These Ancient Italian Towns Have All the Tuscan Beauty and None of the Crowds
"A family-run farm stay that serves as the gateway for the Cinque Borghi hike, offering simple rural hospitality and a chance to experience daily agricultural life before setting out along historic goat paths, stone fountains and tiny medieval hamlets amid chestnut forests." - Gina DeCaprio Vercesi

Highly recommend. Beautiful place surrounded by nature, in a fully restored old "borgo" (town). The restaurant also holds its own with fresh locally sourced ingredients and good cooks that know how to handle them. Only thing to note is the road to get there: avoid if you have a low car. Best experiences we had there are the walk around the other 4 borghi and rafting by the river nearby.

Amazing village stay! The place is beyond gorgeous. They have very tasty food and unique self-produced products. The host Vanilla is super nice and lovely! We did a lot of fun activities like rafting, zip line, and paragliding! The adventure is like a dream comes true! Strongly recommend!!!

Just wow! Terme Bagno Bernabò recommended and made a reservation for us at this little gem. We arrived and realized that they were opening the restaurant just for us! Amazing meal by the fireplace, fantastic service by Erica and the chef Daniela. Highly recommend a stop if you are in this area.

This place is a little gem! The pictures do not do it justice! It was an old village that was refurbished recently. We stayed in the Diva room-apartment, and it was very clean, with a small fridge, hairdryer, AC, and the bed was comfortable. It's very charming and romantic with the river right in front! From here we did a water trek in the canyon with a lovely tour guide located on the river. It was fantastic..

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with stunning scenery, amazing home cooked food and buckets of rustic charm. Daniela who runs the place went out of her way to ensure we had a fabulous stay. We were up graded to an apartment with incredible views. I would recommend having the evening meal. It is great value and exceptionally good. Most of the food is sourced from their farm and served with very good local wine. I definitely recommend the homemade ravioli with homemade ricotta and spinach.

We've been to the restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed it! Staff are great! Food is very well prepared and with a strong homemade hand. Very enjoyable! Prices are very fair. A touch of history brought back to modern times, the Borgo is very picturesque and the area is fabulous for hiking and spending time out in the open. Looking forward to returning and taking advantage of the rooms for a few nights!

Delicious food, including an excellent breakfast buffet.
Staff were welcoming, friendly, polite and knowledgable.
Professionally trained in table service etiquette which is so rare nowadays.
We will return without hesitation, if we in the area again.

We only wanted to stay here one night but we fell in love with this place, the food and the people. So we stayed two nights. And will come back!|Authentic sweetnesses, beautiful setting and so much care is all over. Daniela explained us a great tour to drive in our land rover in the mountains, and that gave an experience for life! Beautiful chestnut groves, grassy hills and rocky mountains.|She cooks the best Italian food based on quality ingredients and love. It is SO tasty. |The place is founded on an idea to have as little environmental impact as possible. You feel as one with nature here.
