Agriturismo Cavalierino

Great place to stay. Wonderful location, clean, cozy and beautiful room. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. The check in was easy, and hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The location in the middle of the Tuscany countryside on the top of the hill provided a beautiful view all around. The breakfast was excellent. I would defently recommend this place to anybody.

Had a very pleasant one week stay in mid september! Nice and clean apartments with a kitchen and a very nice pool with self service bar. Good location and very quiet. Also had a fun chat with the owner (very cool guy), while tasting some of the wine they produce (tasted excellent). You are also provided with tips on local restaurants, vinyards and cities to visit. All in all a 10/10 holiday expierence.

Thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights here in our very private apartment fully equipped with living room kitchen, two bedrooms and bath. Our host Ivan, welcomed us and made our stay so enjoyable with daily breakfast on the outdoor patio, and sunset wine tastings. He was the perfect host and gave us lots of good advice regarding local restaurants and tours available. A wonderful place to stay whether you want to your Tuscany wine region, or just relax and enjoy the resort.

I absolutely loved my stay and this beautiful and perfectly set up agritourism. Ivan and Lorena are the best hosts and cannot do enough to help you without being in the least intrusive. The apt. for 3 had everything including 2 large bedrooms, a bathroom, a living and dining room and a kitchen which had enough to make a meal if you wished. I loved breakfast on their patio which overlooked the valley and Monotepulciano in all its grandeur Ivan made amazing coffee - cappuccino, cafe latte, expresso whatever you desired The food was excellent and their little dog Toto completed the experience. Ivan was happy to suggest restaurants and the best ways to access Montepulciano. No one could ask for more in accommodation. I wanted to move in and just stay there forever.

Had a bad experience with the staff/owners. Very impolite and rude. Rooms are basic (despite choosing 2 BD apartments for 2 people) cleaning was bad, glasses were dirty, drinking water was not replaced. They don't deserve to have guests. Zero stars if possible for the behavior. Later edit: i can post all their emails with their attitude regarding clients. If we paid 800 euro for 2 nights it's clear it is not about the money. How about the bottle of our wine left in the room? It was good? You forgot to give it back 😀 But you don't answer for lost and found things..

We enjoyed our stay here, but also understand some of the other reviews. It’s technically an agriturismo because of what they produce and sell, wine and olive oil, but the accommodations are separate, well appointed apartments. We were there in Oct after the pool had closed, but the hot tub was wonderful. It was still warm and we did need to open the screenless windows. Yes, there were a few bugs flying in but that didn’t bother us and it isn’t uncommon in Italy. We wished we had arrived during the day, it would have made it easier to find. Great view of Montepulciano if you look across the road. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and discussed returning in the future with more family members.

I’ll make this short. Julia who lives on the property and family runs the business is nice and friendly. Location is lovely, 5 minutes from the main town. But everything else about the room was lacking. Hairdryer not working, cups visibly dirty, gave us wood for a fire but the lighter was broken, bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, hard as a rock, asked for cleaning on a Tuesday and came Wednesday instead. But DESPITE all this what really was the worst when the cleaning lady nicely folded our visibly dirty bath towels that we threw on the floor and put them back in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting! Makes me wonder how clean everything else was. I would never stay there again.

We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer!||||Upon arrival, things got off to a slightly rocky start because they had lost our booking or it was not immediately found. It seems to be a fairly common problem if you use hotels dot com to book, but if you use a different site they don't seem to have the same issue. Weird.||||Luckily, they still had a room available that they had to get ready so we had a bit of a wait before we could get settled, but no problem, we had a drink on their terrace with a nice view of Montepulciano.||||We stayed in a small apartment, one of three in an original farm house. The parking was nice, one space for each apartment. The apartment itself was quite spacious. There was no AC, so we brought the fan upstairs when we went to bed. There is a nice kitchenette area and they provide most things you could want, pots, dishes, silverware, even cereal and coffee for breakfast.||||The pool area was beautiful but we got there too late to enjoy it (but the hot tub is open all night). I wish we could have stayed longer, it's a beautiful property in a great location!
