Agriturismo Villa Vea

A fantastic stop on our bike holiday. The panoramic view and the rooms are very top! But the service and the food of the hosts are the very best! We arrived at 14h and unannounced asked for lunch and received an “easy lunch” which was the best food we got served all week! Grazie mille!

We stayed hear one night as part of a 8 day bike trip around the area. Of all the places we stayed, this was our favorite spot to stay. There was a beautiful view on the deck outside of our rooms and the food was the best on our trip: genuine Italian and delicious to the last bite. Angela was very welcoming and a pleasure to talk with.

Angela was a lovely host. We were the only couple there for one evening and she made us feel right at home with her homemade wine and food. 🍱 A wonderful, relaxing stay. Highly recommended. ||Plus the drive there and back takes you through some lovely mountain villages.

After an intense Amalfi Coast trip, this was a delight! The peace of the Campania countryside was wonderful. The drive to Villa Vea from Naples was exhilarating, through the stunning hill roads. We loved it.|The welcome was warm and genuine. |Our room was simple and comfortable. Just what we hoped for, with incredible views.|We enjoyed lunch, breakfast and dinner over our two days, and loved every mouthful. The service was personal, and I think we witnessed a real family doing their best to provide an authentic holiday experience for their customers.|It’s not a corporate situation, but for us it was a genuine, memorable place that will live long in our hearts.

Putting in words the deep feeling of wellbeing and happiness you get in Villa Vea is not easy. ||What I can try to describe is the very clear kindness and warmth that Andrea, Emilio, Angela and super grandma share with their hosts as soon as you get there. The peaceful atmosphere is superb, views are breathtaking and the calmness will stay with you for the whole time you are there. What is special about their food is how they are able to offer extremely genuinely 0 km home-grown products cooked in such a rich and delicious way. Your palate will smile and your body will be grateful for the wholesome meals. Wine is an elixir and spoiling yourself with one of their special sweets is a great way to end the meal. I go back to Bellosguardo a few times a year and whenever I go, this little corner of paradise makes me feel glad to be alive. Thanks for the treat!

This was our second stay at the Villa Vea Agriturismo in Bellosgardo. It was as delightful this time as the last! There is something special about the Villa Vea . . . I believe it is the proprietors, Andrew, Mama, and Emilio! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for! Our room was very comfortable. The food is fresh and delicious, the wine is enjoyable and plentiful. The views of the mountains, olive orchards, vineyards, and sunsets are spectacular. We sat by the pool with our wine and watched the sun go down over the mountain with family and friends. It was wonderful! If you are looking for a true get away to enjoy Southern Italy, this is a great place!

We visited Villa Vea in early June, just after Italy reopened to tourists. It was a wonderful stay. The grounds are so peaceful and idyllic. Cherry trees behind our bungalow, sepia-toned sunsets, sweeping views, charm galore. The hosts were warm and friendly. The food was very tasty. Andrew speaks great English and has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. I would also highly recommend the whole Cilento area. It's a really peaceful and serene contrast with the hectic feel on the Amalfi coast. Finally, just a note to say that I would highly recommend this as a travel destination during "COVID times" Campania has had very few cases and social distancing is easy in the wide-open spaces at Villa Vea. Coronavirus concerns seemed very far away during our relaxing stay. Five stars!

We had a wonderful stay. Delicious food, tranquil setting and incredibly helpful and welcoming hosts. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing few days in the Italian countryside. We enjoyed the natural setting and the peace and quiet, only occasionally broken by the cheerful appearance of one of the owner's cats, dogs, horses or a shepherd driving his flock of sheep past.
