If you bring your kids here during a time where they are hosting a field trip here, just know that you and your kids will feel unwelcome.
There were kids playing in an area (we did not realize it was a field trip), we tried to go over there , they told my kids no, to wait until after the field trip was done. Which was totally fine. So we walked a trail while we waited. Not a big deal at all. But when we got back and it was vacant, I assumed it would be okay to let my kids play. Nope. Still not okay. We were asked to leave that area. The least they could have done is rope the area off or put some kind of sign up.
I asked what we were allowed to do, but the field trip was apparently just at lunch. So any of the areas they would be using we also weren’t allowed to use. They were rotating between a few areas. So I felt uncomfortable and left after that. I felt like we weren’t allowed to do anything else and I didn’t want to disappoint my kids any further.
