing but good things to say! We will definitely be coming back when we visit again and would recommend this hostel to anyone, experienced and inexperienced travelers alike. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Stayed here my first night in Ghana. It was a good experience. Comfortable, hot shower (rare in Ghana). Decent breakfast in the morning included. I like the decor too. Will be staying again.

I've stayed here on two separate occasions while in Accra and highly recommend it. It is very welcoming, the food is good, the accomodations with bed and showers is very nice. I would gladly stay here for one night or a few when I come back. Book this of they have space!

Several friends and I lived in Agoo Hostel for about 5 days. The host is welcome and helpful. He knows the right place to eat and to visit. They also have great breakfast, especially fruit. We are really lucky to find such a place to stay in Ghana.

Friendly, clean and safe hostel in Accra. Well located, you can get to every important place in just a few minutes (as long as traffic is not too bad). At night is was very noisy due to the generator, so sleeping was quite hard. Otherwise I can definitely recommend this hostel to anybody, who is looking for a low-priced and safe acommodation.

This is the cutest and best hostel. It is super clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to help any way they can. There are bunk options for really cheap ($18 USD) and single room options with a queen bed. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. They have a chef and great menu options. Breakfast is included. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast, coffee, tea and more. I would highly recommend visiting Agoo hostel. A+++
