Owners of the property are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Great choice of locally sourced food for breakfast and dinner. We had opportunity to have one dinner and it was worth it. Very nice plating, good size portion and tasted lovely. Compliments to chef. Table setting with view of setting sun, mountains and sea. Place is very relaxed and quiet. Ideally to have your own transport and you can get within 20min to all over the island. About 30min to the airport. I would recommend. Thank you

I stayed for four nights, and it was even better than I had expected. The view is breathtaking, the rooms were spotless, and everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I treated myself to a wonderfully relaxing massage, which really added to the overall sense of calm. Breakfast is lovingly prepared – not a big buffet like in chain hotels, but that’s exactly what I didn’t want. There’s fresh, delicious cake every day, and in the morning you can say what you’d like for dinner. This way, only what’s needed is cooked, which I truly appreciate. However, there could perhaps be a little more choice. I stayed in the suite with a peaceful view. It’s a bit more private and quiet, but I can also recommend the other rooms – everything is thoughtfully designed. I came to unwind and take a break from everyday stress – and that’s exactly what I found. I put my phone away, breathed deeply, and enjoyed the nature and animals. Just sitting and listening to the birds or watching the calm cows – a dream. I visited in May and travelled alone as a woman – for anyone planning something similar: I can absolutely recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

It was our second time in Menorca, and we know it won't be our last. But having stayed here, we may well keep coming back. The hotel is very much rural, as the title 'agroturisme' would imply. However, this is a plus for us. The drive up the hill the first time emphasized the location. We were seeking quiet and calm, and Son Vives delivered wholeheartedly. Despite it being 'remote' the site has everything you may need from a hotel in the category. Our room was the smallest, in all likelyness, but for us that was just fine. Water pressure was amazing, the bed was comfortable and temperature was cozy even in the tail-end of summer. Breakfast was delicious, the highlight is the grilled cheese, which you need to make sure and ask for, as it's made on-site. We got to meet the animals and have a nice chat with Tomeu, whose parents first settled the site years ago. The pool seemed unassuming on pictures but in real life it was excellent and we almost always had the deck for ourselves. While clearly there were some staff around at all times, 'reception' or concierge availability is only available for half a day. I think prospective guests need to understand: this is a hotel that is also a working farm, the amenities are all there but there is a degree of self-service involved. We did not mind this at all, but some people might. I would suggest you don't forget to do the short walk to the viewing point, it was a lovely spot to take in the island landscape.

Our stay at SON VIVES was quite perfect. The wellcome, the kindness of all the staff have to be highlighted. The swimming pool is so confortable. Room is well equipped, the private terrasse is enjoyable. Last but not least, breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the two diners we had at the Agroturismo equal to the best restaurants of Minorca we visited. We will thank Tomeo, and Phil (the dog), for the special visit of the farm and the land. To be advised without any doubt.

This is simply my favourite hotel. It's a stunning, idyllic location perfect for exploring the island from, the owners/staff are lovely, the food is great, and the style and decor are tasteful and perfectly suited to the location. We've been twice now and will definitely return.

An absolute jewel in the middle of Menorca with stunning views towards the mountains and sea in the North. Attention to detail of staff was impeccable as they prepared "fiesta" themed biscuits at arrival and provided own produced cheese for a picnic we had planned. The fried sobrasada for breakfast was another level so was the peacefulness and tranquility of the place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in lovely surroundings.

Very lovely Agriturismo - quiet and friendly. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Very peaceful setting, great staff and nice rooms.|A car is needed since it is quite remote - but its remoteness is the big asset of this hotel. Cows, horses, hens and donkeys are around.

Amazing location. Lovely staff. Great views. Fantastic breakfast and wonderful star gazing at night. The bed however was very uncomfortable. I woke up every morning with a stiff back. Maybe we have gone soft in the uk and like our mattresses a little too comfortable? The room apart from this was faultless and very clean with great views across the valley.
