Agriturismo La Fiorida (Mantello, Lombardy) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This modern hotel with simple, elegant guestrooms furnished in stone and ash wood is ideal for spa enthusiasts and food lovers. In the restaurant, where each of the four rooms is dedicated to a season, the focus is on zero food miles. Many of the ingredients come from the hotel’s own farm." - Tablet Hotels

I want to start by saying that, if you by chance are anywhere within an hour of this place, at least stop by and try the ice cream. That said, I stayed here for about a week with my wife and dog. The place has a modern rustic vibe, large rooms, and a nice breakfast buffet (most products are directly from the farm itself). There are also three places to eat on location (snacks, restaurant and fine dining) and a well equipped bar. The location is a bit out of the way, but that is a bonus if you like peace and quiet, and there are walking and biking trails going through the property. They do guided tours of the farm if you want to see some of the practical aspects of dairy farming and production. There are plenty of helpful and friendly staff, which makes for a great experience. The spa area can get a bit crowded when there are a lot of families staying at the hotel.

Stayed 5 nights in one of the family 2 bedroom suites. Ideal setup when travelling as a family. Hotel amenities, restaurant and pool were all excellent. Only a short drive to Colico to explore Lake Como by boat or train. Really liked Colico as a base, had plenty to offer and quieter than some of the other towns in middle of Lake. Enjoyed the farm tour and the guide did a good job of including English commentary for us. The car was loaded up with cheese, wine and beer from the excellent farm shop for the journey home.

Fascinating place (didn’t stay overnight), ice cream was amazing! Wanted to buy all the products in there! In the evening, the restaurant starts serving food at 19:00.

Nice place, but no information about restaurant opening time. No information about bike rental prices. We looked somewhere else.

Spent the morning having coffee at the farm shop before a 50 minute relaxation massage with Francesca at the spa. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the massage was very relaxing. The facilities were very clean and the ambience was very peaceful. Perfect way to spend a rainy day! If there was anything to improve upon, there was no robe offered and the sauna facilities were not complimentary for day visitors, only hotel residents. Although, I think this is becoming more common in spas these days in general.

Although there are more elements of model farming than a traditional one, the place is very educational especially for families with children. The dairy products are very good and if you love meat (it’s not my case cause I’m vegetarian) you’ll find what you need. There are even some vegetarian dishes as well. The Spa is small but beautiful and I enjoyed the experience a lot.

I think you should look seriously in the quality of your dishes.||The Baby pork was really not good, I mean really not good.||The pizzoccheri ok, but for 18 Euros was way too small.||Cold cuts good but is a given in italy.||Gardinera, over cooked.||Bread good.||Both wines excellent.||I loved the setting, but as always, what comes on your plate makes the difference, I don't think I would reccomend or go back again.||250 euro bill for 4 pax. The restaurant was full, perhaps you should consider accepting less guest and deliver good, honest quality food.

An overall good place, especially for kids. Very expensive, however, you pay for every single thing and the cost per night was very high. One would expect basic services and the spa would be free to use. The pool is free for guests of the hotel, but the spa is not. The restaurant is very expensive, the cover charge 4,50 euros, even for children, a real exaggeration. It feels like guests are charged to sustain the project of farming, animals, etc. but it is really unreasonably expensive - food was ok, but lukewarm, pre-heated perhaps? Not great value for money.
